Prob because hot wheels is known to be a game where you sabotage other opponent with your weapons and not just racing....i too don't like it when my games where you can gain a massive advantage over some weapons turn into a mediocre racing games with the only thing that makes hot wheel fun is not included
These physics lessons are very important and the pinnacle of going faster in racing games. As an example, the usage of nitrous in air gives you extra airspeed in Asphalt 9, hence going faster. However, there is a determined speed limit for each car based on fixed percentage so we cut the nitrous usage as soon as the car reaches the capped speed in air. Believe me I know how much hard work it takes to present the physics facts in every game, I used to do something similar in past. Very cool ISAD!
this is the most interesting part of these games for me. if i remember correctly, boosting while drifting puts you past the top speed of the car in burnout games. such an awesome trick and you can really make up serious time if you optimize your lines and boost

When you boosting and get slowed down by something (wall for example), releasing the boost and boosting again will make your car back to top speed faster than keep the boosting after the slow down. If you have Burnout Revenge you can try this on that track where you raced on some kind of snowy mountain, since there was some letter S corners and you can try this trick if your car get slowed down by the wall
In the hotwheels world all cars are 300mph made by Dr.Tesla but the people that made the animated series didnt know what Horsepower was, so if a car had 241hp it still went 300mph so….🤷🏾♂️
If that long track were set up as a sprint and run as a time trial, it would provide data as to the accelaration as well as top speed, which would be extremely useful. If the tests were done with full as well as zero boost, I think that would be a good way to guage their boost responses as well?

2 new cars; Bassline and Barbie Dream Camper just got added recently and there are still 18+ more vehicles to be revealed in Vol. 2 and 3 upcoming in 2022 and more Racing Seasons Also after looking at this speed comparison; this probably explains why I had trouble doing those loops on Garage Yo-Yo using the Tricera-Truck
It's good to know this, but obviously this won't tell you what car is the fastest in a straight line over a certain distance. I was actually surprised to find out that a Legendary Sandivore was actually the fastest in my tests (no boost) on both a very short straight track (roughly 3 secs) and a very long straight track (roughly 12 secs). Granted, I didn't test every car, but most of them, excluding ones with exceedingly low speed and acceleration stats. Surf N Turf, Motosaurus and Bump Around were not far behind the Sandivore in a drag race over the two distances, which surprised me too. The cars you'd expect to be fastest based upon stats-Jesko, Superman, 24 Ours and the like-weren't as fast as these other cars, which makes absolutely no sense. These other cars like Sandivore accelerate stupidly fast, and defy their stats. The main problem with Sandivore is it handles and brakes very poorly (worse than it should, based upon the stats), but the others I mentioned all brake and handle pretty well (Bump Around and Motosaurus especially) and I think you could get used to how they drift. Cars like Jesko brake and handle so well though, which makes up for them being actually a bit slower in a straight line than these others. But Superman is probably the most OP car I've tested, since it's up there with all these cars in terms of speed and acceleration, it drifts almost as well as a Jesko and it has 4 boost pips, which is what really makes it OP. It being seemingly only slightly less good at braking than a Jesko, for example, doesn't justify giving it 2 additional boost pips. The 2 extra pips give you an edge and can help make up ground if you make a mistake. It's more forgiving. In any case, I reckon Surf N Turf and Motosaurus are actually much better than people expect.

Still, the game is not the kind in which a difference of 15 mph matters that much, skill and boost still decide how a race is going to go. Unless we have a repetition of RD-02 lol okay just read that the RD had a too speed of 300, that's only a difference of 5 mph.
TBH STHreet Creeper is pretty slept on. It's been known as strong for a while, just never quite caught on. And while it's true Boost and handling play an important part, this demonstrates how some cars are more reliant on boost then others.
Mph is meters per hour and not miles per hour? The cars are small, from their faces it seems that you are driving fast, and if you stand next to it it will not be so fast.
might wana re look at these speeds the custom volxwagon smoked the duck and roll in terms of time and it wouldnt gain any ground without boost on your track
@@IsuckAtDriving visually one sees virtually no accelaration or change in velocity whiloe the rpms nearly double in frequency. It's very annoying, like they just throw the car into neutral. So much for UNLEASHED....

the Deora feels way faster than the jesko spam, especially on straights. guess this is why.
The Deora is one of the worst cars in the game because of its horrific handling, weak boost, and it flips like nobody's business.
