Yes. He’s a perfectly normal human being. No fake hyped up attitude for the cameras or show. No stupid jokes. No pseudo-intellectualism. No superiority complex. Just a normal guy. It’s a breath of fresh air.
If you are a baseball fan, and happen through Louisville, that factory tour is a great family or for yourself time. Pretty inexpensive, and getting to hit balls in the batting cage with bats made to your hero's specifications for a few extra dollars is so fun. I've been three times and got a custom bat made for myself every trip.
I have been there before it is so interesting to walk through there and see how the bats are made especially for a baseball player or a baseball fan highly recommend going and taking a tour of you are ever in Louisville Kentucky you won't regret it
2 yr later he now plays for the Cubs lol Edit - Also, don't tell me 24 is your favorite number too... just so happens Pederson is #24 now too. Crazy huh?
While I have the chance I wanna thank my dad for getting me into baseball .he won’t read this , he’s old school and still listens to the radio on the front stoop . I’ll never forget the 1st time I played ball . 1966 , The older kids up the block were pitching and hitting in the street and dad sent me up there and told me to ask if I can play . Mr. Broschart was pitching over hand and i said , cant throw underhand ? I was like 6 yo and he said , that’s not how we play here son and proceeded to put my hands together , choke up on the bat and spread my legs . It was all fun and games ever since .

I've crossed the bridge on I65 from Indiana into Kentucky many times and the first thing you see is that big ass Louisville Slugger factory. I've always wanted a tour. Where do they make the corked ones?
I'm in Tennessee, but very time I got to Louisville, I go again. Hell, the part of the tour where they hit the cnc machine and are doing bats for current players is thrilling.
It’d be cool to get a branded bat without sanding off the scorch marks. Hell, take a blowtorch to it and add some more. Then a nice varnish to seal it in
My question to Louisville : What flavor do you coat Puig's bat that makes him lick it?
Steroids
@@MRMALO-ed3jp it's just a joke bro
Funny

@Christian Frank white dick
The bat vault reminded me Harry Potter going into the Wand store.
You,Sir, had an awesome childhood.
Stop it
Ollivanders

🤣
Joc did great in the Home Run Derby last year (2019) glad he' still around!
It’s like “our Fort Knox”
*unlocks standard single lock and enters room.*
would love to have an air refreshner of that wood factory smell....
Create it, cause if you don’t! I will!
@@patrickmahomie7556 I need a update on that
Louisville needs a baseball team.
They got a minor team, the Bats
Tira Diaz no like a mlb team
quocthai nguyen Louisville Lions
The Louisville sluggers
It would never last. NBA team has failed many of times here
I like how this is in my recommended right when he gets traded
Valentino Gomez not no more
He's staying LOL
Do they build outfield cameras at this factory? If so I'll take 30.
Thankfully not anymore
Luckily the trade didn't go through. Now he has a WS ring.
Joc seems like... a simple fellow....
"Are there stuff in these?"
Jon he asked so he can tell the density of the bat, if it was hollowed out or corked it would sound different
Yes, he’s a regular guy and that’s a good thing.
Yes. He’s a perfectly normal human being. No fake hyped up attitude for the cameras or show. No stupid jokes. No pseudo-intellectualism. No superiority complex. Just a normal guy. It’s a breath of fresh air.
And Jon is a simple name
What he doesn’t know is that they just won the World Series
😂😂😂

@Tiko Fun tiko im a huge fan!
Oh never mind f you fake boy
It’s about time they always choke
Going to the Louisville slugger was cool, even better that Joc Peterson hit a home run with the special order bat he chose.

If you keep making videos like this I’ll keep watching.

You’re literally everywhere on RUclips man 😂I see you in the comments of country music videos, pop music videos, now this
Got a source on that?
I remember watching Stu Pederson growing up back in the good 'ol days when he played for Syracuse. Dang, time flies...
Love this video especially da vault and the burning 0f the bat!
I had to watch this now that Joc is slapping them Homeruns for my Atlanta Bravos now! 💪🤟

Took the tour 10 years ago was awesome. Met the guy who made Frank Robinson's bats pre computer. He's was like the tour miester.
He was like a kid in a candy store
You just made my day!
@@peatelisucksbigfatdick9050 nice
I wanted to sit down at the branding or milling gear and turn some bats.
More like a dodger outfielder in a bat factory
I would love to tour their facility. The smell of wood would be an experience in itself
"I want to smell another mans wood" 😂
It’s really cool would highly recommend
I live in Louisville and I’ve been there many times and it never gets old

July 2022 - Boy, O’l Joc has really put on the Lbs!
Bats have changed pretty much 20 or 20 years ago until today. I still keep my Louisville Slugger bat I usted in 80's and can see difference
Wish I kept my first LS from when I was a kid. I can still remember it.
I MA A CARDINAL FAN LIVE AND DIE, THIS PIECE HAS NOW MADE ME A HUGE JP FAN HES SUCH A NICE GUY!!!!
As a baseball fan, this is really cool!
I am surprised they don’t have a batting cage setup for MLB players to try various bat configurations.
So many bats to choose from. It looks like a lot of work to make all those bats
i went to the museum a while back. you can just feel the history in the air
I took the tour at LS a few years ago while passing thru town. Josh Harrison from the Pirates at the time was going thru.
Thanks joc how cool to see
Wish there were more videos like this!
Extremely interesting, thank you for this!
I’m korean I love baseball and MLB🇰🇷🇰🇷
Great, if you love to ride bike and motorbike then you have balls
“I don’t like it dad...sorry.” 😂😂

I have been through there a couple times, I was surprised how big of a city Louisville is! You would have never guessed from seeing it on a map.

why is he wearing Grandals jersey #9 in the last home run? @6:18
Matthew Garbe I think that was Grandal. Is Joc a switch hitter? Because the last batter was a righty...
