Hey great vid, I have fitted 325 leather seats to my Peugeot Boxer also. I did wonder why they only worked once during a trip. I have now fixed this feature. it took me a few goes but working great. no need to re set power.
Fantastic idea, great job, lovely seats, just a very minor thing, try to fit a rubber gromit where you drill a hole in metal for the wire, over time with vibration etc the cable could become bare causing a short maybe a fire.
I have got the same vehicle. I think that is a stroke of genius what you've done. However. I do agree with a previous comments I have driven this a mark 6 transit chassis exactly the same body vehicle. And the armrests I could not live without. And I love the feeling of space. Around the driver and I'm designing mine. So the missis can sit in the back with the kids while traveling. I think you're going to find my design interesting. I find yours very interesting very helpful. To my conversion. Thank you for that. 5 Seat belted seats with armrests will be in the back along with a bed settee. And the bed settee will have seat belts.
Hi I got the same seats for our conversion. I am struggling to get the connections for the 12V on the seat. Do you have diagram? Is it the yellow connector?
No I believe the memory stuff needs the BMW Canbus system, BMW seats turned out to be more of a nightmare than anticipated but there's not a lot of seats with belts built in
The only thing I would say is that I would have chosen seats with arm rests? as driving any distance hanging onto that steering wheel is going to be a bit tiring I think :/
Arm rests would have been nice but wouldn't fit as the seats are close together as I wanted to use some original mounting holes for the new base, the positioning is fine though, I've just been away for 3 nights in Scotland which was a 4 hour drive and it performed great up all the hills etc, the seat height is higher than it looks
As you mentioned, the passenger seat is relatively close against the driver seat. Given that the seat is wider than the base it sits on, I was surprised you seem to have chosen to have the slight overhang on the driver side, rather than the passenger side of the metal base.
Am I being thick; where did you get the base for the passenger seat?? looking to do exactly this to my van but honestly, I'm not sure I could do all this.
@@TheCampervanBuilder I've left the yellow bars and stuff in, could i just put a fold down seat to the right of the entrance steps and fix the seatbelt onto the wall or?
just google rustoleum colours and they are available online with the codes to order but I wouldn't do another rustoleum job myself, dents the resale value and a spray will be far less effort all round

Going to town on this one it's going to be very special.
It is indeed

Did you manage to get the neck warmers & heating working on those seats? Amazing work-around re the switch!
This is awesome! I am trying to do the same in my van with some e92 seats. Were you able to get the seat memory function to work?

It makes it easier to swivel this way around while using some original mounting holes for extra sturdiness
hi what other single car seats will fit a sprinter
you can make anything fit with enough time and patience

the base is another single drivers base, secured to some original mounts along with new ones fitted, should all be shown in the video
@@TheCampervanBuilder Thanks for the reply mate. I did think so but wasn't 100% sure. So you got this from another bus isit?
@@RJ-me3ir Any sprinter single base from the same model will do, doesn't have to come from a bus
@@TheCampervanBuilder Cheers mate, really useful (Y) Love your channel.
