Works perfectly! Quick question: How do I add additional APs? When you setup the Station at 21:46 you chose the SSID of the AP. If I have more than one AP, won't there be multiple options? Thanks!
Hi, I had this setup installed by FarmFi a local installer 2 years ago and it worked perfectly. 4 months ago I had to replace my router in the house by my internet provider, now I have a password for it to work, before I never had one. After they changed my router, I no longer have internet in my shop, which is 1000 feet away from house. Farmfi has not responded since 12-01-22. So I am going to try to figure it out. Can you help?
Hi. I believe you called my office. I'm more than happy to help. Based on what you wrote here, I think FarmFi setup static IP on. After changing your router, the IP is not the same, therefore you shop has no internet.
Sure. Not even mentioning that they broadcast a WiFi network for 15 minutes after you power them on? Seems like good info, especially if someone has already mounted their devices. Don't need a default gateway when configuring. Using the default username is leaving yourself open for brute force attack. Seem very confused about channel width. Narrow channel is more efficient, but slower. Wider channel, higher throughput is possible, but more likely to be negatively impacted by interference. Best choice will vary by environment and preference. Power output, you chose 3 because you don't like negative numbers? Why 3? No mention that you should avoid overpowering because it will actually make your signal seem better but actually be worse. Second AP's power should be the same as the first one, not just because you like 3. Firmware updates? You called the AP a camera. Alignment?
Thank you for this. Helped me a lot
