  • In this video, I do back to back testing with a Sanwa M12s and an M17. Right now, you can purchase a used M12 or M12s for around $150. The M17 is selling new for $599 at retailers. This video is to see if it is really worth the extra money, especially for the average driver. Big shoutout to Will Blevins for letting me borrow the M17 for this video!!!

I watched the whole video and honestly I think you did better with 7s then you did with 5s. Just my honest opinion brother new subscriber

I'm really new to the hobby. about 4 months. I had a big race today second one not a club day. I have a nitro and a ebuggy. what a learning curve today. I have a used m17 and I turned it down today during the day.
with changes like ebuggy and nitro and tyres as I said being new. I turned this down different amounts I'm not sure what it changed got almost last in nitro b final.
and got 5th in the amain. I'm a grown man and never had so much fun.
after watching this and today. I've learned I need to take more time and go slow... so much to learn. but I found the ebuggy today was amazing 👏 i had on 1s and I like going from one extreme to the other to learn. but I have alway felt like the buggys had been on edge.
thanks for talking about the amazing hobby

@@ZingZingNZ why not? Just did the math about 1400 to get a 1/8 nitro buggy built vs jus under 1k for 1/8 E buggy and about $750 for a 1/10 4wd e buggy. Nitro would be nice but looks like it will cost some more coin to get a car built up. I do have an old ofna 1/8 nitro buggy I can try to get going for my nitro fix lol

@@smauller623 too much stress, they say I'm a natural lolol. But I am paced to be one of the last in the a mains. With the guys who have done it their whole life's. I'm not a year into it yet and 36 years old. So I'll just concentrate on one class.
This weekend racing will cost me around 1600 nzd for tyres racing and a new ad3 for summer.

All I know is in the competitive race scene either one of those Sanwa's I'd take over a Futuba 7px or even a 10px well I'd just sell the 10px and get the m17 😂 and use the rest to put into my Losi 5T2.0 suspension 🤣
