This is so good, I will definitely take inspiration and study as much as I can from this, I was listening to it and it felt only like 3 minutes and it surprised me when it ended! Maybe just my thought, the beginning, I think you were trying to get the audiences attention though it might sound loud and annoying and maybe connect some of them together? Once again this was such a pleasure to listen to and it sure is a banger.
Beginning was interesting, there was no satisfying resolve at the point where you expect the melody to hit. At 0:49-51 there's a huge cresendo and gathering of all the instruments and right at that hit, it just turns into something different. Then again at 1:15 , where it starts to sound like a Hallmark background for an awkward scene with the main character. Then at 1:34 it becomes a...kingdom fanfare? Obviously the application is the main source for the oddity of the sound, but it does lack something in it that could be worked on regardless, this is constrictive criticism I promise I'm not dunking on you. the middle was like Lord of the Rings/the opening to New Hope, especially at 4:15 . And I haven't gotten to the ending yet. It's good, but definitely has a missing sense of literature to it.
@@WitchKing-Of-Angmar I composed it with a friend who is a film composer and his parts are in the middle while i composed the intro and second half so that’s why it turns into somthing different. It’s just hard when you’re not composing it alone because you don’t full control over everything
@philip.stigaard I always say compromise with the person, explain your direction and let them explain theirs. It's still a very compelling piece but has room to grow of course, much like anything else. You should compose a christmas piece, short sweet style. Intersecting melodies of different genres from Nutcracker, Frosty, Let it snow, and Feliz Navidad/alternative, and then have a blend style chart where all the melodies come up with transitional sections. Transition is the word of the day for your book I think, it's easy and yet not at the same time, some people go up a half step, have a single soloist, or the terrifying Robert Sheldon approach of just changing key every 5 seconds, or that one 21 christmas songs piece that somehow made it work. Best of luck
@@onewhogetsbread9975 it’s made in Dorico so it will be very messy in musescore. Also when i try to put it in musescore it crashes. I’ll try to fix it tho and put it in the description

@FredericChopin-if5rn bruh dissonance makes things expressive don't you know?
Yeah it does, I like ravel because of that, I just feel like most teens would not like dissonance in music. Either way it isn’t my decision.
