Um, exiled from Westeros, not banned from being a Mormont. The only reason Jon got Longclaw was because when Jorah slipped away to avoid execution after he was sentenced to death for slavetrade, he left behind the sword knowing he didn't deserve it and his aunt sent it to his father Jeor at Castle Black. He may have given up his title of Lord of Bear Island, but he's still considered a Mormont, continuing to sport his sigil and oft described by Dany as her "bear."

Probably Joseph In the books they are even worse. There family is on the verge of collapse and it’s all thanks to the dumb bitch Lysa Arryn and her shenanigans with Littlefinger. Robyn is even more annoying and the only other family member alive besides him is Harold Arryn or Harry the heir and he’s just a cocky douchebag that only thinks about getting in Sansa’s pants/dress.

I feel like some family members survived after the doom. I hope some of them would appear on season 8 with another dragons... It would be amazing, the CGI budget will be high af lol. Just so u know there were three houses that originated from House Valeria. And one of them if House Targaryan. That's why most targaryans have dragon blood.

3. House Lanister-honored least because everything they've acquired came through works of betrayal, deceit, and ruthlessness.
And proudly so. There are no good Lanisters other than Tyrion, and S1+Jaime. Otherwise, specifically looking at Joffrey, Tywin and Cersei, they all lack honor and have to stab people in the back to get what they want! (I'm not including Tommen and Mycella).
Who cares about good? Its a tv show not real life. The all fun about game of thrones is the complex of the plot and characters...not who is loyal or brave. The whole thing is about who is smarter and thinks one step ahead. House Lannister has the best characters and thats why he is the best house.
No, I disagree. ON the contrary, the whole thing seems to send the message that even though you might win the battle through trickery, deceit, murder, manipulation, etc (traits used by Tywin, Cersei, Petyr Baelish, and even Margery), you are in the immediate danger of losing the war. Why? Because even though Margery wasn't evil, she did perfect the game of manipulation, and eventually, she was killed in the same game. Tywin and Baelish perfected the art of using cunning and ruthlessness to achieve their goals...and both were killed too, and no one cares for them. Cersei used Manipulation and cruelty to achieve her agenda, and not only did she lose all Three of her children who died as a direct consequence of the consequences she put in motion, but Cersei's lies and cunnning has now caused her to lose her most faithful defender and confident: Jaime. Furthermore, it is only a matter of time now that she will be assassinated. Everyone hates her and she can't go anywhere without guards. In short, unless Jaime breaks his kings guard oath and marries, the lanister's will become extinct.
However, though the Stark's lost a lot because of their honesty and integrity, they were the Only house which has made a big comeback. Four Stark children have returned. Arya has returned, Bran has returned, Sansa finally escape and is now the new lady of Winterfell, and Jon Snow not only returned from death, but was also made king in the North. And the Starks are one of the only house that all the seven kingsdoms still admire and respect the Starks, including the whole big North. Strangely, No One in the south loves the Lanisters
So frankly, it seems like even though the good ones get beaten around a lot, hurt, and murdered, they come back ten times triumphant.

On the issue of Top Houses tho..i thnk it shud b decided by how powerful/influential/significant each houses are when you do a sum total of thier characters both living n dead...considering this ..I beliv up until recently targaryans are 1... its lik they were designed to b rulers..their bloodline is filled with extremely powerful ppl n magic not to mention they where alrdy powerful n significant bck to d days of the first men.. also drawing from thier powerful bloodline magic they connect with the most powerful animal in the whole series Dragons...

My top 3 choices consist of the same houses but Lannister should be number 1 in my opinion. They were fighting 2-3 armies at the same time and still managed to win. They implicitly ruled the seven kingdoms for pretty much all the seasons so far. They have three of the most unique siblings and amazing characters in the show.

I love that scene where they find the Direwolves and Jon gets Eddard to spare them. They are among the last surviving Starks with Arya and Sansa and technically Jon.

I mean, I knew the Lannister's would be number 3 but I don't think they should be. The most interesting stories in my opinion have always revolved around the Lannisters. Tywin, Tyrion, Jaime and Cersei are all fascinating characters. In my opinion they are far more interesting thna the Starks and the Targaryens (unless we're counting history not exclusive to the series, then the Targaryens win).

Thank you for mentioning House Umber! They may not be as famous as these other houses, and Smalljon may have blackened their name in Season 6, but they're such badasses! They are the northernmost of the noble houses on the mainland and are the first to deal with the wildlings when they go over the wall. Also, the Greatjon is awesome. RIP Greatjon.

The Starks are my favorite house but the Baratheons were pretty cool too. They had a huge army and they're distant relatives with the Targaryens and in the history of westeros book you can see how close the Baratheons and Targaryens were in the past. They became a noble house because of their kinship and loyalty to the Targaryens

My top 5 houses are house Targaryen, Stark, Tyrell, Martell, and Mormont. Targaryens for just about everything that they're known for being their dragons, good looks, and fire. The Starks for their honor and wolves. The Tyrells for Lady Ollena alone and the Mormonts and Martells for training their females as well as their males. They see no distinction in that regard and produced many bad ass warrior women.
I think Margaery joins her grandmother as a mark in the plus category for the Tyrells. Both were very cunning and effective, and Margaery especially understood the value of ruling charitably, and gathering a loving following.

House Baratheon is probably the second most powerful house even stronger than the Lanisters , because after Robert died their troops were divided into three armies Stannis, Renly and Geofrey . The Targarians are of course No. 1 . and the starks are either 5th or 6th

There is nothing that amaze me but the Tyrells and Lannisters in the game. Lannisters played very well, until the end of the series, one member of the family continued the legacy.
In Tyrell's part, to be able to secretly and discreetly control aspects of the capital is one notable and scary character to have with. They are never truly rulers but their strategy in playing the game made me realize how scary they are. At one moment you are a free man. Then the Tyrells enter the picture, show a lil bit of affection for you, the next day, you're wrapped around their hands and made you do their bidding unconsciously. Now tell me it aint scary.
