    Thanks Lynn, this was an amazing video. I just remade all mine to these sprays and they seem to be working very fine and dandy. Thank you for doing the investigative work for us and now I am good to go!

    Can this paint be used on metal and other objects? I’m so excited to learn this! Will be so much cheaper than trying to buy so many spray paints. I just found you, so this is the first time I have watched you, but it won’t be the last. God. Less you!

      Hi Ann! I'm not sure about metal, you would have to test it out, sorry. I've only used it on cardstock. Have a beautifully blessed day.

    I've seen a tutorial using powdered eye shadow to make sprays. I wonder if you combined the two ideas how the spray would come out?

      That is a really interesting idea Aileen. I'm up for trying it!!! Have an awesome weekend and thanks for stopping by.

    Would you say paints like Americana, Apple Barrel or any of the other acrylic paints would be okay for spraying halloween projects or have you settled on using one brand?

    • @Farmhousebytheriver
      @Farmhousebytheriver  4 года назад

      Hi George! Thanks for stopping by. I am in Canada, so we don't have Americana or Apple Barrel, but I'm sure any paint would do.

      Those are perfect and work great (I know I come to the party pretty late and you've more than likely done your experiments). In fact the dollar store is one of the WORST places to get "cheap crafter's acrylic" because their 2 oz bottles are $1, and WalMart, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc. sell 2 oz regular acrylic bottles from .50-.77 before applying any coupons you might have.

    Would this work on denim? I have a sofa I want to spray paint,

    • @Farmhousebytheriver
      @Farmhousebytheriver  3 года назад +1

      Hi! I'm not sure if it would work or not, probably best to do a test spray on some denim to see what happens.

    What is the important of alcohol

    Did u get those spots because of the alcohol?

    • @Farmhousebytheriver
      @Farmhousebytheriver  6 лет назад

      Hi Sally, I did that video awhile back, but I would think the alcohol had something to do with how it reacted to the paper. I love playing with new ideas, so I will try most anything for art, lol. Thanks so much for stopping by. Blessings.

    I've tried this it clogs everytime... I really would like to know how you got it to not clog

    • @Farmhousebytheriver
      @Farmhousebytheriver  4 года назад +1

      Hi Vikki. If it's too thick it will clog, so maybe try thinning it out a little. I also have some bottles that the sprayer stopped working so I would just use it to "flick" paint on my pages. Hope that helps.

      @@Farmhousebytheriver i made it really thin, like for a 6 oz bottle I added maybe less than a teaspoon? the sprayer is the type that you squeeze too like on a cleaning bottle. I know each time I add acrylic it's doom to ruin it.

      Thank you so much. The music is just a jazz piano snip I use, I don't think it's actually a full song, sorry. Thanks for popping by.

      Hi Missy! Thank so much for stopping by. Making sprays is just too much fun! It's pretty easy and just add paint until you get the color you like. Have an awesome week!

      Hi Jay! Thanks for the feedback! That was one of my very first videos, so I was still learning the ropes. The newer ones are quite abit quieter.
