@ShawnStafford-1978 back in the mid 80s a High school teacher in our metal shop class had a vw thing he'd would occasionally drive into work. All of us HS kids would stop an ask 20 questions about it after classes. We all wanted rides in it sadly he'd turn us down 😭
@johnnyg7347 Nice! There's a orange Type 181 VW Thing, with a white top. It's at my old town parked inside with a T1 Van with the camper roof option. That would've been awesome to ride in one.

I think 144 scale is because tanks are so big they made them a smaller scale to suit HO scale 🤔
