I'm glad to see you responding to comments and actually talking to your viewers. Your rift beast guides helped me achieve new high scores during the last FRR and I am thankful for that. I've been farming giants the past few months but the mana payoff is way less than in dragons so I plan to build a db10 team that would match my giants team's speed and consistency and I found your guide somewhat achievable with the current runes that I have (I have to say I'm still early mid game) but I would have to sacrifice some of my other dungeon team's runes, but I guess that should be fine given that once I start farming dragons I would end up focusing all farming there anyway. lol I still don't have access to the optimizer atm but I think I can manually match my stats with yours (or at least try to) to achieve a similar result. Heya Bamboo :) Yeah it's a challenge to keep up with the comments, but I'll keep replying to everything as long as I can - and I plan to always read them all and respond to as many as I can either way! :) I also try to help anyone I can in the Discord server: discord.gg/AMsYQMp Really awesome that you can make this team :) One thing to keep in mind is that you can use an extremely similar team for NB10. I have a vide on that team - it's pretty much just add a quality lushen with speed tuning and then add a shihwa or abigail with any random crap runes that are speed tuned. For GB10 you can also use the Julie, Sabrina and Talia, along with that same Lushen, and then just add in a Sophia with max acc and max cr and then whatever additonal damage you can (there's a video on that team too). I've also built a new, faster necro team that uses these same monsters tho the rune requirement is maybe a bit higher. I'll be doing a vide on that soon. Anyway - point being, I'd say it's worth making the DB10 team and then working on building out the others since it's only a few extra monsters ;) Good luck!

I actually felt like crap realizing I've wasted like 3 of the 4 years I've been playing this game on not focusing on farming and now on my 4th year I've reassessed my rune quality and it seems like I'm back to square one. My only advantage is I was able to max out my towers so building these teams are just a bit easier compared to if I try to build them on a new account. And now that you're getting more serious, you've got a "leg up" on players who take it serious from day one! ;) At the end of the day, the game is so big and so many players there's always someone better, so we play for progression not to be #1, and now you're making good progression! I just realized that I just started getting serious recently and my advantage is I have most of the units built so I can form comps almost at will with the runes that I've gathered so far to help me with the goal that you emphasized - progression! @@bambooranada Hehehe I'm really glad I can help. It's one awesome thing about the game - there's always thousands of players "at your level" no matter what level you're at. And thousands more "a little ahead of you" and "a little ahead of them" and so on. So we can constantly test overselves without having to dive straight into the deep end. At the end of the day, the goal is really just to have fun. Whether that fun is from farming, progressing, seeing cool new animations (tmogs), theorycrafting, other stuff, or some mix of everything doesn't matter. As long as you're enjoying your time it's worthwhile! :) I appreciate the recommendations to the guild!
I was happy to see this, I immediately clicked on this video because i had hard time clearing DB10 even though I am already in the mid-game, i had a team that could clear the stage for 1:30 - 1:50 mins. but can't clear consistently. When i saw the runes that you showed us, I lost hope, your Julie even have better runes than my Lushen. But still thank you for showing us how you runed your team, I'm hoping i could get that kind of stats and runes :D
Yeah this is definitely a "late-mid-game" team but hard to put that level of detail in a title hehe. Julie's runes are hard to make, the others I have in here don't need to be as beefy as I have them if that helps - but Julie definitely does. One big thing to remember, you don't need as much speed either. Just so happens that was the speed of the runes I had, but less speed is OK to (+25 for the slowest monster with max towers). Also, most people who rune Julie, her runes are better than Lushen now ;) I hope you can build this team, or a different good one soon! I do plan at some point to do an update on this video and show some alternatives too!
@@XennialGamer i changed the runes of my team, i had a hard time finding runes for them that could get the stats of my teams closer to yours, but my only problem was the speed, cause my twins are now slower, the mid boss outspeed me, thank you very much I didn't know that the minimum speed needed was 25, i really need this info :D i have a last question, could i use Kro instead of Lynn? cause i don't have a Lynn, but I doubt that Kro could replace Lynn since he's very dependent on debuffs, I don't know any other monsters that could replace Lynn
@@leomarbarade6727 Yeah.. this was about the 2nd video I did. I wish I'd spoken more about speed in it, it's a learning process to make better videos hehe. So for this particular team, you can probably use Kro instead of Lyn, but (I'm only guessing) you might wind up needing some more hp, because if Kro derps then the fight might last longer. You could also try some other nukers such as Raoq or Sigmarus, same thing, you just might need a bit more hp if you're failing. I think my old team was Shaina, Galleon, Sabrina, Lyn, Talia - in that team, you can replace Lyn for a different nuker more easily, it just is a bit sloiwer also.
@@XennialGamer i haven't really thought about the hp of my mons, I keep on working on the damage and speed of my mons, and they are squishy, maybe i should work on sustainable team instead of fast team, i need to farm runes first before working on a fast team. @@leomarbarade6727 Definitely, you've got it :) It's striking a balance - the more damage you do, the less hp you need. But if you can't manage the damage, then some hp offsets make the team stable it just takes longer. this is definitely not mid-game runes.... I would say they are close to end-game rune or G2-3 tiers runes.... Or else you would be shaming us, mid-gamers. But still thank for the wonderful advice and I will try to reach close to these stats and also to spd tune them as you just said.
You're very welcome, and I hope you're able to build the team sooner rather than later! :) Remember, slower runes are totally fine, plus you can have less damage and cr on Shaina and Sabrina. You also don't have to use all the violent runes - even triple two-sets for Sabrina and Shaina are fine, the only monster that "must" be how it is is Julie. Also, FWW I agee, it's definitely not "early mid game" runes, but should be reachable for most players by later-mid-game when you're doing r5 regularly. These rune sets average about 89% efficiency on average, but 85% average sets would probably do the trick - for point of reference, as a late game player my top 50 monsters average 98% or so.
@@thedarkneon4447 Haha I stand by these being mid-game runes. But mid game is the by far the longest part of the game, and by itself is at least 3 stages. So these teams aren't necessarily "ALL" mid-game runes. But they're runes you should be able to easily match once you're raiding regularly and before you move out of mid-game... From an efficiency perspective, none of these sets are over 90-91%, while my end-game PVP monsters are all between 99 and 105%. And that's C3/G1 level quality runes in RTA - the G3 players are at 115%+.
this is definitely not endgame or g2/g3 runes. End game runes are over 100% efficiency, there are g3 players with units runed at 110%+ avg efficiency. 85-90% efficiency runes are basically between blue/purple quality and grinded/gemmed. Definitely mid/latemid game runes.
Wow that's amazing (about the marathon)! Really glad you're enjoying the videos and finding them helpful, seriously that's the reason I do this! I am guessing a lot of the teams/concepts you may still have a ways to go to get the rune requirements, but hopefully it's giving you a good goal to shoot for :)
@@XennialGamer As of now, I'm on the stage of farming better runes coz I have finished all of the required stages like cairos & toan/toah. I still need a lot of skillups for my team in order to fully utilize their strength. PS. Please make a video about "Are NAT 5s really that important?" (The one from scrolls). Some of my friends quitted because they just can't get any nat5s even when playing for more than 100+ days. They can't understand that there are nat5s that can be fused and they only said it's weak.

@@lucaschmidt5474 Yeah Abigail works really well for necro. I find Shihwa works a little better, but they're very close. Scarlett (fire cannon girl) and Arang both do well there too, among others. The most important part of Necro is speed tuning :)

PLEASE NOTE: 1. Boss resistance is 69%, not 55% as I said in the video. So accuracy targets are 54% (Sabrina) and 29% (Shaina). HOWEVER, if you have enough damage and effective hp, then lower accuracy would just result in maybe a 1-3 second slower average run. 2. Your slowest monster only needs a combat speed of 135.01+ (which is about +20 speed with max speed towers.) My runes are faster because that's what I had, but the only thing you need to match is the damage output. 3. Alternatives to Lyn: I haven't tested any, so can't promise - but generally you need monsters that can CONSISTENTLY hit hard and act in the 4th position. Best bets will be Luna, or water monsters with multiple attacks that scale to enemy's max HP damage. If your runes are good enough, a 2nd Talia will work also. Please read the comments from @Jason Bowles below, as he tested quite a few options.
regarding optimizer: you do not need to count in the leaderskills + fight runes, there is a field for how many fight sets you got, bellow the place where you enter your wished runesets, extend it. :-)
Hehehe yeah I showed that field in another video. I try to show different ways to do things in the optimizer in different videos. This was one of my first videos though, and a few things I could have explained better - I do plan to redo this one in time!

For sure... 90-95% of Lyn's damage comes from crit damage. The atk adds just a tiny bit. You can also use resistance runes (nice in GB10) or any other kind of runes. But if she can survive the hit using attack runes, it's always nice to have more damage too ;).
LOL, yeah I always want to do that too :p But while I don't know the mechanics of the optimizer, I suspect that the weighting impacts the initial rune selection it analyzes, so it's often worth running the optimizer a few times with different weightings because putting everything to max might (for example) cause it to ignore a slot 1 rune that happens to have 25cd but "only" 13 atk. So I try not to over-adjust the weighting except if I know it's "all or nothing" - for ex. I might move spd on Bastet to 2.5 or 3.0, or I might actually run the optimizer 2-3 times, once at 2, 2.5 and 3.0.
It's so funny... in 2 months or so, nobody ever noticed this, and you're the second person to comment on it in the past two days :p You're definitely right, I said it wrong in the video, Julie doesn't have attrib advantage on the crystals. However, their hp and def are much lower than the rest of the wave, so she doesn't actually need the 100cr to trigger Shaina's Chakram Crush - and going for the 85cr makes the rune requirement much more attainable for most people :)
thanks this tutorial really helped me planning for my future team. I could build this team but im missing a sabrina and a lyn i managed to pulled a dark nat 5 (nyx) but i couldn't pull a lyn
Wow Nyx is a really nice unit, congratz for him!!! I hope you pull a Lyn soon. It was crazy for me - I waited forever to pull a Lyn, she was just about the last LD3 I was missing. And then as soon as I pulled her, I pulled 3 of them in 5 summons. I'm going to do an update to this video soon, and test some alternatives. Unfortunately i'm pretty sure that Lyn is by far the lowest rune quality requirement, but I'm hoping to at least discuss some alternatives for people who have the rune quality.
LOL.. love the title. I can think of a few teams I'd test out, but I'll need to do it on someone else's account, since all my runes are grinded. I'm getting backlogged with great ideas from people so can't promise when - but I'm adding this to my list, and I'll see what I can come up with :) For now, you might want to check out Sean B's video using Loren. I think that's a more fighter-friendly team, with lower rune requirements. When I tested it, it ran closer to 45sec, but it was very stable.
Heya Xennila! Love your content as always. I was curious about the Shaina passive you mentioned. It reads as if Sabrina only has to be in the team to benefit from Shain's passive. So she'd only need 15 acc even if attacking without Shaina. What is your understanding of this?
Heya James, thanks man! So you're reading the passive correct - however, I pinned a note to this video a while back I kinda messed up the infographics there. Basically the boss has 69% resist. Since you cannot bring him below 15%, you need 54% accuracy. With Shaina's passive, that means Shaina and Sabrina need 29% accuracy for "maximum opportunity". I really need to update this video soon!
Based on the damage you did with your julie and her stats, I think I have a set of runes that could wipe the waves.... IF I had leveled my arena towers.... I procastinated that too much...
Hahaha.. yeah the arena towers are tedious. But if you can fully wipe the waves, then Seiishizo's team is the way to go :p Where this one is like 26-36, I think his is like 23-29. If I could've gotten Julie's damage high enough I'd have gone that route :p
This guide is Legit for those who trying to chase speed clears. Side note: There's a derp clearing on 3/4 stage when Shaina on vio. 1st - Julie AOE > Shaina Clears (uses AOE) 2nd Mini Drag - Julie attacks > Shaina (normal attacks) ***if she procs vio she'll be using AOE*** which you need to clear for 3/4 If this happens Talia uses the necessary skills for the boss stage because she takes a turn on 3/4 stage Isn't it better for Shaina to not to have vio for faster clearing time? Though what you've said it's for a derp protection it still bugs me to see Shaina procs. Just saying.
Heya Jor - I see what you're saying, but it'll be covered as long as Shaina is skilled up, because cooldown is reduced by Sabrina's turn + stage advancement. Even so, I've since moved Shaina to triple fight which I do prefer, but it would be harder for some people to make that set I think. Eventually I'd like to update the dungeon videos (I have a much better necro team now).
hey, just wanted to say that dragon boss oes have 69% res, so you need 55%(54% w/e) acc to hit the limit, so 30% on the twins and not 15, nice job for the video tho :D

Good lord I wish i could build my mons with 200+ CD, 2K+ atk, and still enough CR and speed to be effective. This is my goal team though. I have em all, they're all 6*, but can't get that damage output. Guess I'll go farm more
Yeah it does take a while to get good enough runes. But keep in mind that your slowest monster only has to be ~125spd on DB10 (I'm not sure the exact, but around there). Also, the only monster that needs the huge CD is Talia, and she's on rage, so that gives an extra 40cd. Hopefully you're closer than you think you are! :)
@@TheHigherFury That makes sense. But it also means you're close :) Because Lyn can have total garbage runes as long as they have CR and CD on them. You could do 6 different sets if you had to hehe. It's the Julie who you'll have to work on, she's the engine of the team ofc.
Hi Sean, there's a few options with similar rune quality. Luna is obviously the best. A 2nd Lyn can work. Kro or Brandia are big hitters. Sigmarus might do the trick. Yeah I just don't have that many slow runes, but they don't need to be that fast :). The minimum speed is 135 combat speed for DB10, which is 135 after speed tower. Tour slowest monster must be 135. Hi Rekiloxe, in *theory* I think Deva might work. She has the same AOE / stun, and you still get def brk from Sabrina. Your Sabrina's accuracy would need to be raised to 54%+ tho since she becomes your only defense breaker. I didn't test that team and can't make promises. A semi-educated guess is that switching Shaina for Deva would yield a better "best time" because she does more damage, but you also run the risk of the occasional fail or super slow run because you have less defense break.

Heya Lyrok, thanks for the comments and support! :) The optimizer does not cost anything to use - Aced It Gaming has a great video on how to set it up here: ruclips.net/video/mC0IfGJS6MM/видео.html The requirement to force Shaina to use S2 is that Julie does at least 70% damage to all monsters in the waves. Once you have the optimizer set up, follow the instructions in the DB10 video, and get her damage to about 2600 per hit (or was it 2550? it's been a while since I did the math, but it's definitely shown in the video) and she'll hit that magic 70% damage total, forcing Shaina to clear the waves :)
LOL yeah Lyn does derp a lot. But the nice thing (for me) with this team is usually even with the Lyn derps it still tends to clear at around 32-33sec, and when Lyn doesn't derp it comes in around 25s. If only I had Luna...
can i ask why you put your damage runes on talia in this comp. wouldnt it be wiser to have them on sabrina to ensure the boss is below 50% (without lyn) as she moves three times guarantueed (shaina, herself, talia) which would significantly increase the amount of damage you deliver to the dragon.
Heya Lich, TBH I'm not sure it matters that much which way you go with Sabrina (though I think Talia on rage is important). With that said, here was my reasoning: * Violent gives extra chances to land defense break on both mid- and final boss before Talia goes * Sabrina's multipliers are lower than Talia's (540% s2 vs. 760% + 50% damage S3) so she benefits less * Talia should be on rage because there's a much lower rune requirement to ensure the boss dies (she'd work on violent, but you'd need to use better runes) My guess (and this is only an untested guess) is that Sabrina on rage would get a faster "best time" but reduce average or consistency by a tiny, tiny bit - but the outcome would be pretty close to the same either both ways :)
@@XennialGamer While you are correct with the multipliers, this only applies if you have two sabrinas. with talia attacking three times total, her total damage output is already higher than sabrinas with higher multipliers as for sabrina it is only a 1 time guarantueed attack and the second time being a 50:50 chance which gives talia an advantage. Also, aren't multipliers per hit? because chaks hit twice, which is why they have lower stats and multipliers. not entirely sure on that last part tho.
@@crkTyphoon You're completely correct that the proc rate is only 22%. I definitely don't rely on procs, I just call it "derp protection." For the multipliers, to be specific, Sabrina is 180%*3, while. Talia is 380%*2, I just gave the totals :p Please bear in mind I haven't tested, so this is only speculation. But you got me curious :p I ran the numbers in SWOP and if I matched Talia's exact same rage set on Sabrina, then Sabrina would do an additional ~1200 damage with her S1, and an extra ~1900 damage (total) with her S2. Without getting too complex, let's just say she uses her S2 exactly 50% of the time on auto. That would mean an extra 3600 damage half the time, and an extra 4300 half the time, for an average of 3950 additional damage per fight (boss stage), or about 2.3% of the boss's total health on average. In violent, let's say she'll proc 25% of the time (rounding to account for multi-procs and make the math easy), and let's further assume she is again 50/50 to use S1 or S2. That is 8628 damage on the S1, and 13704 damage on the S2, for an average of 11,166 per proc, or 2,791.5 additional damage per fight, or 1.64% of the boss's health. So in effect, matching Talia's rage set on Sabrina would be a net increase of 0.7% boss health on scale. The real question then becomes - how often is that 0.7% a difference maker, and does it make more of a difference than the "derp protection" for additional defense breaks. I honestly don't know. My best guess is that the 0.7% won't make a big difference that often - but that the derp protection won't make a difference either. To me, the options are so close it boils down to what runes you have available without disrupting other monsters :p But .. that's just my opinion, it's a very valid argument for rage on Sabrina as well.
@@XennialGamer I would be very curious to see if those few percents would make the team safer or maybe even faster. Sometimes a single HP can make a difference (arena taught anc continues to teach me that lesson over and over again, especially RTA and Unicorns :D)
@@crkTyphoon Ohhh yeah that 1hp can definitely matter at times! :p But I'm pretty sure this team has never wiped for me in thousands of runs, so it would primarily be a question of average and top speeds - it would require logging a few hundred runs in each build tho to be sure LOL.

Jason Bowles has done a bunch of testing and posted his results in-depth in a comment near the top of the thread. I haven't tested, so this is just my guess - but can probably use a Luna, a second Talia, Sigmarus, or other big damage dealer (either from huge multiplier or because it scales to enemy max hp) to replace Lyn, the light Amazon warrior. However, except for maybe Luna, the rune requirements for all of them will probably be higher. For Shaina (fire chakram) I think Deva might work (light Chakram) but I'm not 100% sure.
i’m just starting to get into speed teams for db10 and i have sabrina thalia and shaina built but i haven’t gotten lyn or julie yet. any ideas for substitutes for those 2
You might get away with running something similar without Lyn, but you can't really run this type of team without Julie unfortunately. An alternative team is something like Galleon, Shaina, Sabrina, Kro, Talia (in that turn order), though it'll likely average 15 seconds slower. Kro is replaceable there with a 2nd Talia or other major water nukers. If you have really good runes, you can also use Lushen, Galleon, Shaina, Sabrina, Talia, but there's a lot more RNG there because Lushen has attribute disadvantage - so it'll give you faster times but some fails. Loren can also work in some of those teams :)

@@ryandanbrook4053 So I just remembered the team I used before Julie. It was (in order) Galleon, Shaina, Raoq, Sabrina, Talia. The team was 99%+ stable with a best time of 29sec, and an average of perhaps 38-42sec, around there. But I don't really remember the rune quality now. Should be similar-ish to the team in this video though. (I had also tested Lushen in place of Galleon - with Lushen the team was a little faster, but a little less stable). Using the team you mentioned with Kro should probably work as well, but it would be very slow to clear the waves. I could see the occasional fail coming too if Shaina derped, especially if your monsters weren't tanky enough. Minimum "combat speed" is 136 for the slowest monster against the dragon. That's the minimum speed for any team you use :) "Combat speed" is your speed after accounting for towers and leader skills (tho no speed lead in that team).
@@ryandanbrook4053 At the end it was 4 vio sets (everyone but Talia, who was on rage). However I ran the same team in the beginning with just 2 vio sets (Shaina was on fatal and Raoq was on 3x2 sets) and it worked as well, just a hair slower.
@@zen5818 I agree 100% :p The only time I ever thumbs down is if I think the video is trolling or abusive. But I think a lot of people don't know how important likes/comments/subs are to creators. Honestly, I didn't know myself until I started doing this, so I often didn't sub/interact in the past (now of course I try to do so often hehe).
I like your team dude, but you may optimise a bit more your Lynn, she does not need that much atk to do damage to the boss, she needs more crit dmg instead because she deals damage based on the target hp, you may go full crit rate on her and over 200dmg with hp or def in slots 2 or 4 and she will deal tons of damage, I'm telling you this because I have mine full broken sets on that way and she hits like a truck
Thanks Elias, I very much appreciate the feedback!! :) I believe I mentioned in the video that attack is just a small partof her damage, which mostly comes from cd%. When I built this team, my goal was (1) consistency and (2) using the "lowest quality" runes available to achieve that consistency, so my better runes could go to pvp mons. The thing is, Lyn isn't guaranteed to fire with her S3 unless the boss is at 30% hp or below, and if she goes with S1, the boss survives. Because of that, I prefer to use violent on her as "derp protection". That means lower cd% (and about 8,000 less damage on her S3 than I could build in a rage set). But it ultimately results in more consistency and a faster overall time :) (PS: I use the optimizer to calculate the damage per hit - this just happened to be the hardest hitting build I could make at that slower speed, i.e. without giving her premium runes)
Heya Yhusk. First off, thank you for the comment and compliment! :) And sorry to hear you don't have Lyn! But if it's any consolation, I'd happily trade my Lyn for a Luna LOL. I can't say 100% for sure since I don't have her - but I suspect that Luna is a BETTER option than Lyn, not just a viable replacement ;) I know there's a trick to speed tuning Luna, but I don't remember the specifics. If you look up Seiishizo's channel, only of the GB10 or DB10 videos gives a great, detailed explanation on speed tuning Luna. Then, if you don't have strong enough runes to clear the waves with Julie, you could just use the team from my video but the "speed gap" as explained by Seiizhizo in the speed tuning.

Yes - I don't have Luna, but I'm pretty confident that she would work in place of Lyn. Possibly even better than Lyn if speed tuned properly. I don't know the exact speed tuning mechanics since I don't have her, but Seiishizo explains it in his DB10 video if you want to look up his channel! :)
Heya Elias, it's actually 69 resist so you'd need 54 acc. Because of the multi-hitters you don't necessarily need the 54, but that would give you the greatest odds. This was one of the very first videos I made and there's a couple of things I'd do better now as I've learned more. I plan to remake this video in the near future. It's a matter of finding time (and mana resources!), as I'd like to demonstrate additional team options for people who can't match these runes and such in the update.

So it's going to be hard for me to show stat minimums for the other teams, which is one reason I haven't done the update yet. But I can at least show the older comps I used with lower rune quality and discuss them, and give people some options to test on their own :) That's the plan anyway
Unfortunately for this team there is no Julie alternative :( My team before it was about 5 seconds slower - for that one I used Galleon, Shaina, Raoq, Sabrina, Lyn/Kro (in that turn order), Shaina leader
Like 90% of her damage comes from crit damage since she scales to enemy HP, but she does get a little extra damage from attack. She doesn't need it - but she doesn't need anything else either, so may as well give it to her, unless you just have like a 30cd hp% rune or something :p
Hehe I think Vildred is from another game ;) Unfortunately, what makes the Julie teams so good is that her AI is 100%. Only monsters with a qualifier on their AI will trigger at 100%, so she's really the only one that can function in the Julie teams shown in this video. However, I did show a different team at around the 24 minute mark that works without Julie. It's slower (29 - 40seconds), but also has a much lower rune requirement and its stable :)

I think Luna would actually be an upgrade over Lyn, I just don't have her so I can't be 100% sure. It's a different type of speed tuning though. Seiishizo has a great DB10 video which uses Luna. In his video, the rune requirements for Julie are much higher - so what you'd probably want to do is watch his video to learn how to speed tune, and then go back to mine to adapt to the lower rune quality.
I'd still call those runes prety late game tho anyway nice vidéo i would have liked to see some other options instead of lyn coz i don't have one but i think i have the runes for the team so if there are alternatives i'd love to know
Thanks Big Man, I appreciate it :) FWW - I'd figure they're "late-mid-game" ... but I don't know if there's a specific definition really, a lot just has to do with your luck and drops. From a pure efficiency perspective - and I'm an end-game player of course - none of those monsters rank in my top 80 or 90, with all of the sets between 87 and 91 or 92% efficiency after all gems/grinds. Lyn is IMO the best pick for this team because all 3 of her attacks scale to enemy hp%. Alternatives would be monsters with 2 or at least 1 skill that scale to enemy hp%. Sigmarus for example, could work in her place - though without having tested, I can't promise it'll be 100% stable. Alternatively, something like Loren might work because of the boss strip and pushback. That would create stability, but make the team slower.
Unfortunately not, because Shaina derps a lot. The key to this team is that Julie doesn't derp, and if she brings the enemies below 30% health, it forces Shaina's AI to always use S2 :)
@@XennialGamer Ah, i see. Thank you. And thank you for responding! Can you help me a bit more? So i copied your team as best i could today. Everything flows smoothly, except for one thing. It seems like every other run, my talia wont use her s2 self buff before she uses her s3, there she does not finish off the boss. My turn order is correct, everyone is max skilled except for shaina. My Lyn gets the boss down to about 40-45% health with phantom crush.
@@Skinarmobonemech Yeah that's the unfortunate part about this team. Talia's AI is terrible, and that will happen which causes slower runs. The only way to get her to use her skills intelligently is to take the boss below 30%, and the only way to reliably do that is with Luna (who I don't have either). I actually just recorded an updated DB10 video, literally finished recording 5 mins ago, it'll probably go live on Tuesday. Most of the new video focuses on an end-game team with a "fat Julie" that 1-shots the waves, but I did talk more about this team and one more mid-gamers team at the end of the video as well, and discussed some of the AI limitations and also how to calculate Julie's damage in the optimizer and etc. :)

Julie doesn't have elemental advantage because crystals have neutral element. Pretty basic mistake. Not everyone knows. Julie needs 100cr same as Shaina.
You're very correct in that I said it wrong - she does not have elemental advantage on the crystals :) However, the crystals also have much lower HP and DEF and she only needs to bring them below 30% to trigger Shaina's Chakram Crush, so 85% still works and makes the rune quality a lot more attainable for most people.

It's been 2 months now so I don't honestly remember the specifics. But I'm fairly sure I ran triple fight through the optimizer and it wasn't possible for me. I have very few runes that don't have a fair chunk of speed on them, so speed tuning into a slower team like this was actually my biggest challenge.
Ouch yeah the twins are so helpful! :( I'm working on a new NB10 team that's a bit faster (it's actually slower top speed but faster avg time) than my old one, but also requires twins + pierrets :/.
LOL man that's crazy, Lucifer not Lyn. Gz on Lucifer though, he's actually really good. Not sure your stage of the game, so this may not be possible - but if you have any chance of making it to G1 on a rush in arena, keep your eye on the weekly rewards. Lyn pops up as a guardian reward some cycles, so you can save crystals and rush in those weeks to get her. If that's not something you can reach, then I just hope you pull her from a normal scroll soon!!! I do plan to do an update to this video in the next couple of weeks. Maybe I'll film it on FRR when I can mess around with a lot of runes, and see if I can demonstrate some alternatives :) Though unfortunately, most alternatives will have a higher rune requirement i think.
@@XennialGamer I'm only C2 so far. Got pretty decent timing in dungeons(gb10 - 26 sec, db10 - 33, nb10 - 32) but I believe I can improve it with Lynn. As for Lucifer - he is actually insane in PVE. It wasn't obvious for me but he increases damage by 50% not for only himself but for the whole team. He boosted my rift beasts results from A+ - SS results to stable SSS(from 5.5kk on wind beast to 8.4kk on fire)
Unfortunately he's probably not for this particular team, without insane rune quality. I think something like Shaina, Galleon, Sabrina, Kro, Talia (in that turn order) would work though. It'll be slower, probably ~30-33sec best time and ~40sec average, but stable as long as you speed tune properly and have reasonably decent damage sets and at least 60-70k effective hp
@@haroldliriano5394 Yes probably - variations on the verde khali team are common. That team doesn't sound super reliable to me though, because neither Kro nor Raoq is 100% def break. I could see some derps - maybe not to the fail level (depending upon runes) but to be very slow. Without Julie, you could try something like Shaina, Raoq, Sabrina, Lyn, Talia (in that turn order, with Shaina as lead). That team ran mid-30s average for me, with a low of 29s.

Awww sorry Senpai :( I hope you get them soon. For this specific team, Shaina is sort of replaceable with Deva (it makes it a higher rune quality requirement) and Lyn is somewhat replaceable with other rare monsters like Luna. But Julie isn't replaceable at all. Lots of other good 35-40sec DB10 teams out there while you wait for good draws though, good luck!
Hi Cyrus, unfortunately for this team, Julie is pretty much required :( The other monsters you might be able to sub out with higher quality runes, but the team is designed around the fact that Julie's AI is 100% predictable, and (as far as I know) she's the only AOE monster in the game with that 100% predictability :(. But you might try something like (in this turn order) Shaina, Raoq, Sabrina, Talia, Lyn. That was my old team and averaged ~35sec with a best time of 29sec.
I've done probably five to ten thousand runs with this team and it's only failed a couple of times. When Lyn derps the run can go 35-40sec, when she doesn't derp it'll hit 25-26sec. Overall average is about 31sec I think.
Not much you can do without the right mons unfortunately :/. But just remember that the only monster that has to reach "those levels" of damage is Julie. They can also have less speed (see the pinned comment). Hopefully you pull the monsters soon!
nonsense, I have been playing for 3 years, still i have no lyn, the runes are definitely not a mid-game, good runes from necro and twins its not a mid-game...
Mid-game is the longest stretch of the game. Those are more like mid-mid or late-mid games runes, that were not actually great starting runes - most are under 90% efficiency after being fully gemmed and grinded. They are mostly rare/hero type runes, and then have been gemmed and grinded through raid. That's the big key, is the raiding - if you can't R5 yet, you can always R3 :) Also important to note is that the monsters are far faster than they need to be. If you drop about 35-40 speed from each monster, the team works the exact same, but the rune efficiency drops to under 85% or lower. This was one of my first videos, and I plan to do an update to this video and make the point that the runes I have were the lowest quality I had available, but are still a little more powerful than is necessary to build the team.
This may not be g3 runes but are still almost end game runes.. How a mid game is supposed to have those stats ?? And even the team isn't something that anyone has.. This video is just to show how your team is fast cause anyone who can have those kind of stats on their monsters, don't need a tutorial to db10..
I understand your frustration Enex, but they're definitely not end-game runes. Mid-game is the longest stretch of the game by far, and should be broken into (at least) 3 parts by itself. These are somewhere between mid-mid game and late-mid game runes - these monsters all rank outside my top 100 sets in rune quality. All the rune sets are below 90% efficiency, and would be closer to 85% if you removed the unnecessary speed. The higher atk% stats come from regular raiding, which is something most people move into in that "mid-mid game" stage, and the more you raid the more you can grind and then re-grind stats to get the maximum stats added to a rune. This team does not require the monsters to be fast or tanky, only to have high damage output, so it's also a specific type of rune - but one that you'll pick up over time, and should have a bunch of long before you reach end-game. I'm sorry you felt disappointed by the video, but I hope you'll be able to build this team eventually :)
Mid game is the longest part of the game.. this team should run on like "late mid-game runes" basically the runes you have once you've started farming R5. The rune sets on my team are all around 88-91% efficiency, and honestly you could run this team at a much lower efficiency, as they don't need that much speed.
Hi Maerdx.. if it helps - you only need the slowest monster to have about +20 speed (specifically it needs a combat speed of 135.01+). My monsters are faster because I just didn't have any runes without speed. But this team would still work well if any monsters EXCEPT Julie had a little less damage than mine does. The only one that has a hard "floor" for damage is Julie. And the only monster I have with over 200cd is Talia, but she's in rage :p
LOL.. so the thing is, mid game is a VERY long part of the game. Not all mid-gamers have those runes. But honestly they aren't like super OP, most of the rune sets are at or under 90% efficiency. And that's including a lot of speed that isn't needed at all for DB10. Once you've been doing R5 regularly (which to me is the later part of mid-game) you should be able to build this team :)

I don’t have a fire two but I have Deva is she a good replacement? Right now I’m using Fran, deva, water twins, and Loren right now it’s 50/50 so frustrating especially with the event going on right now!
I haven't tested with Deva. In theory, she should work in place of Shaina (the fire one). Again this is just theory, but a few things that might change:: * Deva would probably need more offense than Shaina does now, plus 100% cr, but not as much ACC. * If the mid-boss doesn't get cleared in 1 rotation of monsters, then you may need to reverse speed tuning to where Sabrina goes before Deva. This would allow more chances for the mid-boss to be defense broken, setting you up for the larger damage Deva does. * Sabrina would need an extra 25% accuracy, since she won't benefit from the Shaina passive * All monsters might need a little extra attack, since you won't benefit from the Shaina leader skill (I can't remember offhand what Deva's was changed to in the nerf - so if it's the same as Shaina, then disregard this point)

I'm glad to see you responding to comments and actually talking to your viewers. Your rift beast guides helped me achieve new high scores during the last FRR and I am thankful for that. I've been farming giants the past few months but the mana payoff is way less than in dragons so I plan to build a db10 team that would match my giants team's speed and consistency and I found your guide somewhat achievable with the current runes that I have (I have to say I'm still early mid game) but I would have to sacrifice some of my other dungeon team's runes, but I guess that should be fine given that once I start farming dragons I would end up focusing all farming there anyway. lol I still don't have access to the optimizer atm but I think I can manually match my stats with yours (or at least try to) to achieve a similar result. Really awesome that you can make this team :) One thing to keep in mind is that you can use an extremely similar team for NB10. I have a vide on that team - it's pretty much just add a quality lushen with speed tuning and then add a shihwa or abigail with any random crap runes that are speed tuned.
For GB10 you can also use the Julie, Sabrina and Talia, along with that same Lushen, and then just add in a Sophia with max acc and max cr and then whatever additonal damage you can (there's a video on that team too).
I've also built a new, faster necro team that uses these same monsters tho the rune requirement is maybe a bit higher. I'll be doing a vide on that soon.
Anyway - point being, I'd say it's worth making the DB10 team and then working on building out the others since it's only a few extra monsters ;) Good luck!

I actually felt like crap realizing I've wasted like 3 of the 4 years I've been playing this game on not focusing on farming and now on my 4th year I've reassessed my rune quality and it seems like I'm back to square one. My only advantage is I was able to max out my towers so building these teams are just a bit easier compared to if I try to build them on a new account. @@bambooranada Hehehe I'm really glad I can help. It's one awesome thing about the game - there's always thousands of players "at your level" no matter what level you're at. And thousands more "a little ahead of you" and "a little ahead of them" and so on. So we can constantly test overselves without having to dive straight into the deep end. At the end of the day, the goal is really just to have fun. Whether that fun is from farming, progressing, seeing cool new animations (tmogs), theorycrafting, other stuff, or some mix of everything doesn't matter. As long as you're enjoying your time it's worthwhile! :)

I was happy to see this, I immediately clicked on this video because i had hard time clearing DB10 even though I am already in the mid-game, i had a team that could clear the stage for 1:30 - 1:50 mins. but can't clear consistently. When i saw the runes that you showed us, I lost hope, your Julie even have better runes than my Lushen. But still thank you for showing us how you runed your team, I'm hoping i could get that kind of stats and runes :D
Yeah this is definitely a "late-mid-game" team but hard to put that level of detail in a title hehe. Julie's runes are hard to make, the others I have in here don't need to be as beefy as I have them if that helps - but Julie definitely does.

@@XennialGamer i changed the runes of my team, i had a hard time finding runes for them that could get the stats of my teams closer to yours, but my only problem was the speed, cause my twins are now slower, the mid boss outspeed me, thank you very much I didn't know that the minimum speed needed was 25, i really need this info :D
i have a last question, could i use Kro instead of Lynn? cause i don't have a Lynn, but I doubt that Kro could replace Lynn since he's very dependent on debuffs, I don't know any other monsters that could replace Lynn
@@leomarbarade6727 Yeah.. this was about the 2nd video I did. I wish I'd spoken more about speed in it, it's a learning process to make better videos hehe. So for this particular team, you can probably use Kro instead of Lyn, but (I'm only guessing) you might wind up needing some more hp, because if Kro derps then the fight might last longer. You could also try some other nukers such as Raoq or Sigmarus, same thing, you just might need a bit more hp if you're failing.
I think my old team was Shaina, Galleon, Sabrina, Lyn, Talia - in that team, you can replace Lyn for a different nuker more easily, it just is a bit sloiwer also.

But if you can't manage the damage, then some hp offsets make the team stable it just takes longer. this is definitely not mid-game runes.... I would say they are close to end-game rune or G2-3 tiers runes.... Or else you would be shaming us, mid-gamers. But still thank for the wonderful advice and I will try to reach close to these stats and also to spd tune them as you just said.
You're very welcome, and I hope you're able to build the team sooner rather than later! :) Remember, slower runes are totally fine, plus you can have less damage and cr on Shaina and Sabrina. You also don't have to use all the violent runes - even triple two-sets for Sabrina and Shaina are fine, the only monster that "must" be how it is is Julie.
Also, FWW I agee, it's definitely not "early mid game" runes, but should be reachable for most players by later-mid-game when you're doing r5 regularly. These rune sets average about 89% efficiency on average, but 85% average sets would probably do the trick - for point of reference, as a late game player my top 50 monsters average 98% or so.

@@thedarkneon4447 Haha I stand by these being mid-game runes. But mid game is the by far the longest part of the game, and by itself is at least 3 stages. So these teams aren't necessarily "ALL" mid-game runes. But they're runes you should be able to easily match once you're raiding regularly and before you move out of mid-game...
From an efficiency perspective, none of these sets are over 90-91%, while my end-game PVP monsters are all between 99 and 105%. And that's C3/G1 level quality runes in RTA - the G3 players are at 115%+.
this is definitely not endgame or g2/g3 runes. End game runes are over 100% efficiency, there are g3 players with units runed at 110%+ avg efficiency. 85-90% efficiency runes are basically between blue/purple quality and grinded/gemmed. Definitely mid/latemid game runes.

PLEASE NOTE:
1. Boss resistance is 69%, not 55% as I said in the video. So accuracy targets are 54% (Sabrina) and 29% (Shaina). HOWEVER, if you have enough damage and effective hp, then lower accuracy would just result in maybe a 1-3 second slower average run.
2. Your slowest monster only needs a combat speed of 135.01+ (which is about +20 speed with max speed towers.) My runes are faster because that's what I had, but the only thing you need to match is the damage output.
3. Alternatives to Lyn: I haven't tested any, so can't promise - but generally you need monsters that can CONSISTENTLY hit hard and act in the 4th position. Best bets will be Luna, or water monsters with multiple attacks that scale to enemy's max HP damage. If your runes are good enough, a 2nd Talia will work also. Please read the comments from @Jason Bowles below, as he tested quite a few options.

regarding optimizer: you do not need to count in the leaderskills + fight runes, there is a field for how many fight sets you got, bellow the place where you enter your wished runesets, extend it. :-)

You can rune Lyn on slot 2/4/6 on Hp, crit damage, hp and she will do the 40k without atk. At least she survive the dragons hit if the dragon moves.
For sure... 90-95% of Lyn's damage comes from crit damage. The atk adds just a tiny bit. You can also use resistance runes (nice in GB10) or any other kind of runes. But if she can survive the hit using attack runes, it's always nice to have more damage too ;).

LOL, yeah I always want to do that too :p But while I don't know the mechanics of the optimizer, I suspect that the weighting impacts the initial rune selection it analyzes, so it's often worth running the optimizer a few times with different weightings because putting everything to max might (for example) cause it to ignore a slot 1 rune that happens to have 25cd but "only" 13 atk. So I try not to over-adjust the weighting except if I know it's "all or nothing" - for ex. I might move spd on Bastet to 2.5 or 3.0, or I might actually run the optimizer 2-3 times, once at 2, 2.5 and 3.0.
Btw. Julie does actually need 100 cr because the crystals are light attribute, not fire

You're definitely right, I said it wrong in the video, Julie doesn't have attrib advantage on the crystals. However, their hp and def are much lower than the rest of the wave, so she doesn't actually need the 100cr to trigger Shaina's Chakram Crush - and going for the 85cr makes the rune requirement much more attainable for most people :)

For now, you might want to check out Sean B's video using Loren. I think that's a more fighter-friendly team, with lower rune requirements. When I tested it, it ran closer to 45sec, but it was very stable.
Heya Xennila! Love your content as always. I was curious about the Shaina passive you mentioned. It reads as if Sabrina only has to be in the team to benefit from Shain's passive. So she'd only need 15 acc even if attacking without Shaina. What is your understanding of this?
Heya James, thanks man! So you're reading the passive correct - however, I pinned a note to this video a while back I kinda messed up the infographics there. Basically the boss has 69% resist. Since you cannot bring him below 15%, you need 54% accuracy. With Shaina's passive, that means Shaina and Sabrina need 29% accuracy for "maximum opportunity".

Based on the damage you did with your julie and her stats, I think I have a set of runes that could wipe the waves.... IF I had leveled my arena towers....

Hahaha.. yeah the arena towers are tedious. But if you can fully wipe the waves, then Seiishizo's team is the way to go :p Where this one is like 26-36, I think his is like 23-29. If I could've gotten Julie's damage high enough I'd have gone that route :p

Side note: There's a derp clearing on 3/4 stage when Shaina on vio.
1st - Julie AOE > Shaina Clears (uses AOE)
2nd Mini Drag - Julie attacks > Shaina (normal attacks) ***if she procs vio she'll be using AOE*** which you need to clear for 3/4
If this happens Talia uses the necessary skills for the boss stage because she takes a turn on 3/4 stage
Isn't it better for Shaina to not to have vio for faster clearing time? Though what you've said it's for a derp protection it still bugs me to see Shaina procs.

Heya Jor - I see what you're saying, but it'll be covered as long as Shaina is skilled up, because cooldown is reduced by Sabrina's turn + stage advancement.
Even so, I've since moved Shaina to triple fight which I do prefer, but it would be harder for some people to make that set I think. Eventually I'd like to update the dungeon videos (I have a much better necro team now).
hey, just wanted to say that dragon boss oes have 69% res, so you need 55%(54% w/e) acc to hit the limit, so 30% on the twins and not 15, nice job for the video tho :D

Good lord I wish i could build my mons with 200+ CD, 2K+ atk, and still enough CR and speed to be effective. This is my goal team though. I have em all, they're all 6*, but can't get that damage output. Guess I'll go farm more
Yeah it does take a while to get good enough runes. But keep in mind that your slowest monster only has to be ~125spd on DB10 (I'm not sure the exact, but around there). Also, the only monster that needs the huge CD is Talia, and she's on rage, so that gives an extra 40cd. Hopefully you're closer than you think you are! :)

Hi Sean, there's a few options with similar rune quality. Luna is obviously the best. A 2nd Lyn can work. Kro or Brandia are big hitters. Sigmarus might do the trick. There's some other teams you can run also that are slightly slower but stable too if speed tuned right :)

Yeah I just don't have that many slow runes, but they don't need to be that fast :).
The minimum speed is 135 combat speed for DB10, which is 135 after speed tower. Tour slowest monster must be 135. I just did an updated DB10 video which shows off several teams including this one, and I discuss speed tuning a lot more in it :) ruclips.net/video/UFnyCU1o064/видео.html

Hi Rekiloxe, in *theory* I think Deva might work. She has the same AOE / stun, and you still get def brk from Sabrina. Your Sabrina's accuracy would need to be raised to 54%+ tho since she becomes your only defense breaker.
I didn't test that team and can't make promises. A semi-educated guess is that switching Shaina for Deva would yield a better "best time" because she does more damage, but you also run the risk of the occasional fail or super slow run because you have less defense break.

The requirement to force Shaina to use S2 is that Julie does at least 70% damage to all monsters in the waves. Once you have the optimizer set up, follow the instructions in the DB10 video, and get her damage to about 2600 per hit (or was it 2550? it's been a while since I did the math, but it's definitely shown in the video) and she'll hit that magic 70% damage total, forcing Shaina to clear the waves :)

LOL yeah Lyn does derp a lot. But the nice thing (for me) with this team is usually even with the Lyn derps it still tends to clear at around 32-33sec, and when Lyn doesn't derp it comes in around 25s. If only I had Luna...
can i ask why you put your damage runes on talia in this comp. wouldnt it be wiser to have them on sabrina to ensure the boss is below 50% (without lyn) as she moves three times guarantueed (shaina, herself, talia) which would significantly increase the amount of damage you deliver to the dragon.
Heya Lich, TBH I'm not sure it matters that much which way you go with Sabrina (though I think Talia on rage is important). With that said, here was my reasoning:
* Violent gives extra chances to land defense break on both mid- and final boss before Talia goes
* Sabrina's multipliers are lower than Talia's (540% s2 vs. 760% + 50% damage S3) so she benefits less
* Talia should be on rage because there's a much lower rune requirement to ensure the boss dies (she'd work on violent, but you'd need to use better runes)
My guess (and this is only an untested guess) is that Sabrina on rage would get a faster "best time" but reduce average or consistency by a tiny, tiny bit - but the outcome would be pretty close to the same either both ways :)
@@XennialGamer While you are correct with the multipliers, this only applies if you have two sabrinas. with talia attacking three times total, her total damage output is already higher than sabrinas with higher multipliers as for sabrina it is only a 1 time guarantueed attack and the second time being a 50:50 chance which gives talia an advantage.
Also, aren't multipliers per hit?
because chaks hit twice, which is why they have lower stats and multipliers.
not entirely sure on that last part tho.
@@crkTyphoon You're completely correct that the proc rate is only 22%. I definitely don't rely on procs, I just call it "derp protection." For the multipliers, to be specific, Sabrina is 180%*3, while. Talia is 380%*2, I just gave the totals :p
Please bear in mind I haven't tested, so this is only speculation. But you got me curious :p
I ran the numbers in SWOP and if I matched Talia's exact same rage set on Sabrina, then Sabrina would do an additional ~1200 damage with her S1, and an extra ~1900 damage (total) with her S2. Without getting too complex, let's just say she uses her S2 exactly 50% of the time on auto. That would mean an extra 3600 damage half the time, and an extra 4300 half the time, for an average of 3950 additional damage per fight (boss stage), or about 2.3% of the boss's total health on average.
In violent, let's say she'll proc 25% of the time (rounding to account for multi-procs and make the math easy), and let's further assume she is again 50/50 to use S1 or S2. That is 8628 damage on the S1, and 13704 damage on the S2, for an average of 11,166 per proc, or 2,791.5 additional damage per fight, or 1.64% of the boss's health.
So in effect, matching Talia's rage set on Sabrina would be a net increase of 0.7% boss health on scale. The real question then becomes - how often is that 0.7% a difference maker, and does it make more of a difference than the "derp protection" for additional defense breaks.
I honestly don't know. My best guess is that the 0.7% won't make a big difference that often - but that the derp protection won't make a difference either. To me, the options are so close it boils down to what runes you have available without disrupting other monsters :p But .. that's just my opinion, it's a very valid argument for rage on Sabrina as well.
@@XennialGamer I would be very curious to see if those few percents would make the team safer or maybe even faster. Sometimes a single HP can make a difference (arena taught anc continues to teach me that lesson over and over again, especially RTA and Unicorns :D)
@@crkTyphoon Ohhh yeah that 1hp can definitely matter at times! :p But I'm pretty sure this team has never wiped for me in thousands of runs, so it would primarily be a question of average and top speeds - it would require logging a few hundred runs in each build tho to be sure LOL.

Jason Bowles has done a bunch of testing and posted his results in-depth in a comment near the top of the thread.
I haven't tested, so this is just my guess - but can probably use a Luna, a second Talia, Sigmarus, or other big damage dealer (either from huge multiplier or because it scales to enemy max hp) to replace Lyn, the light Amazon warrior. However, except for maybe Luna, the rune requirements for all of them will probably be higher.
For Shaina (fire chakram) I think Deva might work (light Chakram) but I'm not 100% sure.

i’m just starting to get into speed teams for db10 and i have sabrina thalia and shaina built but i haven’t gotten lyn or julie yet. any ideas for substitutes for those 2
You might get away with running something similar without Lyn, but you can't really run this type of team without Julie unfortunately.
An alternative team is something like Galleon, Shaina, Sabrina, Kro, Talia (in that turn order), though it'll likely average 15 seconds slower. Kro is replaceable there with a 2nd Talia or other major water nukers. If you have really good runes, you can also use Lushen, Galleon, Shaina, Sabrina, Talia, but there's a lot more RNG there because Lushen has attribute disadvantage - so it'll give you faster times but some fails. Loren can also work in some of those teams :)

@@ryandanbrook4053 So I just remembered the team I used before Julie. It was (in order) Galleon, Shaina, Raoq, Sabrina, Talia. The team was 99%+ stable with a best time of 29sec, and an average of perhaps 38-42sec, around there. But I don't really remember the rune quality now. Should be similar-ish to the team in this video though. (I had also tested Lushen in place of Galleon - with Lushen the team was a little faster, but a little less stable).
Using the team you mentioned with Kro should probably work as well, but it would be very slow to clear the waves. I could see the occasional fail coming too if Shaina derped, especially if your monsters weren't tanky enough.
Minimum "combat speed" is 136 for the slowest monster against the dragon. That's the minimum speed for any team you use :) "Combat speed" is your speed after accounting for towers and leader skills (tho no speed lead in that team).

@@ryandanbrook4053 At the end it was 4 vio sets (everyone but Talia, who was on rage). However I ran the same team in the beginning with just 2 vio sets (Shaina was on fatal and Raoq was on 3x2 sets) and it worked as well, just a hair slower.

I like your team dude, but you may optimise a bit more your Lynn, she does not need that much atk to do damage to the boss, she needs more crit dmg instead because she deals damage based on the target hp, you may go full crit rate on her and over 200dmg with hp or def in slots 2 or 4 and she will deal tons of damage, I'm telling you this because I have mine full broken sets on that way and she hits like a truck
Thanks Elias, I very much appreciate the feedback!! :) I believe I mentioned in the video that attack is just a small partof her damage, which mostly comes from cd%. When I built this team, my goal was (1) consistency and (2) using the "lowest quality" runes available to achieve that consistency, so my better runes could go to pvp mons.
The thing is, Lyn isn't guaranteed to fire with her S3 unless the boss is at 30% hp or below, and if she goes with S1, the boss survives. Because of that, I prefer to use violent on her as "derp protection". That means lower cd% (and about 8,000 less damage on her S3 than I could build in a rage set). But it ultimately results in more consistency and a faster overall time :)
(PS: I use the optimizer to calculate the damage per hit - this just happened to be the hardest hitting build I could make at that slower speed, i.e. without giving her premium runes)

Heya Yhusk. First off, thank you for the comment and compliment! :) And sorry to hear you don't have Lyn! But if it's any consolation, I'd happily trade my Lyn for a Luna LOL. I can't say 100% for sure since I don't have her - but I suspect that Luna is a BETTER option than Lyn, not just a viable replacement ;)
I know there's a trick to speed tuning Luna, but I don't remember the specifics. If you look up Seiishizo's channel, only of the GB10 or DB10 videos gives a great, detailed explanation on speed tuning Luna. Then, if you don't have strong enough runes to clear the waves with Julie, you could just use the team from my video but the "speed gap" as explained by Seiizhizo in the speed tuning.

Yes - I don't have Luna, but I'm pretty confident that she would work in place of Lyn. Possibly even better than Lyn if speed tuned properly. I don't know the exact speed tuning mechanics since I don't have her, but Seiishizo explains it in his DB10 video if you want to look up his channel! :)

Heya Elias, it's actually 69 resist so you'd need 54 acc. Because of the multi-hitters you don't necessarily need the 54, but that would give you the greatest odds.
This was one of the very first videos I made and there's a couple of things I'd do better now as I've learned more. I plan to remake this video in the near future. It's a matter of finding time (and mana resources!), as I'd like to demonstrate additional team options for people who can't match these runes and such in the update.

@@eliasspeelman5075 Yeah unfortunately these are about the lowest quality runes I have (obviously high on attack, but low efficiency). So it's going to be hard for me to show stat minimums for the other teams, which is one reason I haven't done the update yet. But I can at least show the older comps I used with lower rune quality and discuss them, and give people some options to test on their own :) That's the plan anyway

Unfortunately for this team there is no Julie alternative :( My team before it was about 5 seconds slower - for that one I used Galleon, Shaina, Raoq, Sabrina, Lyn/Kro (in that turn order), Shaina leader

Like 90% of her damage comes from crit damage since she scales to enemy HP, but she does get a little extra damage from attack. She doesn't need it - but she doesn't need anything else either, so may as well give it to her, unless you just have like a 30cd hp% rune or something :p

Hehe I think Vildred is from another game ;) Unfortunately, what makes the Julie teams so good is that her AI is 100%. Only monsters with a qualifier on their AI will trigger at 100%, so she's really the only one that can function in the Julie teams shown in this video.
However, I did show a different team at around the 24 minute mark that works without Julie. It's slower (29 - 40seconds), but also has a much lower rune requirement and its stable :)

Yeah they have a lower effective hp so it does the trick, but you're right, worth mentioning! I'm planning to do an update of the video soon, as this was one of my first videos and a lot could have been done better. I will mention this in the updated video :)

Can Lyn be remplaced by a Luna?
I think Luna would actually be an upgrade over Lyn, I just don't have her so I can't be 100% sure. It's a different type of speed tuning though. Seiishizo has a great DB10 video which uses Luna. In his video, the rune requirements for Julie are much higher - so what you'd probably want to do is watch his video to learn how to speed tune, and then go back to mine to adapt to the lower rune quality.

Thanks Big Man, I appreciate it :) FWW - I'd figure they're "late-mid-game" ... but I don't know if there's a specific definition really, a lot just has to do with your luck and drops. From a pure efficiency perspective - and I'm an end-game player of course - none of those monsters rank in my top 80 or 90, with all of the sets between 87 and 91 or 92% efficiency after all gems/grinds.
Lyn is IMO the best pick for this team because all 3 of her attacks scale to enemy hp%. Alternatives would be monsters with 2 or at least 1 skill that scale to enemy hp%. Sigmarus for example, could work in her place - though without having tested, I can't promise it'll be 100% stable. Alternatively, something like Loren might work because of the boss strip and pushback. That would create stability, but make the team slower.

Unfortunately not, because Shaina derps a lot. The key to this team is that Julie doesn't derp, and if she brings the enemies below 30% health, it forces Shaina's AI to always use S2 :)

So i copied your team as best i could today. Everything flows smoothly, except for one thing. It seems like every other run, my talia wont use her s2 self buff before she uses her s3, there she does not finish off the boss. My turn order is correct, everyone is max skilled except for shaina. My Lyn gets the boss down to about 40-45% health with phantom crush.
@@Skinarmobonemech Yeah that's the unfortunate part about this team. Talia's AI is terrible, and that will happen which causes slower runs. The only way to get her to use her skills intelligently is to take the boss below 30%, and the only way to reliably do that is with Luna (who I don't have either).
I actually just recorded an updated DB10 video, literally finished recording 5 mins ago, it'll probably go live on Tuesday. Most of the new video focuses on an end-game team with a "fat Julie" that 1-shots the waves, but I did talk more about this team and one more mid-gamers team at the end of the video as well, and discussed some of the AI limitations and also how to calculate Julie's damage in the optimizer and etc. :)
@@XennialGamer Awsome. My Julie leaves the trash with about 10 hp right now, with room for a few grinds and a level 7 water tower, so 1 shot seems doable. I had to slow her down a bit compared to my first attempt. Never realized how slow these dungeon monsters are lol.

Julie doesn't have elemental advantage because crystals have neutral element. Pretty basic mistake. Not everyone knows. Julie needs 100cr same as Shaina.
You're very correct in that I said it wrong - she does not have elemental advantage on the crystals :) However, the crystals also have much lower HP and DEF and she only needs to bring them below 30% to trigger Shaina's Chakram Crush, so 85% still works and makes the rune quality a lot more attainable for most people.

Hehehe yeah it does take some to build up to this team.
One big thing to remember, you don't need as much speed either. Just so happens that was the speed of the runes I had, but less speed is OK to (+25 for the slowest monster with max towers).
Also, most people who rune Julie, her runes are better than Lushen now ;)

It's been 2 months now so I don't honestly remember the specifics. But I'm fairly sure I ran triple fight through the optimizer and it wasn't possible for me. I have very few runes that don't have a fair chunk of speed on them, so speed tuning into a slower team like this was actually my biggest challenge.

Ouch yeah the twins are so helpful! :( I'm working on a new NB10 team that's a bit faster (it's actually slower top speed but faster avg time) than my old one, but also requires twins + pierrets :/.

LOL man that's crazy, Lucifer not Lyn. Gz on Lucifer though, he's actually really good. Not sure your stage of the game, so this may not be possible - but if you have any chance of making it to G1 on a rush in arena, keep your eye on the weekly rewards. Lyn pops up as a guardian reward some cycles, so you can save crystals and rush in those weeks to get her.
If that's not something you can reach, then I just hope you pull her from a normal scroll soon!!! I do plan to do an update to this video in the next couple of weeks. Maybe I'll film it on FRR when I can mess around with a lot of runes, and see if I can demonstrate some alternatives :) Though unfortunately, most alternatives will have a higher rune requirement i think.
@@XennialGamer I'm only C2 so far. Got pretty decent timing in dungeons(gb10 - 26 sec, db10 - 33, nb10 - 32) but I believe I can improve it with Lynn.
As for Lucifer - he is actually insane in PVE. It wasn't obvious for me but he increases damage by 50% not for only himself but for the whole team. He boosted my rift beasts results from A+ - SS results to stable SSS(from 5.5kk on wind beast to 8.4kk on fire)

Unfortunately he's probably not for this particular team, without insane rune quality. I think something like Shaina, Galleon, Sabrina, Kro, Talia (in that turn order) would work though. It'll be slower, probably ~30-33sec best time and ~40sec average, but stable as long as you speed tune properly and have reasonably decent damage sets and at least 60-70k effective hp

@@haroldliriano5394 Yes probably - variations on the verde khali team are common. That team doesn't sound super reliable to me though, because neither Kro nor Raoq is 100% def break. I could see some derps - maybe not to the fail level (depending upon runes) but to be very slow. Without Julie, you could try something like Shaina, Raoq, Sabrina, Lyn, Talia (in that turn order, with Shaina as lead). That team ran mid-30s average for me, with a low of 29s.

Awww sorry Senpai :( I hope you get them soon. For this specific team, Shaina is sort of replaceable with Deva (it makes it a higher rune quality requirement) and Lyn is somewhat replaceable with other rare monsters like Luna. But Julie isn't replaceable at all. Lots of other good 35-40sec DB10 teams out there while you wait for good draws though, good luck!

Hi Cyrus, unfortunately for this team, Julie is pretty much required :( The other monsters you might be able to sub out with higher quality runes, but the team is designed around the fact that Julie's AI is 100% predictable, and (as far as I know) she's the only AOE monster in the game with that 100% predictability :(.
But you might try something like (in this turn order) Shaina, Raoq, Sabrina, Talia, Lyn. That was my old team and averaged ~35sec with a best time of 29sec.

This build still fail because of lyn. She does use skill 1 2 fase.
I've done probably five to ten thousand runs with this team and it's only failed a couple of times. When Lyn derps the run can go 35-40sec, when she doesn't derp it'll hit 25-26sec. Overall average is about 31sec I think.

Not much you can do without the right mons unfortunately :/. But just remember that the only monster that has to reach "those levels" of damage is Julie. They can also have less speed (see the pinned comment). Hopefully you pull the monsters soon!
nonsense, I have been playing for 3 years, still i have no lyn, the runes are definitely not a mid-game, good runes from necro and twins its not a mid-game...
Mid-game is the longest stretch of the game. Those are more like mid-mid or late-mid games runes, that were not actually great starting runes - most are under 90% efficiency after being fully gemmed and grinded. They are mostly rare/hero type runes, and then have been gemmed and grinded through raid. That's the big key, is the raiding - if you can't R5 yet, you can always R3 :)
Also important to note is that the monsters are far faster than they need to be. If you drop about 35-40 speed from each monster, the team works the exact same, but the rune efficiency drops to under 85% or lower.
This was one of my first videos, and I plan to do an update to this video and make the point that the runes I have were the lowest quality I had available, but are still a little more powerful than is necessary to build the team.
This may not be g3 runes but are still almost end game runes.. How a mid game is supposed to have those stats ?? And even the team isn't something that anyone has.. This video is just to show how your team is fast cause anyone who can have those kind of stats on their monsters, don't need a tutorial to db10..
I understand your frustration Enex, but they're definitely not end-game runes. Mid-game is the longest stretch of the game by far, and should be broken into (at least) 3 parts by itself. These are somewhere between mid-mid game and late-mid game runes - these monsters all rank outside my top 100 sets in rune quality. All the rune sets are below 90% efficiency, and would be closer to 85% if you removed the unnecessary speed.
The higher atk% stats come from regular raiding, which is something most people move into in that "mid-mid game" stage, and the more you raid the more you can grind and then re-grind stats to get the maximum stats added to a rune. This team does not require the monsters to be fast or tanky, only to have high damage output, so it's also a specific type of rune - but one that you'll pick up over time, and should have a bunch of long before you reach end-game.
I'm sorry you felt disappointed by the video, but I hope you'll be able to build this team eventually :)

Mid game is the longest part of the game.. this team should run on like "late mid-game runes" basically the runes you have once you've started farming R5. The rune sets on my team are all around 88-91% efficiency, and honestly you could run this team at a much lower efficiency, as they don't need that much speed.

Hi Maerdx.. if it helps - you only need the slowest monster to have about +20 speed (specifically it needs a combat speed of 135.01+).
My monsters are faster because I just didn't have any runes without speed. But this team would still work well if any monsters EXCEPT Julie had a little less damage than mine does. The only one that has a hard "floor" for damage is Julie. And the only monster I have with over 200cd is Talia, but she's in rage :p

LOL.. so the thing is, mid game is a VERY long part of the game. Not all mid-gamers have those runes. But honestly they aren't like super OP, most of the rune sets are at or under 90% efficiency. And that's including a lot of speed that isn't needed at all for DB10. Once you've been doing R5 regularly (which to me is the later part of mid-game) you should be able to build this team :)

I don’t have a fire two but I have Deva is she a good replacement? Right now I’m using Fran, deva, water twins, and Loren right now it’s 50/50 so frustrating especially with the event going on right now!
I haven't tested with Deva. In theory, she should work in place of Shaina (the fire one). Again this is just theory, but a few things that might change::
* Deva would probably need more offense than Shaina does now, plus 100% cr, but not as much ACC.
* If the mid-boss doesn't get cleared in 1 rotation of monsters, then you may need to reverse speed tuning to where Sabrina goes before Deva. This would allow more chances for the mid-boss to be defense broken, setting you up for the larger damage Deva does.
* Sabrina would need an extra 25% accuracy, since she won't benefit from the Shaina passive
* All monsters might need a little extra attack, since you won't benefit from the Shaina leader skill (I can't remember offhand what Deva's was changed to in the nerf - so if it's the same as Shaina, then disregard this point)
