Awesome update. I will be using their paints in the near future. I like the fact the will put your customized colors of choice in spray cans for you. Keep up the great work on the trucks.
dane, use soapy water to apply decals....u can squeegee out bubbles with an old credit card, and adjust before it dries. I SUBSCRIBED....NICE CRACKERBOX.
LOL ... Marks Little by Little .... 6 years later still working on it 😁 your a lucky man having such a deep well of experienced friends to help ... cringing on the maxies might be my age but I am a big fan of Paccars pneumatic rooftop deflectors
Your paint-work is first-rate on this one!!!! Nice consistent tone and hue to that silver-blue!! That truck looks freakin' KILLER!!!! I just did my '77 F150 with 33 cans of Ace Rust Stop, and wet-sanded and buffed, and it's looking real decent. But I need to re-sand my hood because of sanding scratches, and then I want to re-buff the whole thing with better pads and compounds. But it looks good enough now that a bunch of my bad bodywork is waving howdy at you...😁😆
@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE But I chickened out. I'd bought a gallon of single-stage, Bright Dark Blue Metallic, and was going to get me a 20 gallon compressor, small paint-gun, and inline drier cartridges, and then I started reading about single stage metallic paint and decided that that wasn't a good paint for my first air-powered job, so I went with International Blue in rattle-cans. Next in line is my '05 Mustang GT in BC/CC Satin Silver, and I think I'm going to try to use air for it, despite the silver - they say silver is the hardest to shoot. I think that might've been what was dogging you on that metallic green which was tiger striping on you on Grasshopper I believe it was, the Silver Syndrome... Although I'd guess that that silver-blue should be just about every bit as difficult, but it's laid on perfect! You really do great work! And your video production is top notch too! That's you doing all the music? That's you producing your own commercials? (which I watch/let play.) You are a man of many talents! And this might be the best truck channel, once you take that all into account. No offence to Elderly Iron, Classic Truck Rescue, and Ol2Stroker - all my favorite truck channels!
Hey Dane! Your doing some great work on those glory rigs, & I like the way you explain the skinny on what your imagination is seeing as you rework your canvas, & they are going to be some sweet rigs. Thanks for the content, & I'm going 10-10, 10-4!
You guys have put in a serious body of work. So impressive that Blueberry and company have the option to be rigs. It would be utterly stunning if you could obtain some other different period trailers, or even gang up withe other enthusiasts to have a trailer pool.
You and Mr Wizzard are a heck of a team. I'm sure glad to see you getting Bill back. Him and that Great Dane should be on a calender. That paint sure laid out nicely, didn't it? Take care and we will see all of you at Cerni s, Bill
Big thanks to the mechanic.... I have a brake pot that needs a spring cut.. good info ... I have been gathering info on safe method .... and his transmission tut earlier in the year was fabulous .... safe n sound ... trucker's lounge...

Congrats on a Beautiful Paint Job Dane , Excited to see it all hooked up as a combo,, haven't gone back and looked at the past videos ???? was Bills chassie painted that Royal shade of Blue before he left the last time or was that done by the Gentleman you sold him to ???? Looks Great either way, as always Thanx for the video time AND Funds that Wayne , Nr Wizard and Yourself put towards these classic Rides ,, Safe Travels Dane Always to ALL of You Guys 👍👍👍👍
Thank you Dave, I painted the frame and partially the cab before the swap. So now I’m just finishing the job lol. 😊 I tell the “crew” for ya. Thanks for always watching and you be safe out there on the asphalt highway!
Always amazed by what you accomplish in that garage. BILL Looks amazing and that combo is going to be AWESOME! Best part of my Sunday is watching your latest video. Keep on Truck'n!
O-H-I-O Porters🇺🇸 Just getting back from Lake Erie, Port Clinton trip! That storm was wild! Did you get much rain/wind? Your buddy, Bill, would be extremely proud of you my friend! When looking at the back, one would surely think that the hole is in the middle, but we know that it’s not now. I really like it when the paint scheme is continued on the back as well. That top side will look so good when it matches. The trailer is a step closer now! Cutting those brakes is what I was told to do. Did you sane the bases off & repaint them before you installed the new ones? I think replacing all 4 brakes at the same time was the right thing to do. The trailer might be a bit easier to work on. You guys were hammering on Grasshopper when we got there for the Jamboree & working on Bill & trailer is a good thing. You will be able to go to the show in STYLE! Oh, using a respirator is always the best thing to do! Good stuff, as always! Blessings!🥰🤩✌️
Hey Brutha, thankfully we didn’t get much damage here but so many lost power for days! Just trying to get Bill ready for this weekend.get the paint and airfoil all finished and ready. Trailer is gonna need a lot more work so won’t have it ready. Oh well🤷🏼♂️

Lol, that couldn’t have ended well though. I know the old school guys had serious health problems back in the day as they didn’t even wear anything even when painting a car 😮
Well you know your old school when you wear a sleeveless shirt to blow brake chambers off...I wish we all had a Mr wizard to help us with our projects...He probably forgot more about trucks than I know...
Beautifully done everyone at the truckers lounge keep the hammer down safe and sound 😊

That trailer will look good with either Bill or Blue Jay. Loved the older stainless trailers.
I agree it’ll look good on any truck really. It’s so iconic of the 70s in my opinion

When all the new electronic trucks fail, these old rigs will come back out to save America. Keep them rolling, we're gonna need them.
Man you are so right! There’s a reason guys are already going back to them.
