We’re starting off 2024 with another fun RUclips collaboration!
It’s the beginning of March, spring has sprung, so we bring you this very scenic Pennsylvania adventure! @MaksimOutdoors was kind enough to invite me to a cabin at Ricketts Glen State Park. Joining us also; @HikingwithRicky
When thinking of Ricketts Glen, most will immediately gravitate towards the “Falls Trail,” and for good reason. Here though, we’re showing you another fun trail located at this scenic state park.
The Laurel View Trail is a short loop trail located on Red Rock Mountain. This trail features an old fire tower, and scenic vistas. We were able to locate the fire tower quite easily, but the best views required a bit more of a search.
While not the most awesome trail at Ricketts Glen, this Laurel View Trail proved to be worth the hike. Quite a bit of bang for your buck, should you decide to hike this loop! Thanks, as always, for watching!

I finally got to sit down and watch this! Great short episode showcasing a lesser known trail at Ricketts Glen I’m sure folks overlook (no pun intended) that trail was a lot of fun and glad you got to join us, looking forward to our next journey (Sam is down for minister creek)

as soon as I saw the tower, I thought to myself, "I want to climb that!"
I'm with you, they should be refurbished so we can all enjoy the view from the tower. Nice video!!
I think it would be cool to see many of these refurbished. I know in a lot of other states you can climb them, and we’ve got very expansive view from them. It could bring a lot of interest to some of these places!

Nice. We have rented the cabins at Rickett's Glen before and really enjoyed staying in them. Will have to check out this trail next time we visit the park. Looks like it had some nice views.
The cabins there are really nice, I was really impressed with the one we were at. This was a really easy trail with some awesome views, I definitely recommend it!

It’s a nice little trail, definitely worth doing if you’re up there again.
I like a lot of things about the GoPro, I’m finding that I’m using it more than expected. Should be a great addition to the channel!
