" im Trying to respect people's opinion" good good thats what is needed in arguments, respect for eachothers opinions
Interesting point about the weight of the mouse being important, it is also kinda relative to how big/heavy your hands already are. Given the average adult human hand weighs about 460 grams, and a mouse ranges from around 60-200 grams, the jump from a 80g mouse to a 60g mouse will be felt a more by people with lighter/smaller hands. Let's think about physics for a second - the mouse is resting on the table, so you're not actually lifting the weight of the mouse. However, the increase in weight leads to an increase in friction on the mouse surface, and therefore a heavier mouse causes more friction. This is a function of both the weight of the mouse, the force of your hand resting on the mouse (if you don't use claw grip), and the smoothness of the surface. There is also an increase in inertia as the mouse gets heavier (this is a separate force to friction), so the extra weight increases both the amount of friction and the moment of inertia. For those who use a half-claw grip or a palm grip, the difference of moving to a high-friction to a low-friction mouse pad makes WAY MORE DIFFERENCE than a lighter mouse, since the force of friction greatly outweighs the inertia. Once you have a low friction mouse pad, THEN the weight of the mouse starts to be significant. However, we're looking at diminishing returns the lighter the mouse gets. A jump from a 200g mouse to a 63g mouse will be huge, but moving from an 80g mouse to a 63g mouse will be small, maybe even unnoticeable to people with bigger hands. In an ideal world, we would have a 0g mouse and 0 friction, and it would just be like moving your hand to control the cursor, however this would be basically like playing a tablet hover style. Having a surface to drag along is actually a bonus of playing mouse, since it keeps your mouse firmly planted on a 2D plane and eliminates up/down movement from the equation, making it easier to control. Also, a 0 friction mouse pad is impossible, since smooth surfaces eventually get scratched and become rough - more importantly, sweat and other particles quickly come into contact with the surface and spoil it. What you really want is a *consistent* surface which doesn't degrade over time. 1 drop of sweat in a specific spot on the mouse pad will inevitably cause you to over-aim and miss a circle when moving over that part of the mouse pad. There are certain ways to achieve this (keeping your mouse pad somewhat clean, and ideally even lubing it every day).
The sweat part is so underrated and often not taken into account. Since my hands sweat a lot when nervous some of the drops obviously fall onto the mousepad and days later the friction becomes much greater in just a matter of days lol. But the physics part as you mentioned just makes sense , also keep in mind the DPI that you play with. The lower the DPI the more you move your mouse and usually the more friction you generate. But it's nice viewing it from a physics standpoint.
I invested on the model O wireless It is actually amazing aside from the squeaky sound that it made after 1 month of use " I fixed that btw " it is perfect and if 3 days of battery is bad just disable the RGB in it then you are good to go for a week or so

i mean, if you have big hands, you might aswell save money and get a model o, no downside if you have big hands 19cm+ ive used it since release and i subconsciously ignore the holes like they arnt there, doesnt seem as big of a problem as people made it out to be
>The cord isn't really an issue Seems like you play with low DPI. I play with 4500-6000 DPI and let me tell you, it's very noticeable when the cord causes a movement to be decelerated because of the cord either pulling or pushing against you, so that you miss the hitcircle you were aiming for because of the sudden, seemingly random change in acceleration.

the gprox superlight has dropped from retail price (150) to around 125 dollars and lower hundreds. for 110 at gamestop, 110 best buy, 124 amazon. Ar this price point maybe looking a just a little more affordable
Can I ask what are the dimensions of your hand? The mouse looks huge in your hands. My hands are huge so if I wanna buy this I wanna know is it actually big or is ur hand just small.
dpi stands for dots per inch, which was originally in reference to the amount of dots of ink are placed in an inch during printing. But basically for mice it just means the frequency at which your mouse sends information to the pc to tell it where to move and stuff. So raising your dpi and lowering your sens is definitely a much better option because you allow your mouse to send more inputs, and you can improve the mouse's ability to read all your small precise movements. So I guess that translates into how much do you want to allow the mouse to do in this set period of time, kind of like increasing your refresh rate with monitors. If you really want smooth brain you can just tank your dpi and go ham with the sens
