This beautiful man was my cousin. I never got to meet him. I found out a few years ago we were related. In 1972, my mom and I went to Las Vegas so I could see the Osmonds. We drove past the hotel Elvis was preforming at, I didn't really know who he was (I was 14 at the time), but I loved his songs. Looking back I wish I could have gone to one of his concerts. I'm going through a rough time right now, but I believe Elvis and I are 12th cousins.

This was so incredibly beautiful. I've been an Elvis fan for a very, very long time. Saw the movies at the theaters, collected the records and played them over and over and over again. Someone in the neighborhood was playing the album That's The Way It Is and I heard it. I went over to that house and asked what record that was. I never heard an Elvis album like that one. He was a human being like the rest of us, with flaws, but God he was blessed with so much. Looks, style, talent, soul and heart. Elvis can never be duplicated or imitated. He was an original. A wonderful tribute to Elvis on his birthday. I was 17 when he died, so, I never had the opportunity to see him in concert or in person. Something I have deeply regretted. This world lost a remarkable person when he died.

This was so incredibly beautiful. I've been an Elvis fan for a very, very long time. Saw the movies at the theaters, collected the records and played them over and over and over again. Someone in the neighborhood was playing the album That's The Way It Is and I heard it. I went over to that house and asked what record that was. I never heard an Elvis album like that one. He was a human being like the rest of us, with flaws, but God he was blessed with so much. Looks, style, talent, soul and heart. Elvis can never be duplicated or imitated. He was an original. Happy Birthday, Elvis. I hope wherever you are you feel how much you're still admired and loved.
