Hello! Just wanted to tc come back and tell you all of my anxiety symptoms are completely gone. It’s a lot of work mentally, but it’s definitely possible for anyone to do. It can take time for sure but definitely worth it. It’s been about 10 months since I had my first panic attack ever, and about five months of applying the techniques. Knowing that you could do it, and remembering your story, really helped me through the tough times. I know if I ever get a panic attack, I should never be afraid of it again because I know what to do and how to get out of the cycle. Thank you so much again!

When I started going into menopause, and a hot flash was coming on, I’d get that panicky fight or flight feeling. It was horrible. I spent a year of my life with that happening, also sweating and always being hot, that I went on hrt. I stayed on that for 3 years, weaned myself off of it completely this past fall and thank God the panicked feeling had not come back, although I can get hot flashes occasionally but they’re not severe anymore. Ive noticed that if I dwell on it when it’s happening, it gets worse. I try to ignore them, keep busy with what I was doing, and for the most part, they’re ok. Mind over matter is a big part of getting through a lot of things in life. Glad you got out of that.

I have suffered with anxiety and panic off and on since 1999 . It takes me about a year or a little more it get it under control and then I can go for several years and live my life . High stress will bring it back and it always takes over my life and I can hardly leave the house . The meds didn’t work for me either . I have been struggling for several months again and I’m beginning to get a little better . I’m definitely going to try doing this ! Thank you for the video . Anxiety and panic attacks can be so scary . Now my biggest thing is feeling weird / not normal some days I can get it to go away and other days it will hang on . I guess it’s like brain fog everything around me seems strange . I’ve had all the other symptoms too , the freaking out , racing heart , skipping heart , being lightheaded , scared etc I could keep going . I’m so ready to get back to my normal life again !! Exercise , prayer and journaling all help me as well ! Thanks again :)

Wow.... I am crying right now.
Yesterday I was in so much emotional pain to the point that I was laying in bed crying, screaming in anger, I was so angry at God to the point of cussing Him out, I felt so abandoned and so alone with all this anxiety.
I thought that God had left me, I was so close at giving up on Him.
For months I have been seeking help from God to overcome my severe anxiety and panic attacks.
I turned to Him to guide me towards my healing. I often told God that I didn't want to take medication, that I was afraid of the side effects.
I just hoped that He would guide me towards a natural solution.
Yesterday I was about to give up and I was about to get medication.
Until today, when I cried out to God for His forgiveness and for help, I saw your video. And I didn't even know that you were a Christian.
Something inside me told me to click on it and listen.
Then when I heard you say that you were praying the same prayer, for God to show you something that would help without medication and that you were guided by God to give us this information, I started crying!
And in my spirit I now know that He has not forgotten about me! 😭
    Thank you Jesus!! ❤️

A really great way to overcome a panic attack is to re frame the perceived threat from fear into excitement both of these emotions are so similar that the brain is easily fooled into releasing positive hormones that help overcome the panic attack.

I decided to wean myself off Lexapro last August after being on it for almost 11 years! I did it very slowly and it’s been a few months now without it and I’m doing well. I was so scared to go off if it and for years told myself I needed it, that I better not go off of it even though the reason I went on it on the first place was over! I wanted to be able to think through my anxious moments and use natural ways to feel better if I had one. Not rely on meds. How would I ever learn how to push through if I just medicated my way through a situation. And I want to say- I’m not against them. They help a lot of people. But I just needed to stop for me. And I am doing really well emotionally. I journal, walk, pray, talk to my hubby, stay busy with projects at home, diffuse calming oils, read and these things all help. Plus one huge side effect for me with the lex was weight gain. I’ve managed to lose 16 lbs since oct. Great video and it’s possible to do this. Plus- I will say if you wean like I did, slow slow slow. And talk to your dr. There were some side effects like dizziness and nausea but I just plowed through and stayed strong. Nothing like that now.

Situations like this really show how strong we really are. Although I wasn't taking Xanax, it was really hard for me to get rid of it. It was like a security blanket for me. When I finally threw it out, it felt great! Thank you for your amazing comment, I know it will help someone. ♥️

I was on medication it didn't worked for me, decided to leave them, had really bad withdrawal symptoms but overcomed it completely and then after some time i had a setback, panic attacks were back, I was literally begging god to show me some way and then i found your video. It’s helped me a lot whenever i felt like a wave of panic coming i sit back, breathe and talk to myself, you're going to be fine, it's just your stress hormones, let it pass, don't pay attention to it. And this works because panic attacks always starts with one symptom and then slowly it builds but if you apply this technique you can get over this because you're facing the attacks and there's only one cure to panic and anxiety that is face it and live you life and soon you'll see the symptoms are fading away. (From someone who overcomed it completely)

Hey Corinna! I experienced anxiety also due to my thyroid issues. When I have anxiety I take a nap! Ha! no really it works. Also taking magnesium helps. I tried CBD oil but it did not work for me. Currently my anxiety is a bay due to my thyroid meds being in better control. When your thyroid hormones are out of whack you can have anxiety & depression. I don't know if I ever had an attack? Maybe a little, my heart races and I am flustered. I find doing daily routines are very helpful and taking 30 mins each day for my self. Hello I just found your channel and this video the other day, and I glad I did, I have suffered anixty and panic attacks for a long time, I am against medication, that my choice, for a long time I did not know how to handle it so I turned to drink, which I thought at the time was good but it worked for a while then it was just controlling me I went to counselling, the Dr wanted to put me on meds but I refused, I think I had it under control for years, up to a few mths ago when I had to have surgery, then out of the blue I started getting them again, I had ambulance at my house 3 days a week gt checked out all good. I've been looking into all different things I can do that might help me without taking meds. I've been listening to your video and I tryed the method you said and it helped a bit, I'm going keep trying it all the time I feel I might be getting a panic attack, I did think to myself how can this work, but you made a lot of sense, I just want to be panic free or learn how to control them, rather then let it control me. So thank you very very much. I don't drink anymore.

I just watched this & it was like it was specifically meant for me. Yesterday, I was talking with my best friend (of 50 years) & I said something that I immediately regretted. I should have apologized right then, but I felt so bad & so ashamed I couldn’t get the words out. Ever since that phone conversation I’ve been on pins & needles. About 10 minutes after this happened I tried to call her & didn’t get ahold of her & when I didn’t I immediately thought of the worse case scenario. But I texted her & spoke from my heart & said how sorry I was. All day today I’ve been a wreck, not knowing what to think. When I hadn’t heard from her by around lunchtime today, I tried to call again with no success. I texted her again this time saying I really wanted to talk to her. I’ve been so anxious & wound up I took one of the anti anxiety pills my dr prescribed for me. (He said I should take one every day) but I just can’t do that because it makes me so sleepy. But it did help me relax. Finally about an hour ago & she said she would call me tomorrow. I can’t tell you how relieved I was. The one thing I’m concerned about as far as how to get through these kinds of things without meds. I have a really bad back, multiple health problems that aren’t going away. All I can do is manage them. Recently I was diagnosed with something that’s not serious or life threatening but it really makes my days very uncomfortable & distressing & I’m having a hard time dealing with it. Has anyone been able to control the panic & anxiety & therefore the attacks, while also dealing with multiple health problems? I just feel so overwhelmed. I would appreciated any feedback. Thanks.

I'm so glad your friend is reaching out to you tomorrow. I have chronic back pain and have overcome anxiety. We will always have anxiety but the attacks go away and stay away. Panic, nervousness and anxiety are normal feelings, it's the attacks that we don't have to live with. I had another follower that was dealing with terrible panic attacks. She applied the steps that I talked about and she doesn't have them anymore. It takes a few months to completely overcome but it's doable.

With God all things are possible! I've had moments of panic and anxiety but fortunately few and far between. However; I do have family members who suffer frequently. I'm not against medicine, just against life-long medicine-when they tell you that this is how you must live now. My God is bigger than that! One of the things that helps me start my day is to take a few minutes and talk to God before I ever set my feet on the floor. It's amazing how the enemy will try to make a play for your thoughts before you're even fully awake.
