@@aryaman05 Unfortunately, certificates and political link doesn't make anyone's "claim" a truth. I on the other hand has actual facts (publicly available data) to prove that he's talking BS. Given that such a decorated and well connected Indian talking BS tells the true state of India.

Entirely misleading. Army leadership for reasons best known to them prefers Israeli ATHOS which Israel itself does not use despite better options domestically available.
ie Army leadership is playing with the safety of the country
Post Ukraine war ( of course in plains - Howitzers are destroyed by counter bombardment within 5 to 10 mins if they dont scoot away
ie On China front India needs not traditional howitzer but mobile howitzer
And on Pak front we need truck mounted howitzers of the type Armenia bought.
Both are expensive but must. Indian army leadership risking the safety of the country with its wish on

On Tanks , again misleading statement
Chinese Tank designer praised very first version of Arjun Tank. Arjun Tank did beat T90 in internal trails. Yet Army does not like it.
Late CDS Rawat ordered 460 plus T90 tanks after he became army head. Tank cost comprises 27% development cost for 30 year tech then.
Army leadership keeps talking about weight of tanks. Nato tanks are all > 70 Tons like Arjun. Russian tanks are around 55 tons.
Any tank if it is mobile and can meet fire power ctiterion should be accepted ie Arjun. But army leadership decides NO to arjun tank
