There’s this brand new apartment building that I’ve been lowkey stalking ever since last year when it was constructed . I instantly fell at home when I toured it. Rent is like 2k a month but hella rich people live there and i feel it’s a great networking opportunity. Anyways, They’d have art shows, and open houses I’d show up. Giveaways on their social for free months of rent I’d participate everytime. And I never would win. And everytime I’d try to save money to move there something would come up and I’m back to square one Overtime I started to lose hope and assume maybe this place isn’t for me after all Fast forward to now. They’re down to their last few units. And no specials towards the end of the year. This inspired me I think imma either call or pull up again on another tour and just ask to see if they can work with me. Units are no good just sitting around vacant they need somebody it. And that somebody should be me
That’s awesome. Never hurts to ask and remember you’re the one with the leverage. They need to fill the spot, maybe you can negotiate on other terms. But also, maybe that spot is the only place you can network and share your talents. Plenty of other places too if the plan leads you elsewhere. Let me know how it goes!!
Most people are just moving through the world on their own mission. If you don’t communicate what you want, don’t expect it to just appear. Shamelessly ask for what you want even if it means you may be rejected. ✨
Great viewpoint. I've been a photographer for years. I lived in NYC (until a few years ago) and if I saw someone on the street who I thought was interesting looking I'd ask them if they'd ever want to come to the studio for a portrait. 99.9% of the time I was refused. If someone said no to me I wouldn't give it another thought. But if I passed up the chance to ask someone because I was afraid I'd be refused it would sit with me for days....
I love that. It’s tough knowing most people would say no, but I often find the reward is greater than the fear of rejection. Great job! Do you still shoot photography? 😄

Hahahaha yes. It’s a superplastic ghost figure I think. 😂
And thanks for appreciating the light diffusion. I thought nobody would notice that.
