I have a mowing buisness and the Raptor XDX was my first mower I picked to start with. I have had it for 2 years and put 613hrs on it. I must say when i changed the hydros oil it was NOT fun. Everything about the mower has been great, except that.
I agree 100 percent about changing the Transmission Hydro , it really need the oil reservoir tank on it, it will make it easier check and changing transmission oil, Thanks for watching an commenting Jared.

My son is starting out with a lawn business part time and we bought him the xdx and i feel the same way now. Although we havent had any issues yet as it only has 22 hours on it but i wish i knew before hand about the crap battery and no reservoir for transmissions.
Is was a little piss when I made the video , the XDX is a good mower , I don’t think you went wrong getting it , they say that crappie little battery last three times longer than a regular battery. I guess it got a bad one, . But they need to but the reservoir back on the mowers it’s make it easy to change transmission oil and check it Thank you Johnny for watching and commenting on the video
Hello Travis, Thank you for watching, yes just a couple problems the Levers Dampers kept coming off but I fix it with tread Locker, Had a problem with the Little Battery they installed the the XDX now it wouldn’t stay charged. I replaced it with a bigger battery,I think I got about 68 hours on it now. The one thing I really dislike about XDX is it don’t have transmission oil reserve tank to make it easier to check the oil lever and add oil if needed, it would make it easier changing the transmission oil easier. I think I would do some shopping around take look at other zero turns on the market see if they have all things I want in a zero turns, on the other hand the Hustler Raptor XDX or the XD are great mowers and I do have a dealership about 5 miles from me. Right now I’ll not sure what I would do.
Curious as to why didn’t the long funnel work to fill it with oil? On my raptor XD I just removed the plugs marked A in the book then pump oil in and when it starts to flow out put the plugs back in.
It just wouldn’t run through it , best I remember so I just use the pump to get oil in the transmissions until it run out of port plugs, my by-pass not actually going in by-pass, had a problems getting air out of the transmissions but have that problem fix now.

Only problem I nearly had was heart failure when they told me it was $1000 to change motor oil and do hydraulic oil change
