Because I like practical stuff that I can use daily, my faves are the laptop stand and lamp stand (and the HF flashlight is MY favorite free gift, too!).
I'm a nurse. My job can get a bit stressful so for my pastime I love to do projects such as crafst and I love wood work !!!! As I was watching your tutorial, my mouth was gaping open and having that silly smile of a kid who is just so fascinated. I would loooooooove to hang out with you. I'd be that kid who pokes her head in to your hobby shop and just watch what you're doing with them amazing wood work.
You've given me some ideas as I've just bought my first scroll, thank you.
You have the best energy. Inspired me to get a scroll saw for me and the kids. Godspeed brother
Hi Ray, thanks!!! A scroll saw is great because it takes up little space, is quiet, and you can make finished pieces without other tools. It's relatively safe too, but the blade can bite, so teach the kids to stay away from the blade. My worst cut in the shop was on the scroll saw when my thumb went into the blade. Have fun!
As Always excellent projects. Thank you so much for sharing.
Great video! Just bought my first scroll saw and this was the first you tube video that came up when I put in a search for scroll saw projects. The plane, lamp and clock stand were my favorite!
Steve! The shark is bloody awesome mate! My little bloke would love this!
Think I need to step up my wood working game. Gotta make some of these for the kids!
Cool! It was fun coming up with these. I need to think of some more. Thanks for watching and commenting!
The shark looks really cool. I'm going to build it for my nephew.
Steve, great way to show the versatility of the scroll saw!!! I'm a simple guy and like the stands for phones, tablets and laptops... especially the way they can be packed in my bag.
Really cool designs! Shark and saw horses my favorites!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun to design them and then go make them on the scroll saw. They were all good scroll saw practice.
I love the little lamp. I'm like you with the free flashlights. You've got me headed out to dust off my scroll saw. Your enthusiasm is contagious. One of my favorite youtubers.
Thanks Josh! That's awesome! See if you can come up with some other interlocking joint projects.
These were so satisfying to watch. You and Peter Brown are my favorite woodworkers on YoutTube!
Thanks for watching Ryan! I like Peter's stuff as well.
Brilliant projects Steve :) My 4 year l wanted to help me use the scroll saw and of course he always wants to watch something on youtube after he tries stuff. I'm glad I found your video first and love your positive approach :) Thank you ॐ
I just bought a scroll saw today to build frames for my mother's beehives. This was literally the first video I clicked on while looking for other projects.
Cool projects. My fav's 1 lamp, 2 click, 3 bench top saw horses. But most of all I love the rotating sticker display!
Such great designs!!! Love the lamp, the sawhorses, and the shark is AMAZING!
I like the clock the plane and the flashlight stand. They all were great.
Awesome video Steve!
Thanks man!
Awesome, Great to see Scroll Sawing projects coming back, I Like the Lap top stand, Bi Plane, and Phone stand as my top 3

Great work on these, and congrats with the e-book!!! How awesome!!!! My favorites are the shark, the laptop holder and the beer or drink tote. I like how you recommend trying out the cut first to test what works best. Always a good teacher you are. :)
love watching your videos. they are always fun. woodworking doesn't have to be so serious, and you make that very clear. all of those are great ideas for perfecting your ability at the scroll saw. and they look great too!
Thanks Derek! I used to get caught up in trying to build stuff as good as Norm. It took me a long time to realize that was just not my thing, so fun quick projects I can do at night and on weekends are it for me.
Great projects Steve that basket would look great as a lamp or light shade
Excellent tutorial for scroll saw beginners. My preferred : the hammer shark ans also the watch support. Bravo Steve.
Hello from Canada. Love the plane and the clock.
This showed up in recommended videos at the right time. I haven't had a scroll saw for years, but am thinking about it now.
Hammer head Shark is awesome !! The plane and the basket for the design. Great job Steve !
I Love these Steve! Enjoyed it so much. Gonna grab a scroll saw immediately after watching this.
Great projects and a great video. Thank you.
8:46, that is some "finishing" that I could actually look forward too. Great projects too.
Very cool. You come up with some awesome projects. The lamp, plane, saw horses and all the stands are my favorites (to try myself). All the projects are great.
the shark is great. would be perfect as a Christmas gift for my son to assemble
Thanks! It makes a great puzzle.
I like them all Steve. I would think the shark was a challenge. I have not long retired, and looking for this sort of thing to do. you seem to enjoy it too. thank you.
You were talking to ME! I have a scroll saw that's been doing nothing and you got me motivated. I do like wood craft. I'll check on your website about guidance with the scroll as I had problems cutting as it seemed to take forever. Yours cut through like butter.
Cool video! I'm going to my first scroll club meeting next Saturday. Looking forward to learning a new craft!
Thanks David! That's awesome! I do scroll saw demonstrations for our club. Here is a playlist of my projects. You might like the Miniature Road Signs I made. ruclips.net/p/PL7_qb6KGgwLGiUu4ZsUaYKWwhVbEgCIxg
i love how positive this guy is
Hi David! Thanks!
Steve, you're a "WOODWORKING GENIUS & A TRUE CRAFTSMAN"" I have the same Dewalt saw and love it! I started back in the 80's with a Delta "C" arm 20" and did a lot of production sawing on that one, it's not a bad saw but the Dewalt is much smoother. I also have some of the same tools you use plus a 50th Anniversary Shopsmith that I really know how to use.
I also use acrylic plexiglass for projects. I designed some display stands for model airplanes using acrylic and made enough for my whole fleet of model aircraft.
I subscribed and look forward to more of your video projects.
Thanks a bunch.
Your positive energy in the video is the best.
I like the look of these. I think the basket would make a cool hanging light
Great projects, thanks for the excellent video!
Glad to see you back Steve
Thanks Matthew! Now back to one project per video. lol
Looks like you even have fun making them, some great projects.
Watching from Kumba Cameroon, your projects are very inspiring to me... I like the hammer head shack and the the basket too.Keep up the spirit bro.
With each project my mouth opened wider. The shark was most impressive. You Rock.
Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.
I love your Energy you put in making the videos. Awesome. And awesome projects. Greetings from Belize

So cute projects. I love them. Thank you!
Thank you very much!
Very cool Steve all were pretty cool. I really liked the plane and the flashlight stand. By the way thanks for the link to the eBook. I think that'll make a great gift.
Your videos are great. You always seem so happy.
I'm about to purchase a scroll saw, so watching you is extremely informative. One day, a long time in the future i may be half as good as you.
Your energy is way cool....thanks
The shark is definitely my favorite. Awesome job Steve! The scroll saw master!
Thanks Charles! I am definitely getting better at cutting on the line and making turns after doing these, but not quite the master you are...yet. lol
Steve Carmichael
Where did you get the Blade Knob that you use on the scroll saw?
NVM, found the info on your unboxing video. Awesome information, thanks!
Great video. Thanks!
Love your enthusiasm and that clock is sweet! Thinking I gotta go buy a scroll saw now....
Thank you! I had a couple of clock designs and my wife picked that one. I love the scroll saw and really didn't expect it to become a main tool in my shop like it has.
Love the way you look like you're having so much fun. Your flashlight lamp is great!
Thanks Tom! I really liked that one. I was going to come up with a bunch of different lamp designs but haven't gotten to it yet.
Cool projects and catchy music - huma huma! Liked and subscribed! The hammerhead shark was creative and looked like so much fun to make!
What a fun set of projects, Steve! I think my favorite was the plane and the bowl. Quite ingenious!
Thanks Mike!
Steve they are all awesome. I am impressed.
You’re videos are so fun to watch 👍🏻✌🏻
So many cool projects shown in one video, I don't see something like that often on the internet. Thumb up. My eyes stayed on that biplane. It would be a cool decoration, having a small solar panel on the biplane and hidden small motor inside the frame which would turn the propeller.
Amazing work, thanks for sharing and for the great ideas
My top 3 faves.....The Hammerhead, for sure, the clock, and the bench top saw horses.....no, the plane.....no, the light.....no, the tablet stand.....no, the phone stand.....no.....ok, I like them all! LOL Awesome projects, all of them!
Great video. Thanks for the inspiration. I was just given a scroll saw an my son is excited to make something
Love the clock, Arts and Craft look.
Thank you Patti!
Very cool Steve. Love that Shark!
Super job Steve. You sure have good control on the saw.
I am highly impressed with your skills on the scroll saw. Your cuts are extremely precise. Very, very, very nice!
Thanks Glen! I keep practicing. Seems the scroll saw has become one of the most useful tools in my shop, especially for personalizing stuff.
Love your happy enthusiasm and the hammerhead shark.
Great projects. The scroll saw is such a fun tool.
Thanks! I love using it. These projects gave me a lot of practice following lines.
All your designs are very cool. It is super impressive.
A lot of work went into this one. Great job thanks for sharing.
Yep, thanks Marc! I made these for a class I did for our club, so it took a while to prepare for that and do the video. I'm ready to just make a pen now. lol
Awesome ideas Steve! I love the shark and mini saw horses the most!
I like the clock and the tablet stand and lamp in that order. Well done with your usual dose of enthusiasm.
Cool Steve! Great work! Love the angle
That shark is epic. Very nice.
Hi Steve,
Very creative projects! My top 3 are sawhorses, tablet stand and clock.
