This one moment revealed so much about Dozer. He didn’t like to talk because he had a speech impediment. He probably learned to be tough from fending off people mocking him. And Rocky is so kind and loyal to him, that he’s willing to say the words just for him. It’s a beautiful scene, and the actor brought a lot of heart to the role.
Brings me to tears when Doze spoke to Rocky, telling him how proud he is of him for graduating Junior High🥹! Dozer really loves Rocky like a little brother. He looks out for him when people mess with him, and he never lets him down! Not just Doze, Gar, Red & all the other Bikers that made Rocky feel like he’s family🥹. Rocky is so Blessed!
I’ve always felt the same way, but a part of me feel this movie just wasn’t the real story of Rocky. As far as I know, Gar and Dozer were fictional characters. Rocky also had another brother that died from AIDS, but his mother was much like Rusty in this. A strong-willed, no-nonsense woman on the outside, but a tender heart for her kids.
I will forever bawl like a baby at this scene! Dozer reminds me so much of my Daddy with his physical stature. Looks mean as hell, but is really a teddy bear. Daddy was the exact same way. We wore this movie out to the point we could both quote the entire thing. I put this movie on when I’m missing him. Kinda feels like I can hear him say he’s proud of me. Rip Daddy and Dozer! 💕
They wouldn’t just make that up for no reason If It didn’t happen😂😂, I know biopics usually mess things up, but nothing as significant as those bikers in the movie would be fake
except after camp. he tells his mom and everyone, he met a girl, she is beautiful, .....and she loves me. his mom looks at him and asks, "whats not to love?" omg i love that scene too. she was such a great mom!
@@hippychic7546 Me too .love this scene and Gar's whistle after Rocky said he met a girl.. " waouhhhhh😅😅 " it made me smile..Touching scene.he is so happy for Rocky he considers like a son.. Beautiful..😍😍
God I cry every time I see this scene. Dozer really cared about Rocky ever since he was born…his child like mind made him so sensitive and I love the scene when he drops him off at school and immediately these students start bullying Rocky about his face and Dozer just gets up and walks up to them like he is about to go full Hulk on them and they run away in fear…then he just simply turns around and gets back on his motorcycle. I think in a way he related to Rocky because I am sure he was bullied because of having a very hard time being able to talk and again…he was child like…on the outside he was this tough intimidating guy he really had a huge loving heart and overall so much love on the inside.
This scene meant so much to me. I shed a few tears when I saw this in the theater. When I was a little boy I had a real bad speech impediment and the other kids would make fun of me in school. My father hired a speech therapist and I went to speech therapy for three years. I'm now alot older and you could never tell that at one time I stuttered really bad. 🙊
For me, my down stairs tenant is always cooking Indian food when I see this scene. That onion truck, and my tenant both love to work when this movie is on TV.
I know it was always a favorite of mine to. I went to google to see where you could watch it and it said on Amazon. So I went there and when I found the movie it said it was unavailable. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find it streaming anywhere else.
This movie is such a lesson for all . Esp. In this generation . The young man will always be an inspiration an remembered for his stamina an good heart . ❤️
@@skeetervalentine1885 not all of them engage in those actitivies. You are very misinformed. I have several biker friends who always have my back and accept me as who i am. They are not involved with those actitivies you mentioned.
Growing up, people celebrated every little accomplishment that I made no matter how insignificant or undeserving it may have been. If I had been a normal child people would not have cared. It gave me an over inflated view of myself.

This scene is very touching.
Yes, I touched myself during this scene
The late Dennis Burkley, who played Dozer, was a great actor. He even did voiceover work for King of the Hill.
Also played as Fred Sanford’s best bud and business partner in the Sanford & Son spin-off”Sanford”.
@@edwardturner4311 he was so funny on that show.
Oh he was in so many shows, a real legend.
Wonderful actor. Also great as Theo in Son in Law.
loved him

I hope he really had those bikers as friends in real life. The way they looked after him was amazing.
Alot of bikers are misfits themselves so they are very welcoming with people
I heard growing up it was true the bikers were there

Probably my favorite part of the movie

Great movie. My dad took me to see it when it came out.
Rocky had many father figures that cared about him

Such a cute cuddly teddy bear!
Everyone should have a friend like Doze. Otherwise known as B. D. Higgins. ( Bull Dozer )
Goddamned onion truck drives by every time I watch this scene.
Dam onion’s
Damn those onions!!!!!!
These damn onions man
For me, my down stairs tenant is always cooking Indian food when I see this scene. That onion truck, and my tenant both love to work when this movie is on TV.
My house is surrounded by ten square miles on onion fields.
When two pure hearts meet
HEARTFELT THE WHOLE MOVIE...... 💚🤘💪
THANK YOU
I am tearing up watching this. Shame that big guy is now dead. RIP
I could truly use someone like “Dozer” in my life. :)>
Dozer was cool. He had Rocky’s back!!!
Such a sad but yet happy movie.
Dozer is the man 💪🏻

How that guy could barely talk that is probably the most touching scene in that movie Gosh love him
This part is so heartwarming made me cry
Even Gar wanted to cry in this scene.
The biggest guys have the biggest hearts
Beautiful scene
I love this movie. This scene makes me cry.
I Often wonder when Rocky died the real rocky if it really hurt dozer. Because from the scene those are really loved Rocky
I absolutely loved Dennis Burkley. Outside this movie, he reminded me a lot of actor/musician Mickey Jones.
Funny you say that, same here, I used to always get those 2 mixed up all the time.
This movie is such a lesson for all . Esp. In this generation . The young man will always be an inspiration an remembered for his stamina an good heart . ❤️
All you need is love, as he song says.
Gotta watch it full to really appreciate; but the welling eyes of their crowd helps with the context...!
Best movie made me cry
Dozer is one character that can make anyone cry. Excuse me, I have something in my eye.
Say what you will about Bikers! But when it comes to kids they, don't play! I can promise you that! This certainly was a great part of the film!
Other than the murders, drug dealing and terrorizing towns they are just big ol' teddy bears, so misunderstood.

🥰🌹🌹🌹eu te procuro!
This movie is amazing all the trials and tribulations Rocky had to deal with
Best scene in the movie! Well besides Diane telling Rocky that he looked pretty good to her.
This scene goes to show that a look of a man doesn’t define who he really is
An overt trait usually conceals its opposite
I personally think that was the best scene in the movie. Tear jerker for sure
Those are the best lawyer in town
What a effen great movie Bro!!! Serio!!
One of the best movie scenes ever
Dozer’s the best!
One of the deepest scene I ever Seen!
All heart this movie
This movie fucking rocks !!
I would have hung out with Rocky
OH this was so sweet
OMG I'm dying over here!!! 😭🤧
Me when the teacher would call on me in class
Rocky did not look horrifying like the Elephant Man.
This movie is so good but I have not seen it in forever. What scandal/business issue made it unavailable?
Very sad what happened to Rocky. What happened to Dozer is he still around?
His name is Dennis BURKLEY he passed some years back hes a great actor RIP
@@efrainzavala1919 I'm sure he is, but I was talking about the real Dozer.

Doze gave him a dog in the movie too i think.
We have a lawyer, yeah Dozer
Who left a bowl of onions here?!
That dude with grey hair on tha rite side of Rocky he plays on ghost rider with Nicolas cage
Sam Elliot. If you thought he was good in this, you should see him playing Virgil Earp in Tombstone or The Stranger in The Big Lebowski.
B. D. Higgins at his Best. 💪

The truth was Rocky Dennis suffered from severe facial swelling being jumped into his local MC.

Wow that was gay. The few 1% bikers I knew anything about were dangerous criminals to be avoided. Who are these ladies??
I know really? LOL! They seem like a bunch of ladies at a tea party.
My comment won't go up! I said I agree. A bunch of ladies at a tea party! LOL!
Guess you missed out on the whole point of scene. It would go over your head you idiot.
You know there's different kinds of bikers clubs and not all of them are a bunch of meth-dealing criminals, right?
I think an aspect of this scene is that Dozer had his issues as well. But they all loved each other.
This movie would be picked apart somehow by this fucked up society

This never happened. Rocky Dennis never got passed the fifth grade, was illiterate and nearly blind. He had the comprehension of a five year old.
Wrong youre stupid!! Rocky graduated junior high school with honors ..just find out and do reseatch stupid man ..
