I have a whole 3 tattoos and would like more but can't make my mind up what to do next 😁 my first one was in a place that a lot of people look down their noses at because of certain connotations, but I got it there simply because I also wanted to be able to hide it, because it's personal to me, and I'd like to add to it at a later date. It's a triple moon with a pentacle in the middle moon, surrounded by a sun/flames, all in purples. Pain wise, some of it was pretty painful, some of it extremely the opposite so it very much depends on nerve placement and all that. Research your artist thoroughly, and also don't be afraid to go back for a touch up/fill in if any spots have been missed. Also - we're down in Cornwall - there's some fab artists down here!
My tattoo is on my shoulder blade. Even in a racerback top you can see very little of it. But it is roughly 5 inches across. It will be included in a map across my back(Tolkien-ish story/style). I found it fairly easy to care for with my partners help. I worked with young kids at the time, so it left my hands and forearms alone for unending washing up 😏. My suggestion is, find some pictures you like say on Pinterest( or similar platforms ) and every week recheck them. If the pictures don’t still call to you, then get rid of them. Keep looking and adding too. Trust your instincts on what you want. Or draw something if you’re able. Or trace a dragon form and add in what you want around it. The possibilities are endless. It all helps your tattoo artist to know YOUR vision, so any tweaks they might suggest will work with it.Good luck finding something that expresses you!

Wish I could have a tattoo but there's never been anything I've loved enough but those tattoo designs are lovely.😮
Those thorns might bugger up a few tyres so make sure to power wash them away. I learnt that the hard way moving to kent and driving to close to curbs where thorn bushes usually splinter off.

I think a tattoo of Mel with a metal detector would look great with you below it with your arms open with the meaning that he has struck gold with finding you

Hi Becky ,When on hols in Marmaris I got a wee red love heart with my son s name & D.O.B on my right ankle. He is now 32 yrs but no matter how old he gets he ‘s still be my baby. I would nt get something too big your a Petite lady . I m also January but alas 20 yrs older. 👋🏻🏴x

Wow we are very similar… I was this way when I met Jaye. As you know I’ve many tattoos.. most of mine are things I like they have no meaning. My advice is research your artist. Look at the work they do that’s similar to what your after and try and message the client for healed aged pics.
Pain is so individual… if like me you’ve a high tolerance then you’ll be fine. Maybe have a small something pretty and see how it feels for you. The healing is more painful imo.

@@Ritarelay awww bless you Lydsey ❤️❤️❤️. I have a high pain threshold, but that doesn’t mean I want to push it with too much to start with. I’ve got an artist in mind, I love her designs and the healing afterwards looks really good and the design stays true to when it’s first done. That’s a great idea to start with something small and go from there x

Becky ultimately the decision to have a tattoo is your (And if Mel is happy with that then great) But personally I hate tattoos especially on women.But its your choice.

Hi Becky, I've a couple of tattoos, 1 a poppy on my left upper arm (poppies are very significant to me, especially being a veteran), 2 I have my wife's name across my back/shoulders, (I've always joked that she is on my back, so I had this tattoo done to symbolise it), my next one is going to be my former regiments crest on a shoulder.
I'd say start small and work up, or maybe have a tattoo that you can add to it on different occasions, going straight in for the big one across your back maybe too painful and it'll put you off any more.

As one who has never desired a tattoo , I’m probably not the best advocate. I went for 2 earrings in my left ear over 50 years ago, when it was virtually unknown for men - my rebellion against a conventional upbringing. Fairly discrete because i had below the shoulder length hair back then. You do need to be aware of the sensibilities of those you come into contact with who may not chime with the reasons or significance of your projected artworks, and I think that your idea of delicate designs with resonance to your journey would be perfect. Just remember that a lily is beautiful, and a little gilding may enhance that beauty, take care not to obliterate the original beauty❤ The best to you and Mel.

one for mel doing all these great jobs on your viro most insurance company will not cover unless done by reg dealer"s is there a way round this as it is putting me off knowing they are starting not to cover self build vans or not paying out on insurance or recomend a good insurer that will be happy with my own conversions
@@carltonthorne2472 we use Sterling insurance as they are happy with self converted and even offer cover on the internal build as an agreed valuation 👍🏻
