First time I've ever heard an anime show using jazz music for it's intro.
Well, I hear jazz is kind of big in Japan. Oh well, at least its sung well.
This theme was made for the dub. The original uses a bouncy bubbly parade march song.

Best thing 4kids ever done I'm gonna say this is the best 4kids dub out of all the dubs they done edit and voice wise if it wasn't for 4kids we wouldn't have that beautiful dedede voice, zorro meta knight and this song

Nathan Evans it wasn’t 4Kids fault, the blame goes to Fox eventually I heard that have censorship rules tv network restrictions law not to use those stuff from USA that not appealed to children. They forced 4Kids to do this or else it won’t aired on Saturday Morning that what channel your watching like CW or Fox channel (that was used to be there). If it was Nick maybe they would censored little stuff not much as other channel.

@@lpfan4491 I don't know, I kinda liked it's portrayal of the Sonic Adventure games, hearing Live and Learn play when Shadow removed his inhibitor rings was pretty neat, even if it was only in the Japanese dubbing. Season 3 however was a travesty with the only good scenes being Shadow's and that one part with Dark Sonic.

Whenever I see Kirby I always think about how they try to make him seem cooler in the west. Like at 0:05 it shows sword Kirby, stone Kirby, and fire Kirby while in the Japanese version it's chef Kirby, ice Kirby, and fire Kirby, and when the boxes collapse he looks around and smiles while here he puts on a serious face. The Japanese version is much cheerier and light-hearted while the American version is a lot flashier and bombastic, but it goes hard so the change was well worth it.
Idk I see it as the two sides of Kirby. One is cute and silly and the other is the hardened badass who fights Eldridge horrors. Both are Kirby you just have to balance them
I want this to be rebooted with the same theme but with all the modern characters and lore

Man, this is an absolute bop to listen to. It is jazzy, upbeat, and fits Kirby perfectly. It will cheer you up at even the worst times. The person who sings this song sounds great in this song. Kirby: Right Back At Ya! (American Version) deserved this phenomenal song.

I love 4Kids dub with their great intro 1 minute and I missed them so much on Saturday Morning. I don’t want to hear any Japanese fanboys (don’t even listen to them) and they are saying it sucks everything on 4Kids dub because they just hate English voice actors and their horrible edits eventually when it wasn’t 4Kids made those edits it was network restrictions tv laws (Fox channel) were the ones made the edits to forced 4Kids to edited them from their censorship rules due to being children network so blame on network tv laws or else they won’t aired the episodes at all. I am saying is 4Kids didn’t make the edits to do it that people were mad about 4Kids dub a lot back then and one of people Japanese fanboys never understand how the 4Kids dub did. I will say this intro beat the heck of Japanese intro and this dub voice actors definitely beat the Japanese original. I am going to say they both did best job handling the anime. And Even a lot people Japanese fanboys mad about not keeping Japanese music that because they can’t afford all Japanese music or usually copyrighted license issues like Yu Gi Oh and Eric Stuart that works with 4Kids that voices MetaKnight in this show and he said something like if they keep all Japanese music they won’t make any money it will just give the money to Japanese people whoever made the music or composer made and get the credit of it and it all about royalty” or they will get bankrupted earlier if they don’t make enough money I think, but only way to make the money is to create music in America because it cheap than buying Japanese music. Actually I mean I am serious Eric Stuart said something like that and I can show you the link that whoever he need it

Just came back because of the announcement confirmed that Kirby: Right Back At Ya! (Japanese Dub) will be remastered in HD and it will Releasing this Winter on Blu-Ray box. (According to during the RUclips livestream of Kirby Music Fest in celebration of 30th anniversary of the franchise.)
