Starting from Scratch with a niche website or Pivoting?

- If your website was hit in the HCU or March core Google Update then it may be time to start from Scratch?
May be you should even consider Pivoting to something new.
Niche website owners have been sat on the fence for far too long, it's time to decide what to do next.

You so right carl, in this case I think if its broke, leave it and find other options, personally because I love blogging I have decided to try and get traffic using other media platforms to my sight and also narrowing down to smaller more specific niches.

I agree. Find a really profitable affiliate program or product and build a small niche site hyper focused on that one product and use social media to drive traffic 🏆 winner 💰

Finally I got someone willing to tell the truth...anyone who's afraid to hear should kill their blogging future. Go start a fresh, secondly google is not the only traffic source, go try others for your old big blogs, maintain your old content but change your domain name also you can get a new domain and copy, adjust alittle and paste on the new site. You can also just wait for some months while google should settle...we all don't know yet about all this revolution seo and blogging stuff, when we know then we start the new blogging world. It's actually weird that one of the sites I've started about 1 year ago, started ranking for the first time after the March update and is climbing slowly. None of my other sites have been hit hard either. Only one of them is slowly fading, but that's because I don't put a lot of effort into it. Maybe my sites will get hit soon. I don't use AI to produce content. I'm actually building a new website now, but my main focus won't be SEO.

Hey Carl, My website got hit as well. Without wasting more time on recovering it, put my time and energy into my other business (travel). I registered a travel company in Sri Lanka by partnering with a wildlife expert and building a team. We design and operate tours (wildlife, leisure, and cultural tours). We are doing well in it. Currently looking for UK company or individual to partner with (3rd highest visits to Sri Lanka are from the UK). I know you are in both travel and wildlife niches, shall we have a chat and see whether we can have a partnership?

@@MarcP5267 Being white hat is not going to help. Many white hat websites have the same fate with the updates.
yeah i think they are tbh
@@krod16 but they still copied the same methods that have been all over youtube these last few years to build and populate their sites with content. They sent out the same signals as the spam sites to google.

This is my take. I was involved with the updates years ago which did the same thing to a lot of affiliates. What happened was you had to start from scratch and build sites more honestly aka white hat. My take is the same thing happened now. Not saying you haven’t been doing things dishonestly but you have to make sure you’re 120% white hat. No semi gray hat links etc etc etc.
So like many others we had to start all over.
Being white hat has nothing to do with getting hit with the updates. Plenty of 100% white hat websites have been hit.
