Having Weird Al make a parody of your song means you have officially “made it” in the music industry! Being included in a Weird Al Polka is a top honor as he only writes one per album as a mashup of 10-12 different artists. This one being all Hamilton songs shows his deep appreciation for Lin’s writing!
it was debuted on Jimmy Fallon, he, Lin-Manuel and The Roots drummer were the first three to hear it. there is a reaction film of Fallon and Lin-Manuel watching it.
Weird Al casually dropped that he took the fastest parts of Lin's work and made them 20% faster and in five-part harmony. For reasons. We do not deserve his greatness.
The original Lin-Mauro reaction was great. Then I saw Fallon interviewing Weird Al and Miranda (great context interview). Then came the video you just viewed. And now I get to watch your reaction! It can’t get any better. No thing tops it.
Dude, the reaction video to when writer/star Lin Manuel Miranda heard that Weird Al had done this....it is so pure! He's like a kid on Christmas! You know he totally feels like he's arrived
Also - I'd love to watch you - watching either songs from or the full show of Avenue Q for the first time XD I think you'd spend so much of it laughing haha.
the first time i gound out the hamilton polka was a thing was when i saw the video of lin miranda reacting to it. his constant smile and laughter made it so much better lol
Hey Jase! I've recently started watching your videos. Pentatonix reactions brought me here, but I stayed, because you're a fun dude. 👍 I saw that you reacted to Jeremy Jordan, She Used to be Mine, and I was hyped! I have another request by him if possible: Jeremy Jordan 'Losing My Mind'. I love his story telling and musicality. Plus his voice is amazing, so I hope you get the chance to react to it! Keep being you and have an awesome day!
You need to react to Hamilton Mixed Tape - RUclips has many of them - Immigrants, Second Burn, and the cut songs (that should have never been cut) Congratulations and letter to John Adams!!
I listened to this song a lot before I saw or heard *real* Hamilton, so this is my go-to when thinking about that show. It's stuck in my head alllll the time
The Starkid youtube channel has some great musicals. They have two horror themed ones you would like. The Man who Hated Musicals, and Black Friday. They have a huge fanbase too, so it would be good for the channel. I subscribed months ago, would love to see you react to them!
Another musical to check out is Newsies. The original movie is good (even has a super young Christian Bale) but the broadway version is great. Very high energy and catchy tunes like Hamilton. It’s also on D+.
OK, Weird Al songs to do: Another One Rides The Bus, Eat It, and Amish Paradise. An artist you should check out, if you don't mind controversial songs, is Tom Macdonald. Start with Politically Incorrect, and spread out from there. Now, if you want nothing to do with controversial music then don't listen to him.

He consistently remains relevant years and decades after the artists he parodies.
There is a video somewhere of Lin-Manuel miranda listening to this for the first time, I don't think he stops laughing the whole time. Great reaction!

Weird Al ALWAYS delivers! Hamilton works surprisingly well as a polka. This is ridiculously fun!

My daughter LOVED your reaction. And for me, it was great seeing it a second time.

BTW, the person who synced up all that Hamilton footage to fit the polka was.... Weird Al. Hey, it was lockdown. He had the time available.
Weird Al Yankovich!!! Ahhhh. I can't wait for you to do more!
PLEASE react to Weird Al’s “Amish Paradise!”

It's actually called The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals but yeah he should def watch those!
Also the Harry Potter musicals!
Much talk was made about musicals. If there's one musical I'd like you to do it'd be "Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog"
The Alternative Polka is fabulous! That should be next on your list!
Another musical to check out is Newsies. The original movie is good (even has a super young Christian Bale) but the broadway version is great. Very high energy and catchy tunes like Hamilton. It’s also on D+.
Your face at the first 8 seconds 🤣🤣🤣
Weird Al always kills it.
I didn’t think that you would react to this but I’m so happy you did
It's pronounced 'yank-o-vick,' not 'yank-o-vich.' People have been getting this wrong for decades.
I actually knew that and still screwed it up 🤦♂️
You should do Weird Al's White and Nerdy
I know i'm late but have you listened to the deleted song and the hamilton mixtape ? If u haven't u really should
There are videos for all of Al's polkas. Each one has the same method as this one.
Jase needs to react to the Hamilton Mixtape. The video for Wrote My Way Out is AMAZING.
Here's part of Lin's reaction to it:

If you are still into Avi from Pentatonix, check out Avi Kaplan - Change on the Rise
