Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

My friend, he is a hardened long term investor. He has made tons of money by investing in small cap stocks and holding them for 5,10 years or more. He has seen such crashes and booms many many times, so he is used to it. The market has moved up and down like this many times over the last 20-30 years, there have been many bull and bear markets, yet the markets have given good returns over time. And small cap stocks have given superlative returns. But they are also the riskiest and majority of them are run by crooks who are out to swindle innocent investors.

the verdict has really shocked all investors. I was more or less predicting a fall which is why I cut my positions heavily.
I saw Ramdeo Agarwal and Vijay Kedia. Both look deeply concerned. And the biggest cue was given by Navneet Munot. Remember HDFC MF is the largest MF in terms of AUM. He said that we have to accept the verdict but economic growth will continue.
But one thing is certain there will be very big churn in market. The PSU basket has rallied tremendously and all of them during the BJP tenure. It means that smart money was holding them. And smart money always is close to government. Now we have to see who forms govt. If INC forms govt. there will be further correction.

You will love stock market if you focus on needs over wants and patience over greed. I have portfolio of 7.5cr and live off 20 lakh expenses a year so I don't worry about falls just buy at my levels for 3-5 year horizon and if some like kei, anup engr, Zomato etc continue doing good, I will hold for years till they stop growing.

Long term investing better than option trading
NDA is forming the govt and it's obviously gonna be a more stable govt. than what Congress can stitch together with so many partners. So, that's the reality we're gonna deal with. I think this shouldn't affect the market in a macroeconomic way. So, infra, energy etc trends should and will continue.
