    Love it. I like the sanding sticks. I have been using a pencil wrapped in sandpaper to get what I could and. Those look small enough to get anywhere I would need.

      They were sent to me by a subscriber and have been an amazing asset to my sanding. I have now seen them in hobby stores or craft stores near the Model Car section

    I've tried this and failed miserably! I tried it with a #5 and with a #7. Not having a table saw, I purchased wood surfaced 4 sides. I checked them for square...they were perfect! The patterns I had were very simplistic Christmas Ornaments. I like your technique! I'll have to try again. Thanks and take care!

      It sounds like your blade selection, a thinner blade can drift in the material and cause it not to line up, you need the beefier blade so you know it's not "drifting or bending" while cutting. also this is a very, very slow cut

    Any idea which font is that? Just for creating personalised texts, instead of using the template Steve shares. Thanks

      Not sure of the font, Steve uses it for these "Word Art" pieces he designs, maybe try sending him an email

    Im not good enough to try this on a scroll saw, just about qualified to break blades. However, I'm trying it on CNC,half way through 1st prototype as a 3D relief carve. The letters will still be level with edge, but it's the inspiration I was doing. Sides 3 & 4 might still be readable not reversed if 8 can merge them all at corners

      Sounds like it will work! I hope to see the finished result when you get it done

    So cool. question is how you would be able to do a name like Amilia Grace. or doesn't it matter that there isn't the same amount of letters?

      Thanks, and these are pre made designs that I used, I don't know how it would work with different length names

    Hey when you do compound cutting , what kind of wood do you use and what size blade ? I did some compound cutting tonight and I feel like I worked myself to death.. thank you for any information.. Mandy

    • @ArtisanPirate
      @ArtisanPirate  Год назад

      As I state in the video, I use a number 10 or 12 size blade for this type of compound cutting
