Awesome!!! Thank you. Mine started slipping a few months ago because I use it a lot and torque on bikes while they are in the stand. It was super annoying. But, thanks to you, it’s now fixed and works great again.
I have both. Standard is a wall mount, which I use on a 4x4” timber pole, inserted into my wood vice or somewhat higher, engineer’s vice. The second, HD version, is the freestanding model. I bought both models because my main touring bikes weigh in the vicinity of 20kg. I wasn’t sure either. I think for that weight, either is fine, and I’ve had no problems. I use both, which was very handy when I was swapping parts recently. If I were going to buy one unit, I’d buy the HD. I tend to buy the best I can get-I’ve always been a spendthrift.
Thank you so much for this video. Never thought I’d find a solution out there. You the man.
Great job!! Thank you for sharing. It started slipping yesterday and now I know how to fix it!!
Great fix. Thanks. 😊
That was a common sense type of video but even for me that was excellent..very informative
Thanks! 👍

Glad it helped and thanks for the feedback 👍
Thanks for sharing. Mine came gapped new.
For the average home use, would you recommend this or the heavy duty version this stand?
I am also contemplating this!
