Update 40 apparently increased the max nodes so that explains why it felt like the track laying progress was taking forever... and I guess also shows how much shorter this map is compared to long straight line nodes lol.

Since there’s a lot of comments on this: the direction of the spinning glaives do not matter. They're essentially visual and it's treated as an aura attack :)

5:50 fun fact: the glaive lord's peirce isn't infinite anymore, and it's actually surprisingly far from infinite now. It used to have 1000 pierce like ray of doom, but in an update that peirce was brought all the way down to 80 in favor of giving it more ceramic damage.
Glaive Lord fell off so hard (it was never that high up to begin with)

@@vwlz8637 yeah pretty much, lol. The pierce was only relevant on ceramics anyway, so the extra damage more than made up for it. But yeah, now the main glaive actually has more pierce than the aura at 100, which is funny to think about
Do ultrajugg for the next perfect map. The difference compared to on normal maps is crazy. Lots of obstacles and it would shred hugely.

Creating a ideal map for dart paragon would be pretty cool. Just a straight line or death pit with walls to prevent the spiked balls from escaping.
There is one it’s called 1TC Ultra Juggernaut which sort of has that idea going but it’s got too little space for farming or Paragon power
I think a perfect map for sentries would be interesting with limiting tower space everywhere except one area (for dps)

The least they could do for glaive lord is make the radius of the ring of glaives be a constant percentage of his total range.
That would be detrimental on many of the vanilla maps though

I think you meant integer underflow, in an overflow the value is typically equal or close to zero and here it was large. But I don't even think it was that actually, I think it got confused when changing to the village. It must calculate dps finding a difference between the pops count after a second has passed, and when ISAB selected the village it subtracted the pops count of the glaive lord from the one of the village, hence the -13M mirroring the 13M damage of the tower.

Underflow: integer goes below its minimum
The behavior depends on signed-ness. An overflow will become a large negative value if the number is signed, or 0 if the number is unsigned.
That said, the number in the video doesn't line up with either 32 or 64 bit integer limits, so it's neither an overflow nor an underflow.
I would love to see how further Glavie Lord can go on this map if fully buffed up. I might be wrong but it feels like Perma brew could give it a nice amount of extra rounds
Since you already have this circular map, it should be easy to adapt it to Tack Shooter, shouldn't it? That would be another fun one to test.
I was thinking the same thing. All 3 paths would be amazing to test.
A single circle is actually not optimal for Tack Shooter (except maybe Ring of Fire?)
What you'd want is probably actually several concentric circles to actually make use of the tacks' pierce, though I have no idea how practical that'd be in the map editor.

I know this video was made before the mermonkey was added, but the final harmonic makes glaive lord and the paragon completely broken
I want a map where ray of doom might use more than a tenth of its pierce
Another use for this map could be for Spirit of the Forest, dropping the most powerful vines to the ground.
It’s so funny to watch this video and see these comments months later when glaive lord is debatably one of the best fifth tiers in the game
I dont care what other poeple say I will stand by glaive lord as I have been since the start of TD battles
I'd love to see a map for the ray of doom, but you could probably use the crossbow master map for that😅

if I recall correctly (I haven't actually used the map editor before, but I saw this on someone else's video....... I think) the crossed out Dart zone is a line of sight blocker, but the crossed out Monkey zone not only restricts placement of monkeys, but also deletes projectiles.

This series is genius….. I would love to see this done with as many towers as possible.
That reminds me of "Sauda's Least Cash 1TC", a map that meets all the requirements for Sauda to be able to win without purchasing any levels
I always felt like glaive lord was powerful but not really in the right way. It definitely needs some new abilities on its orbit, like some sort of debuff on Bloons. Such as chance to knockback or crit
If you want support to not attack you can enable the tower cheats mod and edit their range/ damage so they don’t take any pops

All of them! Do a series of the most underused t5 for each tower
I personally think that perks spike would a be a cool idea for map. you make a map as long as possible, but don't let the bloons touch the spike pile until the end.
End every round would last 30 minutes 😢😢
Now do it with the beast handler but with the longest possible map length, i wanna see bloons get picked up and drop on the first node of the track.
I've seen people SWEAR by this thing saying its a good tower and I kid you not someone actually say Glaive Lord is a A tier tower for late game
I think there’s a bunch of potentially fun “create a map for X” challenges:
- UJugg
- Biggest One
- Geraldo
- Bomber Ace Spam
- Cluster-Bomb/Recursive Spam
- WoF Spam
- Razor Rotors Spam
There’s also Deflation-like Challenges, where you can say “design a map that would be best if I had 10k.” There’s also potentially creating custom maps to do unexplored or otherwise impossible 2TCs/2MPs.
You should do this with the spirit of the forest when it all gets max thorn things (light blue ones)

perfect ace map would be hilarious maybe stack as many bomber aces as you can and see what happens
3:58 iirc in adora's temple something similar happened to me, i made a temple on the ground and it gained height, but i think it didnt simply see through the whole temple. you could try making the height higher for the path, maybe? if thats an option.

The camo potion wasn't doing much of anything there because you had your Overclocks decamo the DDTs and thus the Glaive Lord didn't do any extra camo damage.
I'm curious how an optimal Pouakai map would look
This map could be reused for the tack shooter, Andre you put water inside the circle then it would be amazing for the energizer
I think an interesting idea would be an alchemist middle path or wizard, any path or heli pilot any path
A perfect map for the Ultrajuggernaut would make great content. It also has the added benefit of also being a perfect map for the Plasma Master. Much more interesting than another circle map.

this has nothing to do with the video but me and a friend are playing freeplay at like 2 in the morning and i placed a monkey buccaneer paragon and realized it had no pants, then we thought about every tower that did have pants. so you should totally do a chimps run with monkeys that wear pants only. (quick edit: if you can see the legs it's disqualified. but stuff like the boomerang are fine because it's technically wearing pants *although through a suit* )
I used glaive Lord and it solo'd a moab while the prince of darkness couldn't even solo a simple moab

The glaive lord is, in my opinion, underrated. I like to use him in my causal games sometimes. He’s special in his own ways :)

Would permabrew maybe be better to go for before Call to Arms/Homeland? I know it's a weaker buff, but being up 100% of the time might be enough to offset that

Wouldn't running the orbital glaives countercurrent to the path give more damage instead of having them chase? It likely won't be a huge improvement though.

The orbiting glaives are visual in BTD6 (unlike BTD5) and just hit a flat amount of times per second.
That's because, unlike BTD battles 1 and BTD5, the Orbital Glaives here are not the ones that do the damage, it's like an aura effect from the Glaive Lord that damages the bloons. In BTD battles 1 and BTD5, the Orbital Glaives are the main source of damage

i’d like to see permacharge on one of these tower specific maps… you can make loops that the permacharge can shoot down to have its attack entirely covered by the track.
what about pierce tho... and also the track would be tiny compared to this
@@Khetomi1 its given a ton of pierce buffs, yeah it would get pierce capped but it would be guaranteed to be using all of its high pierce
and maybe it would be small, depending on big or small you make the loops or how many you make

i feel like if the orbital glaives were able to expand outwards to hit farther bloons while sacrificing a bit of how fast it can damage bloons, it'd be a lot more usable
nah its already trash at single target it needs only buffs

@Khetomi1 i mean it deals less damage less often with how far out it is because it needs to spin farther. it needs a damage buff overall.

3:50 i know it is late but i think its because of the monkey knowledge with x ray that makes all super monkeys be able to shoot trough walls
It’s on chimps mode so no monkey knowledge
thats only with ultravision (002), not super or epic range
sun temple can just naturally shoot through walls

How about Avatar of Wrath map?
As in put it in one corner and set to close, while the path being a zigzag shaped like a triangle just so the spread covers the entire lane. Not necessarily to test if AoW is viable, I just want to have the satisfaction of seeing millions of projectiles on screen from one tower alone.
Might as well try this map with tack shooters too

dont quote me on this, but im pretty sure it doesnt matter, i think it just acts as a circular hitbox that constantly triggers, and the rotating glaives are just an animation to make it look nice.

Im pretty sure a god that shoots house sized stars at that rate and speed should be able to take down any blimp faster than 3 slower spinning glaives
