Overdrive test!! 39% vs 17% How much is too much?

In this video, I go out to Moss Rock and test 39% vs 17% overdrive in my Poizd T3!! I want to take this test farther, buit this is the only gears I had available at the time. I have been running 39% for a while now with great success, but I hear people all the time say "that's too much overdrive" so I figured it was time to put it to the test!!!

My VS4 10 has selectable front OD with 46% OD and i love it. I even leave it on sometimes on fast trail runs without a problem. NICE VIDEO👍🏾💯

38% for me on my ascent and love it. Pulls hard and turns on a dime

I was always satisfied with 20-25% overdrive until I built a VRD Carbon with 37% overdrive....and it's a very capable crawler. Gotta build a Poizd truck next!

Man it seemed like the 17% wanted to keep going when trying to slide sideways in the rock grooves..
The very steep climbs with all 4 wheels grabbing did seem to have bounce.
