    The guy at Films At Home is wrong. This transfer is amazing. Because of this comparison, Im buying it!

      Yeah FAH didn't give it perfect score on IQ because the original negatives were lost in the 1978 Eastman House Fire. I'd say it is a placebo effect because one of three negative strips that technicolor cameras used indeed survived and has been the 4K scan utilized for the HD and now UHD versions. So, I still consider it almost as good as true source. The color temperature is less warm (cooler) and more pinkish on the 4K, but the rest looks outstanding and far superior than the blu-ray. HDR colors really pop.

    The colors on the 4k Blu-ray is boosted to high.
