Thanks for watching and the feedback! Corvette paint can often be on the harder side. A more aggressive pad like this wool pad gets great results for harder paint types.
@@southsidedetail yeah man I notice that on harder paint foam pads just don’t cut as much, but microfiber and wool do a better job yet finish out just fine. The softer paints seem to like a foam polishing pad, it cuts pretty good, and finishes out fine. That’s why I tell people you simply never know until you do at least one test spot, from there you can adjust pad and/or product.
@@southsidedetail yeah man the rupes yellow medium wool polishing pad I hear is a good one step pad for harder paints, people combine that pad and the yellow DA fine as a jump up from the yellow foam.
You nailed it with that pad and polish combo, more cut than the yellow foam, but still finished out well. 👍🏼
