A taro leaf can be used as tobaco when cured. Also if you cut one in half and put in water it will give you a rooting gel.

Nice one. You have the bun-long variety there, I believe. I have three other edible taro varieties plus 2 varieties of cocoyam 'Xanthosoma saggitifolia'. Happy to post some if interested, I live in the Northern Rivers

yes! Taro leaves are a staple to Polynesian Cuisine. Search up the "Tongan Luu Sipi" or Fijian/Samoan "Palusami" or "Lu'au"
