Cornflour and corn startch are the same, just different terms depending on location.

Thank you for your video. It is very helpful
very useful video sharing ...good video
Thanks for visiting
I made this today and it's very smooth and pliable. Unfortunately, it's not drying. A tiny ball left out all evening is still as pliable as when it was made. Would microwaving it help? I suspect so much oil in the recipe is the cause.
I agree. So much oil is preventing it from drying
wow... kids will like it!
The ingredient to prevent mold/fungus, now that makes sense. :) It was the one concern I had, as essentially you are still using something akin to flour- cornstarch that is.
You can use corn flour or corn starch. Vinegar (or lime) and glycerin act as presevatives and prevent mold growth. After completely dry, give a coat of varnish. Varnish will protect your works from extreme weather conditions, especially mold growth because of humidity.
soft clay...enthayalum kollam..good video

Where did you purchase the Basco Permastic wood glue?
wow super video da
Hey...nice video.loved it !!
I want to make lippan art things so can i use this clay for that too?
Also can add coconut oil instead of baby oil?
In One of comments u mentioned wall putty can be added instead of cornflour..so will the final result changes bcz of that?
Also is there any chance for any flies or somthings bcz of oil n cornflour n all?
Does this color changes over a period of time?
Last que ....does this break if it falls down after drying?
Plz reply to my queries 😅😅
Hello! Hope you are doing well.
Yes you can make lippan art things using our clay . Any vegetable oil including coconut oil is fine. Clay using cornflour is softer and easier to shape and if wall putty is used, you will make wall putty clay. No flies and insects come regardless of oil and cornflour. Colour generally does not change but low quality colors may change to a very small extent over years if exposed to sunlight. This can be avoided if sealed with varnish. The clay is very durable and does not break easily; but if pieces of clay are glued together the glue can break when force is applied. The items we made with this recipe was tested and did not break nor did the colour change. Best wishes dear! Apologies for the late reply 🤍
What can we use beyond cornflour?
i used to buy this from shop for my daughter. she wants is always to make something of her choice.. will show this video to her
Hmmm this looks like fun! I have corn starch to keep my polymer and air dry clays from sticking to my silicone molds/texture sheets. So I should get corn flour also to make this? I have almost all of this here, tomorrow to get a few more things. May I ask if you have tried this with a texture sheet? I want to do that to create jewelry. Thanks again!
Ofcourse, give it a try! its possible to curl it or make texture sheets.
Your welcome, and thankyou for visiting my channel.
What if i dont have glycerin?
Buy it
😂
Does the brand called "Nitro" work for this? 😁
Bi
Maybe mineral oil, but idk how well that will work as it's not water soluble like glycerin.
Lol 😂😂😂😂@@Iamaartisticchild
Thank you so very much for sharing this recipe. I was about to make some ornaments with my grandkids, but the different recipes I have used before have been so unsuccessful. I always use cornstarch and baking soda and have also tried salt dough (they have come out better with salt dough, but still crack after maybe a week ). Is it ok to use cornstarch instead of cornflour? and if I use cornflour do you recommend a specific brand? I know some brands have grains that are thicker and also the color is yellow. I would appreciate your input since we are about to do some Halloween ornaments on the 29th . Thank you so very much once again.
Hi, you can use cornstarch or cornflour. Any good one (with no granules) will work.
we are using white colored fine corn starch.
Happy halloween, hope this helps😊
Could this clay be weather proof if I put a clear coating like polyurethane after it's dry?
Yes! You can make the clay weather proof by coating it with polyurethane or any varnish
Can we skip tissue paper ???
Yes I think u can because most of the recipes doesn't use tissue its just optionally to have better surfaces ig
The tissue paper is the Secret Ingredient that keeps this air dry clay from cracking!!! Pay attention people! Lol
Can you leave out the white paint if you want it to look milky and translucent when it dries?
Yes
Not sure where I went wrong, but mine turned out very sticky. I kept putting lotion on my hands while kneading, but after q while it went back to be sticky. I added more flour thinking it maybe was too wet, and it got stickier. Do you know how to prevent from being so sticky?
I think your dough is under cooked. Microwave wave it 30 second. Knead well. And repeat it one or two times. Over cooking also makes the dough worse. If you over microwaveit may become too tight. Refrigerating it for 24 hours also makes it non sticky with the right level of tightness. While kneading apply vaseline or any oil instead of using lotion.
@@minithaabraham Thanks Minitha, I will give the recipe another go when I get free time. I hope it will work.💜💙💚💛🧡
Can you use Kleenex instead of TP?
Can I skip adding glycerine
Yes the clay may work without glycerin but glycerin makes the clay more flexible, smoother and retains moisture in the clay to prevent the clay from cracking once its dry.

How to go about in the microwave?
Can we use wall putty in place of corn flour
Mam please reply soon
Yes. That is another type of clay called wall putty dough. Good for making idol and show piece.
Hello dear Can i use this clay to make lippan art?
Yes you can
Will it still work if I don’t have glycerine or baby oil?
Use any vegetable oil if you have no baby oil. Glycerin is good to add if you have. It will increase softnes, prevent cracking and act as a preservative. But You can try without glycerin too. Clay will be good and work well.
por favor alguien que me diga los ingredientes, 😹😹😹, gracias, un saludo desde Colombia
Hi! What's wrong with clay if it not give a tear drop shape
I just try a small amount of every ingredient but it not give the tear drop shape
What's wrong with my clay?? Kindly answer me
If it is in the correct consistency it may form tear shape(that means you mixed all the ingredients in correct amounts and did not overcook). Your clay might be a little bit overcooked and hence will be a bit dry but will still work just fine. Hope that helps 👍🏼
Can i use fevicol glue?
Yes. You can👍🏼
Mam can we use fevicol mr
Yes you can use
We can use rice flour in the place of cornflour
where to buy glycerin?
It is readily available in medical stores and supermarkets. You can also buy it online on amazon/online shopping sites

It still cracks!!!
Hi, can you provide some more details. Did you get the same consistency and add all the same amount of each ingredient. If your sculpture is very large, you can add more tissue paper to prevent cracking. If it is regular sized, then the amount mentioned in the video is sufficient.
Why don't you put the recipe so people can take note.
