First, in order to understand what happened in Syria, we must talk a little about Bashar al-Assad’s policies and some of the things that happened before the war. Syria supported the resistance movements against Israel, which occupies the Syrian Golan Heights. Syria refused the passage of the Qatari gas pipeline that reaches Europe through its territory, as it is an ally of Russia. This gas pipeline would have freed Europe from the need for Russia to secure gas. These things made Assad hated by America, Israel and Qatar, which represents the largest supporter of the Islamic jihadist ideology in the Arab world. Qatar, through the media and clerics, encouraged Syrians to demonstrate against Bashar al-Assad, who was improving the living and economic situation and many other things. These demonstrators were young people influenced by the Arab Spring that took place in Egypt, as well as young people influenced by the clerics supported by Qatar, who killed many Syrian policemen in the first days of the revolution. Assad responded to these events with firmness and strength, and because of Bashar al-Assad’s great popularity in Syria, these sit-ins did not change anything on the ground, so the situation moved to the second stage, where Qatar supported the formation of the Free Syrian Army and asked the clerics again to incite Muslims. From all over the world to jihad in Syria with great logistical support from Qatar, Turkey, Jordan and America. All this happened to change the ruling regime in Syria from a regime hostile to Israel and allied with Iran and Russia to a puppet regime controlled by America and some Gulf Arab countries such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia. 🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾❤❤❤
