Interesting video Carl! I keep hearing from other experts that short form content (videos, texts, etc) is becoming more like the standard these days. I've noticed your articles are quite long (3500+ words on average). Do you think long form content is still the way to go? Just curious what your thoughts are on this. I'm still writing long form articles myself as well.
I honestly think that number is wrong. I think it’s more like 1900-2200 words we are looking into the tool inside the theme.
I think long form is still valid for some content as short form can be done too quickly now with ai. Original long form content will still put perform that. However, video could be huge soon. I’ve a few videos out soon about videos and silo content that you might like.
I chose a niche that is passively related to travelling but is primarily a hobby. I started with zero search volume keywords. I am barely publishing 1 article a day (I suck at writing content and spend too much time overthinking in order to perfect every sentence). Should I ramp up my content writing or go at the current pace?
Go for quality. I’d rather publish 1 works class article a week than 10 terrible ones
Well done. That is a huge amount of work and a lot of progress in a very short timeframe. Is this "ever-green" content or do you expect a lot of work keeping everything up to date in the future? Looking forward to more income reports and the video about the keyword discovery too.
99% evergreen apart from the news posts but we don’t write many of those and they are only 500-600 words anyway
Getting so close to that 10k subscriber mark. Also, I really like the income reports. It's very motivating to see what people ahead of me on the journey are doing.

The Booking affiliate program has major disadvantages. It is session based, rarely the user end up with a booking from the first visit. Also, we all know the booking policy that allow to cancel the reserved property. That means you watch the hardly earned bookings get cancelled and your profit goes down.

Using it for a first draft and content ideas is fine just don’t use it for 100% production.
