Visually I believe this is the nicest looking Smash Bracket so far, I wasn’t a fan of a couple things in the episode but I gotta give credit where it’s due, massive props the animators for this. I’ll go into more detail when I make my review and I’m pretty hyped for what’s next :)

Man this fight was definitely an Egg-cellent one but Banjo & Kazooie didn’t have what it takes to out-egg the Happy Go Lucky Green Dinosaur. Ok that out of the way, nice to see my Smash main come out on top and as long as Yoshi won something, that's cool with me like I just needed to see him win once so if he ends up losing in the next round, I would be fine with it.
I can't belive the (cam't belive I'm saying this...) Impostor came in last minute and shot both of them down! Honestly... surprising, a sort of welcomed one though. I can't wait for more grounded opponents like the FE characters because the Marth vs Meta Knight was really fun to watch. Characters like these does use comdedic elements as their feats which is fine, but sometimes a mid-way between realistic and exagerrated are best fights

Yoshi has more feats and versatility, mostly due to the sheer amount of appearances they have made in Mario and Yoshi games. There feats of durability and strength are based on slapstick so they should be about equal levels with Banjo maaaaybe getting an edge. It’s close, and nearly is a tie. Yoshi just slightly edges Banjo out.

These were my 2 favorite video game characters growing up. Im happy with the outcome! Although was hoping Banjo Kazooies Mumbo transformations would come into consideration which would have made the fight fair. Anyways i don’t expect Yoshi to go far. This was an amazing episode all around!!! Great job, been waiting for this for like 5 months 😂 im happy!
Oh my god… where do I start? The visuals are amazing here! Absolutely astonishing I must say! The music my god feels so good even if I’m just listening! And while this is a small minor there’s nothing in the background that’s just, not there. Like in Wario vs Lucas. Amazing episode but in the end the street kinda just ended but like into the void kinda. And the Banjo-Kazooie sprites and so SO GOOD! I’ve been a fan since Mario vs Mega man and I have been waiting for this episode for awhile. I was always rooting for Banjo and Kazooie but I knew Yoshi would take it in the end. I don’t have any Gripes whatsoever and I hope the quality of all of this gets even better! (Just take a break so you don’t go to the hospital again) also the analysis for both were amazing. Can’t wait for the battle royal!
Interesting, I didn't know much about Banjo, so it was interesting to learn a couple of his abilities. However, I was always certain that Yoshi definitely had this battle. But those guest character appearances! Those caught me off guard xD
The yoshi's that appear in super mario sunshine are constructs of bowser jr.'s paint brush, seeing how they disintegrate when they touch water. This leads me to believe yoshi's do not naturally spray intestinal fluid.
That Smash Bracket was insane! I thought it was really interesting how both opponents were too durable to truely ko eachother. I can't wait for the Minecraft Battle Royale! I've been so excited ever since it was announced!
I really love the beginning of the battle with the fighter reveal being Crash, The Imposter, and Waluigi being one of the chosen fighters and the whole chairs in DK’s house but also with Yoshi saying “Nope” to Waluigi’s smash debut but what I also like is this Kazooie: “Your making him stronger!” Banjo: proceeds to use Kazooie as a gun
How much do you want to bet there's going to be some Banjo-Kazooie fans who say things that could beat Yoshi and there will probably be a refight like Sonic versus Fox
I honestly don’t count on it, sonic vs fox was a special case of people having pre existing thoughts on how the fight should go in any other rule set (which is sonic stomps hard it’s not even funny) and those didn’t come trough in the episode because of different rule sets, also I’m pretty sure there doing the fight again not because of sonic fans but because of a fox feat getting debunked.
I know all that is just that I have a felling that someone is going to point out something very important and than it is going to be like Sonic vs fox again but that is just a felling
As a banjo fan there really isn't a reason to do so. Most banjo fans just play the games for fun and don't care for this kinda stuff. Honestly I think many of the feats listed in this video are taken way too seriously. It's just a cartoon bear and bird doing cartoony hijinx.
I really love this. I’ve been watching your videos ever since I saw popit1s video. The opening is really funny too. Also you should’ve put in a reference to nuts and bolts. I loved the super Mario sunshine reference too, but no Mario galaxy references. Still looks great and I can’t wait for the next one
Damn, this episode was so much better than i expected! First of, the beginning was amazing! It being an omage too the banjo and k rool trailer was awsome and i loved the «i cant believe the budget was used for this» joke. Not too mention how them being launched too «some market» and them fighting there using the fruits was. Overtall this is probably my new second favorite episode behind ryu vs lucario, but i also feel like this episode might Even surpass it!
Great analysis so far! But I have a teensy tiny nitpick. There's a few editing mistakes. Like background clips playing a couple times in a row (and I don't mean them just restarting, their transition also replayed too where it kept zooming into the screen. And also you guys accidentally overlayed his feats at 8:04. Though once again, this is a great video! Those egg puns cracked me up! I'm sure this fight is going to be as great as Wario Vs. Lucas! Edit: This just might be my new favorite fight! Though I think the start kinda dragged on for a little too long

The thing I don't understand is that you clearly said how they survive being stomped, crashed, and exploded so the boulder shouldn't have been anything and Kazooie can break Boulders with her drill beak I'm pretty sure that they would have been able to take the boulder or destroyed before it can even hit them.
I've got to disagree with the outcome Banjo and kazooie clearly could have won easily with the wonderwing Basically in the games any enemy that gets in contact with the wonderwing instantly dies, with the exception of bosses, but that's only because of the circumstances that make using wonderwing against them impossible But in this particular instance, both banjo and yoshi are at an equal playing field, so all the bear and bird has got to do is to just have at least 1 golden feather and the second yoshi gets too close he gets KO'd instantly

Crossovers are typically considered not canon unless explicitly stated by the authord of both series to he canon. Like the crossover between Archie Sonic and Archie Megaman is confirmed to be canon by the authors.
I liked the part when the imposter killed crash bandicoot and then it turned out that the imposter was actually waluigi and then Yoshi killed waluigi and then started laughing like a human
This was amazing, loved the animation, the humor, and how close it was. I think you missed out a bit on not having Banjo and Kazooie separate and start tag teaming on Yoshi but it was still amazing no matter what!
Wow that battle was amazing I love the animation easily one of the best and I love how bango just punch Yoshi so hard he flew out of orbit that part was crazy I’m a little sad Yoshi lost but the animation totally makes up for it, great job.
This was an awesome battle. This was a match I was hoping would happen and I was rooting for both Yoshi and Banjo. I loved the animation and music for this battle (probably my favorite smash bracket ost). Out of all of the matches, this is probably my favorite one out of all of the smash bracket matches.
Absolutely loved this episode! One of my favorite Smash Bracket fights in the entire series. One question though: were the transformations the characters have factored into the fight in any way? Those being the vehicle bubbles for Yoshi and the Mumbo and Humba transformations for Banjo (including Dragon Kazooie).
Oh and tiny nitpick with the animation. I don’t like how Yoshi is characterized as a jerk at the beginning of the fight, when he’s typically portrayed as a selfless hero who only wants to help people (usually Mario and Luigi). But honestly it didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the fight and I still adored the animation. I’ve probably rewatched the fight like six or seven times by now.
We looked at the transformations for Banjo & Kazooie, but those are only accessible by having Mumbo use his wand on them or entering a transformation area, so its not something he was able to get access to here. Im glad you enjoyed it!
These videos have been really good and very entertaining. Personally I'm most excited to see my main since this would be their first time appearing in an animated vs match that I'm aware of.
One problem i have with the 4 player battle with Zombie, Steve, Alex and Enderman is just how very similar to each other and other categories. Zombie is just a decaying corpse (albeit with same HP and roughly same attack as steve and alex) and than Enderman who can lift blocks of gold as well as react to arrow shots. Problem being for both Enderman and Zombie is how experienced both steve and alex are to defeating them with the right equipment. Now for the real elephant in the room: Steve vs Alex in which *THEY ARE LITERALLY THE SAME CHARACTER* (as in they both share all the same feats to each other) Since both steve and alex both represent the player character, it would be a given that they would both have the same strength, speed durability, same items and tools, same levels of experience and intelligence AND same power. At the end, both of them could be interpreted as the same since it's up to the player's choice on their journey and battle. With that in mind, it would most likely tie both Steve and Alex in just overall power.

I hope the 820,511,887,000,306x light speed is only in Raphael Raven's Perspective. You could use the formula for special relativity and see that Raphael Raven is super close to light speed.

I really like how yoshi won 'cause of a Nintendo Power Comic and his ablilty to transform living beings into stars and platforms. It's about characters that I like more , the animation is way better , has an actual lore and story ( specially Kirby being beaten down all the time😂 ) and just have more story and jokes in episodes . A bit random and off topic for this smash bracket, but a fun fight I’d love to see is a battle royale of all the different Sonic clones (Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, Metal Sonic, etc.) duke it out so we can see which is actually superior (and maybe even comparable to Sonic himself.)
Such a nice episode clean animation and I don’t know much about banjo to really scale him so I agree on the decision rlly good still think mewtwo vs sephi was the best animation so far but this is a close second

Crossovers are typically considered not canon unless explicitly stated by the authord of both series to he canon. Like the crossover between Archie Sonic and Archie Megaman is confirmed to be canon by the authors.

This was incredible! Definitely worth the wait and the beginning of the fight was just perfect.
I liked the part when the imposter killed crash bandicoot and then it turned out that the imposter was actually waluigi and then Yoshi killed waluigi and then started laughing like a human
This was amazing, loved the animation, the humor, and how close it was. I think you missed out a bit on not having Banjo and Kazooie separate and start tag teaming on Yoshi but it was still amazing no matter what!
Wow that battle was amazing I love the animation easily one of the best and I love how bango just punch Yoshi so hard he flew out of orbit that part was crazy I’m a little sad Yoshi lost but the animation totally makes up for it, great job.

This was an awesome battle. This was a match I was hoping would happen and I was rooting for both Yoshi and Banjo. I loved the animation and music for this battle (probably my favorite smash bracket ost). Out of all of the matches, this is probably my favorite one out of all of the smash bracket matches.

Just got another favorite episode of Smash bracket. On par with Wario vs Lucas imo.
It was also an extremely funny battle.
Absolutely loved this episode! One of my favorite Smash Bracket fights in the entire series. One question though: were the transformations the characters have factored into the fight in any way? Those being the vehicle bubbles for Yoshi and the Mumbo and Humba transformations for Banjo (including Dragon Kazooie).
Oh and tiny nitpick with the animation. I don’t like how Yoshi is characterized as a jerk at the beginning of the fight, when he’s typically portrayed as a selfless hero who only wants to help people (usually Mario and Luigi). But honestly it didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the fight and I still adored the animation. I’ve probably rewatched the fight like six or seven times by now.
We looked at the transformations for Banjo & Kazooie, but those are only accessible by having Mumbo use his wand on them or entering a transformation area, so its not something he was able to get access to here. Im glad you enjoyed it!
9:24 kinda feel like it was a missed opportunity to have Diddy Kong where a bandage around his head from his fight with Greninja

Yeah, I'm guessing Banjo not being able to do much without Kazooie had something to do with it.
One problem i have with the 4 player battle with Zombie, Steve, Alex and Enderman is just how very similar to each other and other categories. Zombie is just a decaying corpse (albeit with same HP and roughly same attack as steve and alex) and than Enderman who can lift blocks of gold as well as react to arrow shots. Problem being for both Enderman and Zombie is how experienced both steve and alex are to defeating them with the right equipment.
Now for the real elephant in the room: Steve vs Alex in which *THEY ARE LITERALLY THE SAME CHARACTER* (as in they both share all the same feats to each other) Since both steve and alex both represent the player character, it would be a given that they would both have the same strength, speed durability, same items and tools, same levels of experience and intelligence AND same power. At the end, both of them could be interpreted as the same since it's up to the player's choice on their journey and battle. With that in mind, it would most likely tie both Steve and Alex in just overall power.
They are using the Minecraft novels in this fight which makes Zombie and Enderman stronger and differentiates Steve and Alex a bit more.

I really like how yoshi won 'cause of a Nintendo Power Comic and his ablilty to transform living beings into stars and platforms. I am extremely satisfied with the results of this informative video, it was very cool and I feel like I have learned some things because of this video.

A bit random and off topic for this smash bracket, but a fun fight I’d love to see is a battle royale of all the different Sonic clones (Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, Metal Sonic, etc.) duke it out so we can see which is actually superior (and maybe even comparable to Sonic himself.)
