i really cant wait for the G91, it is the aircraft i would see everyday near my house when a kid, i grew up in a Portuguese airforce base, my father was in the airforce, i love this aircraft so much and the a7-corsair as well was there too.
I am actually glad that Polychop is looking for a 3D artist. The Flight model feels solid and i enjoy it very much, but the 3D model and textures requires a visual update to be on par with other modules. I saw a long in depth post on the forum that big 4K textures are not optimized which affects performance and visuals.
I would pay all the money for a high fidelity F-105D. It would be the perfect role/capability set for DCS. Sadly, it’s unlikely to ever happen for the 105.
I was thinking "F-106“ too, but then... The F5 is more versatile and capable. The Dart would be fun to fly, but a PIA to fight only loaded with ONLY AIM-4's.
@ I think Microsoft is definitely priming their audience for a combat sim in the near future. Maybe that’s one reason ED doesn’t provide modules for Microsoft.
Arguably public awareness of interested parties is a good thing, though. Deliberate disinfo is another matter, but getting a heads-up on potential trouble isn't entirely bad imo.
Thanks for another great update Andrei. I just got my new Crystal Light and love the view from my F18. I initially used the HIP discount code but didn't complete the order, then PIMAX offered me that discount plus another $30 off so I went for it. You inspired me to get it so thank you. Btw I saw the clip in this video from Miami Vice and remember that episode. The scene you clipped from was when Sonny Crockett's first Ferrari was blown up by an arms dealer during a 'demo'. Happy skies 🙂
Hence why the Strike Eagle was my last 3rd-party EA module from developers with whom I have had little to no personal experience previously. Heatblur has earned my trust with a solid track record, as did ORBX (from other sims). As for the rest, I'm sorry, but I'll wait for a finished product - as much as I may long to get my greedy paws at some of those announced modules. Edit: I know, *technically* the Kiowa isn't "Early Access".
@@RocketToTheMoose there was a twin engine variant, basically a new aircraft, didn't sell outside the Italian Aeronautica IIRC, most were the older single engine
My thousand yard view of these things are that 3rd party developers are getting tired of the deals ED is giving them, and probably are struggling with labor costs specifically. It’s not a strike at ED, moreso the broken economy of contract work.
Well in 2025 I plan to go to the gym, start walking/running a mile a day and lose 20 pounds. Maybe date a supermodel. Or maybe skip the gym, walk to the mailbox and gain 30 pounds.
Well, since PTaF was the only country that used the G91 in a war… should we have a map to operate it??? It was in Africa in Guinea and Angola south part of Africa.
I feel like DCS is circling the drain. If this years beyond video doesn't confirm the dynamic campaign release, it might be time for me to find something else to do.
i dont understand smth > there isn't much competition. MSF2024 is pure trash actually (they don't even think about doing a flight combat simulator again) even if it will eventually happen not tommorow...and other games like IL2 / XPLANE etc are not the same level. but coming back to DCS: the game is really good / ok we always want more but / there's so much to do / the community seems really cool. we're having fun and the potential is enormous. Let's hope that they will take an example from great companies like LARIAN STUDIO who respect their players and give 1000000% so that we can have fun / and get the most beautiful / ambissious combat simulation in the world ^^ and that they don't end like games : ELITE DANGEROUS. a game which had enormous potential wasted by so many bad decisions and which takes players for money pumps. as someone would say: TIME WILL TELL ^^
@@Broeils I think I had it enough with Razbam modules... this video came at the best possible moment to prevent me from making another mistake. Big thanks to HIP!
DCS and Drama, name a hotter couple. Not even going to speculate on Polychop situation, I just hope things don't go all the way to hell.
Or Discord War Thunder Forums and Top Secret information...like PB&J.
CiG (Star Citizen) and Drama ... it seems Drama is looking for trouble everywhere.

Absolutely fantastic channel that keeps getting better.
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for sharing
Just grabbed my coffee - good way to start the day.
Well said, Andrei! Thank you!

Omg I'm soooo glad we're eventually going to have some century series jets. Here's to hoping we'll get an F-106 one day!

Another great show HIP - thanks for your work
I feel like Eagle Dynamics just needs to take all modules in-house and sell ED modules to other games like Microsoft Flight Simulator.

That didn't look like the G.91R which had only one engine and no reheat. Thought we'd get that version
the video is a model one... not an actual representation since we don't have yet a Video for the GINA, but still - cannot wait
@hipgames I hope for the R model since I have access to a T3 front cockpit for reference when building a sim pit.
The one with the burner is the G-91Y , if armed with sidewinders it’s the YS version which was proposed to the Swiss Air Force

Huh...I always assumed the G.91 had a single engine. Guess I'd only ever seen it in profile.
The videos were for showcase reason only and come from the VSN trailer by Beserker as noted in the left corner
@@hipgames Wait, so they don't have twin engines? What an odd detail to add then.

They’re developing a G.91Y? I assumed it was a single engine version, actually slightly more hyped now
No, its the single engine still...the video you saw is a representation of the vsn mod just for showcase

Ah, my bad - that’s what you get for treating it more like a podcast and only glancing at it occasionally.
No worries, I totally get it. Will make sure to specify better next time :)
