It does attach to the cargo using the cargo brackets, but you’ll need M6 bolts for the privacy tent back plate and some washers as the holes on the cargo bracket are sized for the m8 bolts. Hope that makes sense

Yes mate, when looking at the awning the Mrs said the same as you - that we'd like the option of making the awning into a room with side and front panels, assuming with the brackets any old awning room would fit?
@@lygase Yeah so I went with the Tentbox awning, but its seems like other awnings are identical/similar. Check out my awning review video if you haven’t already. We bought the ARB deluxe awning room which attached directly to the Tentbox awning. ARB make their own awning too. In terms of the brackets, if you go for a cargo tent and buy some cargo awning brackets, you can attach the awning directly to the cargo tent itself. If you go for something like a tentbox lite or classic, you need to use L brackets to attach the awning to your roof bars. The cargo is much easier in this respect. I’ve attached the shower room in the exact same way i attached the awning. Was very easy, i just had to get some smaller nuts and bolts as the shower room uses a different size rail. Hello!! I’ll be honest, no... mainly just with the UK lockdown and restrictions. I do plan on heading out again as soon as I can. Having spent one cold night in it in October, i’d say it’s just like any other tent in terms of keeping the heat in. A warm sleeping bag is essential and a hot water bottle if you can access hot water 😀
Tom and I recommend getting some sporks ( all In one ) cutlery a lot easier than taking 🍴 🥄 separately. Looking forward to watching your new adventures. We miss camping so much 🏕
It’s in Druridge Bay, Northumberland at a place called Hemscott Hill Farm, however they only offer camping for one month of the year so it’s very limited. It’s beautiful there though
