hello I am impressed by your determination and the final effect professional work! I have a question, where can I buy a computer to operate these seats ? or who could make them for me? I would like to mount the same in my sprinter, many thanks
Definitely a cool project, I thought of changing my Sprinter seats like you as I have access to good seats that I could use. However, I would be extremely cautious with they way you secure them to the Sprinter. In the case of a crash, your mount might snap very easily. You should also take care of the airbags, as each airbag is designed specifically for each car in the way they inflate, deflate and most importantly the way they are supported by the vehicle structure. I am completely sure that a BMW side airbag will not work in a Mercedes Sprinter and what is worst, it might cause more harm to the occupants.
Thanks! Frame is secured to factory seat base, with seat bolts, and seats connected to frame also with seat bolts. Mount will not snap easily, it is enough thick and reinforced with cross members. Chest (or torso) SABs are mounted in the side of the seat or in the door and are designed to help protect an adult's chest in a serious side-impact crash. All Sprinter Vans starting from 2017 have side airbags. Location of those airbags is standard to all vehicles. I don't see any problem with that.
@@sprintermotors Yep, but side airbags only work when they are supported or pushed with the structure they were designed for, they are very specific and sensitive to the distance between your torso and the door panel for example. If this is less than in the BMW then your torso might get severely pushed by the airbag and your spine whip lashed, if i´s less it might bottom out. Even more, if the side airbag is a side-head airbag, it will always require the support of the B-pillar or roof rail to protect the head. I would be certain the airbags coming out of a BMW seat will not work as intended in a Sprinter. In any case, I was just commenting a caution message, the truth is that without a crash test there is no way of knowing the performance, but I wouldn't asume it will work as in the BMW.
Probably works great until it stops adjusting. It's BMW parts, why not use the Mercedes S class or the big wagon seats? I know, they're hard to find. But anything other than bmw from my experiences with them.
Möchte auch so was
How do you turn on heating or ventilation, you added separate button’s ?
Amazing like your works!!!
Thank you!
Is there any way to get a wiring diagram for all the connections?

Wouldn't s class seats be an easier install? And just as good
If I bring similar BMW Front seats for you to install on my 2016 MB Sprinter, can you find time to install it?
Hello i would like to know how did you connected the seats i mean the wiring to make them work.. i will pay for your services . Thanks!
Awesome work! How much did it cost ?
All the parts cost: 1000$

How did you connect the seatbelt? Iv got mk5 golf plus seats, and want to put them in a 2010 crafter but there’s no seat belt mount
For the driver seat I just swapped the Sprinter seat belt retractor. For passenger seat used the BMW ones. There must be a place to connect it.
Where is your shop located at?
Bellingham WA
