Anxiously awaiting your tc electronic 2290P video! Please compare to the original, the Future Factory and the Strymon DIG in ADM mode, and the vintage DDL algorithm in the Eventide Timefactor, or H9 / H90. Those are all the contenders that could compare to it.
The FTT Flight Time sounds pretty good to me and affordable too. But a lot of what this does can be done with a TC D-Two which is better suited for gigging band with rack system.
BIG66 I disagree wholeheartedly. Take it from the guy who plays u2 music for a living. The ftt is the closest thing to a 2290 you will EVER get in a pedal. Yes it is expensive, but well worth it. Check my video pairing it with an ac30. With all due respect of course :)
Agreed, there are plenty others that can do the 2290 thing. I like the T-Rex Replica and TC Vintage Delay. TC Flashback 2 or TC Flashback Triple Delay. Source Audio Nemesis BUT as awesome as it is, there's no analog dry-through. Important for wet/dry. TC Nova Repeater is soooo much better than the crappy regular TC Nova Delay. The Repeater doesn't have a display, but those are for the pussified. Stevie Wonder didn't need no display on his Mu-Tron phaser/filter unit, did he??
So what one is better this or the future tone . I mostly use a hard rock tone but I am also into David Gilmour ambient stuff . It would be being used in mono .
I have used timeline dd20 dd500 dd3 flashback x4 and tons of other delayFlight time is best sound of all for sureBut worst interface of all for sure tooOnly the sound kept me getting away from pedalboard worth keeper

Another great video, beautiful tones.
Many thanks!
Would you please compare the FT-1 to the FT-2? I can’t find any information showing the differences.

If you want a 2290 type of sound, nova or flashback are the best options.
plus cheaper used buy as well under $200 versus $400+

The TC Nova sounds like shit. It's the most sterile digital delay I've ever played in my life. I've owned four of them and they all sound dead.

Any head to heads coming up against the H9 or DD20?
Расскажи о функции free tone в которой используется встроенный микрофон. Что она дает ?
they really put a 2239 into a pedal?well,at least the display part.
You mean a 2290? It's a great delay for sure. The BPM analyzer works great and a genius idea.
For $500-600AUD the Flight Time is nothing special.
