I am glad you are doing your business wastewater correctly. I have been cleaning with FULL Filtration since 1992 with our filtration for large parking structures at 80 GPM. GOOD GOING !!!!
I did a deep dive and studied the laws and got a good understanding of what was necessary to remain legal as well as eco-friendly and spent the money to get the proper equipment. that’s awesome that you do the same thing man
Most of the big box stores all want waste water filtration and coke and beer dist. Also
I bid a job for coke here and target store in north west Louisiana both said all the water had to be filtered at the time I had 2 vac trucks and was going to use one of those but I did not get the job.
The coke job was washing all the trucks eighteen wheeler and delivery vans and delivery trucks.
Would have been so many each week.
The target store was some parking lot sidewalks and dumpsters areas once a quarter but all that has to be reclaimed. Neither one likes my price but when your on a job sometimes at night with 2 to 3 guys and equipment you have to charge for it. I not working for free 100 dollar bill don’t cover much when your running that much fuel, labor and equipment.

You are exactly right man in order to get these large contracts like Walmart and target and city and government. You have to have reclamation and filtration services and plus it’s federally regulated as well as I’m sure you already know judging by your comment. I’m glad to see that you guys are on top of it, and are professionals and I need to make more videos on reclamation. There is not enough videos out there and especially since it is a federal law. People need to realize there’s laws even though people don’t like them or speak of them THEY EXIST and it costs money to
PROPERLY OPERATE LEGALLY AND ETHICALLY all it takes is getting in trouble. One time they cost you up to $50,000 per day. They are more enforced in some areas than others.

Also found with permission of property management you can also reclaiming dump the water in an oil water separator or a drainage for the car wash if needed

Could you get the a similar result if you had a special surface cleaner with a hose that went into landscape or a barrel?
That is a good question they make surface cleaners that have a hose that come out of the top and I will actually be getting one soon and making a video on it
Yes, it's called a venturi valve
Where does the oil go? In the filters on the side of the unit?
It goes through the multiple filters through the top, and then comes out the side into a designated container or you can run it off to a designated spot away from drains. “ONCE ITS FILTERED AND CLEANED OF COURSE”
Do you know what the dimensions and rough weight is of this unit? I can't find any information about this online

When u started doing gas stations did u use a reclamation system?
Yes, we’ve had the reclaimed system for a long time and I encourage getting it if you’re getting into commercial cleaning. A lot of people don’t have them matter fact I don’t know of any near me, but it is very much important.
When you first started out did you have this unit or you built up to it ?
We purchased it already built ,the company is out of California

$50k? Damn, its only $10k a day in california. I got rolled on years ago cleaning up a concrete job. I was just a grunt for the concrete company.
Last time I checked it was $50,000 federally enforced. Clean water act 1972 , a lot of places, enforce it more than others, and some places have additional fines, state and locally! That’s why I tell people it’s best to stay safe and compliant, even though most don’t because it’s expensive to buy this equipment but we have to do what’s right
Where are you supposed to dispose of the waste water?

How much is that reclaim machine
They run around 4-5 k starting out for a model like mine, I have a hydrotek EV 55 and it’s a little beast that pumps 12 GPM and filters the dirty water back to clear again 💦
