I am driving an automatic nexon. You are highlighting negatives, There is no sound in gear box. Overall built quality is strong, gearbox is wonderful, liner power delivery didn’t give quick torque like manual, AC is wonderful, steering is butter. Also lag in the car is like in manual gear shift Its not that complicated for a common person, but yes as any new car it will take some time to get familiar.
I am using BS4 AMT petrol below are my observation, 1. ECO mode: Gear shifting very smooth gradually pick up, but power very less for overtaking 2. City Mode: Revs very high for gear shifting mostly shifts gear more than 2000-3000 rpm, sudden change which results frequent jerks. 3. Sports mode: Good power and smooth shift.

10 days pehle Nexon diesel xz Plus s manual li hai
Nice run no problem at all
Whether the engine is turbocharged or not
AMT is useful only for city.. On highway use manual mode.. It wil b better
No you are wrong, it is even more powerful on highway.
Totally biased reviews..... It's really fun to drive Nexon AMT.... Driving AMT is really too comfortable during traffic...
I hv never faced any issue at traffic light...good pickup....
That's true from manual to AMT feel little diff but after 5-10 days you will forget to manual n will start to enjoy AMT.....
is amt jerky? i mean in low speed is it sooo jerky or little bit jerky in traffics
Good points bro ...but dose Tata ever listens to it's customers..they have a mind of thier own 🙄
inn ko amt mai DCT ka experience chaiye....aur moving car mai gear transmission shift(from amt to manual or vice-versa) mana karte hai....i own nexon RD AMT and its a decent car for Responsible drviers
Excellent analysis, after a long time found a very very creative in depth analysis, thank you, cleared my dillema of which 1 to buy👍👍👍
So what have you decided? you buying with this car?
*/ I am a fairly new driver and have never driven an automatic model so wanted to check your opinion based on information provided in video /*
@@MM25WW will buy, but after 6/7 months, will happy to see if Tata is going to add ventilated seats or any other updates/changes in the engine
Very well explained. Thank you 🙏🏼

Thanks for your update. Plz show the negatives in live domo it will be very helpful
Comment useful very much . If i see it earlier then not purchase AMT at all
City ya eco mode ke under manual me sift kornese gear down sift hota hai qki menual me gaddi by default sport mode me cholla jate hai.high speed pe aap kobhi vi manual pe sift mot kijiye, gaddi ke gear tut jayega qki gaddi sport mode cholla jate hai aur usiki wajahse gear down sift ho jate hai Jo ki gaddike liye bohot khotornak hai.
I think there is a shutter around the gear stick it seams like slide closing lid which is making that sound.
M abhi Tata nexon automatic petrol se yamnotri Jake Aaya hun 5 dost k sath Delhi se...ye bahut jhatke Leti h..dusra hill pe chadte time b bahut problem Karti h...agar city me Chala Rahe ho to thk h...ye hill chadte time Apne aap gear down Karti h Jo ki mujhe bahut jyada Kami Lagi...agar city me chalate ho to automatic Lena Nahi to manual hi Lena...🙏
Eske jagah ecosport torque converter ya magnite CVT le lu
Sir I am planning to buy an amt .Is nexon wrought buying
Bhaiya.. isme driver seat 6 way adjustable h ky?
I experienced AMT fault when I was on a very steep hill. I could smell the clutch later I switched to manual to climb the slope. AMT fault cleared automatically. I want to check this with service guys if this a software issue.
Oh ho please share more of your feedbacks

Bhai I am bit confused btw n Hyundai venue DCT and nexon AMT ???
@@ujjwalpratiyushgautam7621 dct has some heating issues ..amt has little jerks too...but venue is based on hatchback platform...also venue has a very average built quality
I also experienced the same issue..
Agree with you on all points..I face issue with reverse gear most of the Times.. Everytime I have to press break to change gear but some times reverse gear will not engage..
Best enjoyable ride mode is sports mode where gear shifts are quick.. Off late I am getting that city mode has become slow in response.. Now most of the time I am driving on sports mode...
Hill pe creep function kam nahi karega..peeche nikal jatahey..
Myne is xma model.. There is no hill hold but creep function is not a substitute for hill hold
Reverse gear not slotting easily is a safety feature I suppose.
Xma has hill hold.....hope ur variant is 2020 and after
Very good review ...I had many doubts about Nexon AMT but now its clear
First of all one should not compare Maruti AMT with Nexon AMT...Nexon AMT is far more advanced & they use 8th generation technology..Hence for city speeds Nexon AMT technology is fantastic..For people planning to shift from manual to AMT, it is a very good option.
What are you saying ? Swift AMT is very smooth.
Maruthi Amt is better than tata
Mujhe pata nehin tha ki nexon mein AMT hai. Abhi to sochna padega ki koun si kharidoon. Actually I prefer DCT drive, but that is costly. I think I will look for some Torque Converter transmission or CVT. Anyways thanks bro
Your welcome
U have told exactly my complaints and issues of Nexon ZXA+ diseal …
I have recently bought this car few weeks back and got annoyed and disappointed with its lag, jerks, .
One more point I would like to add..
While shifting from accelerator to break, car is automatically speeds up unwantedly
Yes you are right i too faced this issue with the car where it accidently accelerate while braking
Altroz DCT kab tab aayegi??
I am buying xma, but i have a doubt while pdi, i switched on the ignition and i shifted it to manual mode and tried changing modes it didn't happen
You talking about petrol/DIESEL AMT?
Yes both of them
Awaz aane jaruri hai bhai and aap to yeh v cha rhe hooge phr to ki agr sheet belt na lgane time beep ki awaz aane glt baat hai
If Nexon comes with torque converter + ventilated seat and big touch screen its good
I am so much confused between nexon manual and AMT. I am about to book in next few days. After seeing this video i think i will stick with manual only.
What u booked finally.... Amt is better ...what is ur opinion
Nexon dct expected launch date?
Bhai correct review hai...
Thank you
Very well explained 👏. I'm impressed
Thank you very much
@@MyMotorGaadi I'm thinking of buying nexon xza + s diesel amt. Is amt good
On diesel nexon too? My usage is mostly city driving in traffic with some occasional highway trips. I'm not an enthusiast, i drive with a light foot. Which one will be better for me MT or AMT? Currently driving a manual hatchback since 5 yrs.
muje ye smj ni aya jb ap automatic gaadi lege to manual ku krege isko. fr faida kya hua.. jhatka kyu lagega manual me kreg ni to
many of these lags are perhaps due to turbo lag, not a problem with AMT. if you get a non-turbo AMT (naturally aspirated I think), e.g., MG Astor, most likely this lag won't be that pronounced.
Honest review no bakwas just real review...👍
If someone plans to go for manual then probably XM would not be right choice as Rs 90,000 difference (with XE) is not worth. But I have heard that if you buy basic model (XE) and fit central locking (even from TATA Genuine accessories / showroom only) it is big headache, means so many issues with it.
Guys, plz comment and guide me. I am putting Rs 90,000 extra (XM) only because I don't want to take any risk with such important function (Central locking).
Go with xm variant because that is the most value for money variant
@@MyMotorGaadi v3cars says no value for money. I also calculated after market prices. Question about after market fitted central locking performance Which is a very important feature
Amt is just: it's doing automatically the manual job...nothing else.. that's why woh jhatka ayega...apko road mein jyada dhan ho isliye amt has been launched..baas...baki smooth chaiye to cvt or dct is pretty obvious...so itne issues sabko nhi hone chaiye
I have faced issues with my amt nexon 2020 petrol. Sometimes my gear goes from auto to manual mode without my intervention. Which was really scary but tata fixed it.
Hope it does not comes again
really honest review on amt transmission
Thank you very much
@@MyMotorGaadi but why did you choose this car despite trying sonet imt and ecosport torque converter?.🤔
@@sushmita8824 I think Sonet is not a safe car.....I also have a confusion between ecosport titanium plus(which has torque converter) and Nexon AMT.....Negative point ecosport titanium plus variant is that they have removed few features from this variant like android auto/apple carplay and TPM...
Thank u much !
You're welcome!
I feel a kiger turbo with cvt is a much better response nd performance for an automatic.... No need to spend more, it offers everything! Amt is boring👎
Yes you are right CVT are much smoother to drive
This guy is a layman 😂😂 good channel for Noobs 👍🏼
Mene abhi koi gaadi nhi li he, meri first Gaddi hogi.. esliy automatic lena chah raha hu, nexon amt lu, ya EcoSport torque converter, magnite CVT ya skoda torque converter..kon si lu..muje sirf 10 din ka driving experience h wo bhi just 10 mins everyday :) wo bhi 2 saal hogye :(
2 sal se soch raha hu gadi lene ka.but decide nhi krpata because sab ki kamiya malum hogyi he youtube videos dekh kar :( budget bhi jyada nhi he 10-12 lakh on Road..mileage bhi chahiye, strong built bhi..looks bhi or automatic bhi ;)
Nexon amt will feel like manual transmission. Ecosports will feel like scooty transmission. So go with nexon
@@MyMotorGaadi i didn't understand what do you mean by scooty transmission??
@@MyMotorGaadi if nexon will feel like manual why should I go for it as I don't want manual, I want automatic
@@coolperson6143 Go with Brezza (or Urban cruiser) AT
It's not a great car but it's the perfect balance of everything. (Considering all parameters like mileage, resale, performance, reliability, refinement, comfort, after sale service & support etc)
I was in same boat as you and finally booked Brezza ZXI AT
(The fact that OP is calling Ecosport 6 speed AT feel like scooty and saying Nexon AMT to be superior shows how much he knows about automatic transmissions and blatant biasness towards Nexon)
Thanks
Bhai w6 xuv300 lu ya Tata Nexon XMA AMT Diesel?
Suna hai Nexon ka hillhold assist kaam ka nahi hai.
What about downhills?
The AMT doesn't change gears for long
Like you will be in 40kmph and still on second gear. I felt very annoying
In amt the gears will shift automatically as the speed increase
Wrong answer to the question 😕
@@MyMotorGaadi dumb answer.
I think it's safe that way.... In manual people gear down so as to use the braking power of engine to prevent brake pads from getting overheated and failed.... In AMT, if it up shifts we can control car only by brakes but not by engine
In automatic also we can control the car by engine braking in manual mode
Good review of amt .🙏
When Altroz dct coming?
Hello sir I'm using xma petrol from last 2yrs , on highway and normal driving condition there is no issue I usually drive in city mode but now a days bcs of metro work my route to home from office is highly congested bcs of that just by driving 30/35 mnts in bumper to bumper amt malfunctioning indicators start blinking & my car usually drops the power, I discuss this issue with my service manager but he says don't accelerate & move the gear into neutral position if u stand still for more than 5/10 seconds but I dnt understand what's the use for AMT , kindly suggest me how you are using under same circumstances
In bumper to bumper condition the amt gear box tends to heat up. Earlier it used to blink for me also. But in heavy traffic I only use brakes and I don’t use accelerator peddle and don’t shift to neutral gears. Then that indicator stopped blinking and till now there is no issue with the gears
@@MyMotorGaadi means I dnt have to neutral again and again just need to brake the Padle and release as per the moving condition of traffic.
All are getting Very practical information
What is the average in city with amt
Gives me 15-17kmpl incity and 20-22 on high way.
This mileage in petrol Or diesel??
Bro ye Nexon xma he kya
Please reply🙏🙏
Yes it is xmas
That's why I have buy mahindra thar diesel automatic which is torque converter
How much mileage can expect from Nexon AMT
15-16 kmpl max no matter what.
I have got 18 in high way.
@@subhaskmandal4904 do u drive in manual mode on highways?
No normally I run on eco mode, while climbing up the hill I put on manual or donot let the gear go above two, otherwise Torque will reduce, if I get a good clear high way I put on sports. But be careful she jooms in sport. I drove this time twenty four hours from yashpur of CG to my home. Via Barakar. But in eco. I do not drive in sports in night except for overtaking.
Another thing I have noticed, if you are on eco low speed, your pick up will be slow initially, so from city go to eco, keep an eye on tc revs, I am seventy one ,I feel very comfortable in Nexon, reversing is very easy I love her in highways
Good information
Very information and clean video, keep up✌️.
