Then you'll get a lot of people holding fire on an enemy just so when allies get them down to ~10% health people will try to steal the kill. "YEAHHH DoublE KrakeN!! LooK At MEEE" 10 kills and 45,000 damage (in a montana) big freaking deal. Especially if you still lose anyway (capped or whatever) because kill stealers held back so much meanwhile other members of thier team did more than 1:1 damage pulling thier weight. "I did my bit I got 10 kills", yes you killed a bunch of low health ducks congrats. Diminishing enemy numbers is good but not at the expense of your overall team health pool. Say you kill half the enemy team and the other half is on full health, Meanwhile all of your team is alive but on the last 10%. It doesn't take much for the enemy to one-shot your numbers down if they play smart, Thats why you see many Jingles uploads swing from 3 v 10 for it to go down to 2 v 6 and then 1 v 1, because the enemy was all on low health. Wear them down and its easy for any ally to give the final coup de gras. But stat padders will always go for kills first and foremost. I don't care, I'd rather have no kills but take 90% of the health off *all* the enemy and then my team can finish them off between them.

Following that logic an easy way to prevent overextending is rushing mid on two brothers. Because technichally you can't be shot by everyone there if anyone goes for a flank. I think on two brothers you should rush mid a little more Flambass xD
@BigLBA1 There is certainly some truth to that. I played a game in my Monty the other day and got top of the board with 167k damage in a win...and zero kills. Next game was in my Iowa with 3 kills and less than 80k. A game like this is a combination of skill and luck. I tip my hat to the man.
There needs to be muppetry on both sides, tbh. Your side needs to be just slightly less shit than the enemy team, to keep from roflstomping to victory in 8 minutes. The best games are the ones where both sides trade relatively evenly until the last few minutes of the match and one side does something desperate to win.
My dear Jingles for u and the nerds among us: IFHE does a wonderful job on Massachusetts (21mm pen without, 27with) which makes most cruisers u encounter melt quite good...oh and british lower tier bbs^^; happy new year to u and rita and the buggering rodents;)
I run my Massa with IFHE instead of Manual Secondaries, you still hit most of your secs but as you already said, cruisers melt before your eyes and I value that trade more than the increased hit chance
@@memento_mori_22 Not yet, I only have IFHE for around 7 matches and so far there wasn't enough battles to really see a difference but when a cruiser came in range, he took way more damage then before so it was noticeable. I will keep monitoring it though. But what I could notice already was that the reduced fire chance is noticeable.

When I was a kid we happened to be driving over that bridge when I spotted the top of the Massachusetts' mast and my parents pulled over to see what it was. I can't remember where we were going or if we had to be there at a certain time but I was excited enough that my parents basically took the whole day to visit there. It was really cool :)

I love this channel, I love the game but it’s like an episode of battlefield 360 or WW2 in color documentaries. I really haven't really figured out how Captains work but I'm glad I saved all my Commander XP flags and camos so I can make headway when I figure it out. Jingles! I love your videos! Jingles, long-time viewer (and lurker)! Yes, I am in fact that Mogami at the beginning of the kill spree in this video (they do say its cathartic to laugh at oneself...). In this match I was trying to scout out A (perhaps, even to cap), since our DDs had spawned much further north and went to B/C. It seemed like an okay idea at the time, since Mogami does have a decently small spotting radius (for a cruiser). By the time things developed to where I was spotted I had unfortunately overextended (the support I was promised never materialized in significant form), since the team largely ignored A. I did try giving it my all to wiggle the tush to get away but I figured I was doomed at that point... I didn't actually watch the rest of the match (I quit out after dying; grinds and all...), but I only became aware that I starred (to my detriment) in this clip once some of my friends pointed it out. Anyways, fair winds and following seas, Rear Admiral Jingles! (from one navy man to another) *goes back to salt mines*
I've been on the real USS Massachusetts. It's part of a museum harbored at Fall River, MA. I even got to explore parts most people don't because my best friend's dad did work for a WWII destroyer vet group. This somehow gave him all access at the museum. The thumbnail even has what appears to be the Braga Bridge in the background.

BB-59. I've actually been on her. A beautiful ship. She is berthed in Fall River Massachusetts. About a two and a half hour drive from where I live :) My son and I slept overnight on the Destroyer Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. DD-850. Also a short distance away is the Lizzie Borden house, which I have been in also for a paranormal investigation.
ODM one of the top clans in WOW. That was beyond impressive. There really should be some type of rare award/medal for killing this many ships in one match.

SInce a few updates now the 105mm guns of Bismarck and Tirpitz have 1/4 HEpen (as you said) so that means that they can penetrate up to 25mm plates while the Massachusetts can only pen up to 20mm plates. This means that technically you need IFHE even less on Bismarck and Tirpitz than Massachusetts, but ofc, with IFHE the Massachusetts is only capable of penetrating of plates up to 27mm while the german 105mm guns can pen up to 33mm.
The Massachusetts is surprisingly good at yeeting destroyers. I don’t know exactly why but my theory is that DD captains see her as an easy target; a big lumbering BB with a mediocre health pool. So they get overconfident and commit to a torpedo attack which is often inside her secondary range if its running advanced firing training. And presto, dead DD.
Jingles can you help me by giving me a quick tip on how to use a battleship better? It’s just seems that whenever I try to play my big ships my shooting performance just takes a massive dive. My shells always seem to deal chip damage and are hardly effective even against smaller ships. I swear I consistently hit my target but I ALWAYS get chip damage even with AP shells and I seems that whenever I get shot the shells always do massive damage to me and leaving me absolutely dumbstruck on WTF just happened. Is it because the PS4 version is just jacked up on shell mechanics compared to PC version?? I honestly need a hint or two cause I’m about to give up all together on this game even tho I adore it. I just tired of constantly feeling like I’m getting screwed.
Actually Jingles, the Massachusetts fires the same ammunition from the same guns as the North Carolina and Alabama. The Iowa and Montana have different guns with higher shell velocity and different shells with more penetration and damage (13,500 vs 13,100). Okay I'll go back to the salt mines now.
I cross braga bridge everyday and see big mamie on battleship cove, visit a few times but I don't know if because I see it too often but for me looks more impressive on the game then in person.

I had a few matches against the Massachusetts in the 1v1 sprint... Even with my Bismarck fully for secondary build even IFHE, this ship scared me because of the guns 11.3km is pretty close to get for those... wasn't fun....
I remember when I got a Kraken on my destroyer and thought it was the top of any game I'd ever played... then I see stuff like this and I realize I'm probably in the 40th percentile of the game.
Why does everyone assume you have to have a Battleship Captain in a Premium Battleship? Unlike Tanks, there's no class requirement in Warships, you can put any captain in a Premium without reduction. You put your destroyer captains in the Mass, the Krazny Krim, and other secondary heavy ships.

Actually Jingles, the Massachusetts fires the same ammunition from the same guns as the North Carolina and Alabama. The Iowa and Montana have different guns with higher shell velocity and different shells with more penetration and damage (13,500 vs 13,100).

I had a few matches against the Massachusetts in the 1v1 sprint... Even with my Bismarck fully for secondary build even IFHE, this ship scared me because of the guns 11.3km is pretty close to get for those... wasn't fun....
As an Azur Lane player the mental image of the Massachusetts with 4 Fletchers tied to her is pretty funny
I remember when I got a Kraken on my destroyer and thought it was the top of any game I'd ever played... then I see stuff like this and I realize I'm probably in the 40th percentile of the game.

Why does everyone assume you have to have a Battleship Captain in a Premium Battleship? Unlike Tanks, there's no class requirement in Warships, you can put any captain in a Premium without reduction. You put your destroyer captains in the Mass, the Krazny Krim, and other secondary heavy ships.
