I just now have discovered your work. Love your scrollwork. This over all takes my breath away. Been an artist since I could hold a pencil. Now 72 years old. This is out standing work.
Stunning! Have you ever used metallic interference paint as a wash? You can dilute it with acrylic medium and wash it right over painted areas without changing the values of the colored paint, but the dark base will exhibit a subtle colored sheen. I use Decoart enchanted series on some of my stones to achieve this.

@JaDeLRocks diluting ratio depends on the color with the Enchanted line. To match the visual values of the colors I currently have in ratio format (for example 2:3 would be 2 parts enchanted to 3 parts clear acrylic medium) - Blue 1:3 Turquoise 1:4 Green 1:5 Gold: 1:8 Those are the colors I have. It would be up to you. I like a somewhat subtle color wash on my stones, you may like it more or less intense. I apply a thin layer only once. I've found applying another layer to the first when dried leads to uneven blotching. Best thing to do, just paint a few things black and experiment with your own ratios. Have fun!

As landscape oil painter I have to say this had me absolutely gobsmacked with its absolute perfection. Your brush control is incredible and perfect on every single stroke. Needless to say I absolutely love love love this. ❤❤❤. I have no idea it could be so hypnotic watching you paint , and the whole design had me mesmerised from start to finish reminding me of a massive stained glass window and the colour choice very Elizabethan .

I just can’t get the painting and editing done in a week along side my mom duties. I started this one in August and didn’t find time to pick it back up until December… crazy huh?

@JaDeLRocks well honestly when you think of all the people holding us (pensioners on an unliveable income) hostage with their impossibly expensive Patreon pages then you truly deserve blessings. All the lovely Indian artists are equally generous in the giving (as in give, not 'selling') of their time and I find it more of a true community spirit. However, you ought to be receiving something for your time and, as I've got my canvas rearing to go, I certainly want to give the teacher an apple 🍎😄🍎 xxx
@ awwww, Thank you ♥️ I guess I never thought of it that way. I try really hard to make a living with my art but in other ways. I sell the art, I make commissions off some links in my descriptions, I sell guides and sketchbook pages, and some funds thru the ads in my videos. None of it adds up to a full income but I keep trying and maybe someday. I found this art when I needed it most. Sometimes I think the escape of painting was all that kept me sane through really tough times. It helps me with anxiety and my ADD. I just can’t see making people pay for the peace that I found for free. I truly just want to share. I figure if it’s meant to be it will be and the money part of life will take care of itself if that makes sense. So donations like yours speak volumes to me, Thank you ♥️

I’d love to see a picture when u get it displayed in your living room! Do you have a clue as to how many hours this took? When u started top dotting ALL the walking dots, I was feeling how long that part must have took and then again when u were doing the spiral borders, not that EVERY row of elements was any less time consuming, I just feel those tend to feel longer on my “little” pieces lol. It needs another coat of sealer so I can’t hang it for good. Plus I want to sell it. LOL. As soon as it warms up a bit I’ll spray it again and take a pic. For now it’s away from dust.
