6:47 has got to be my favorite clip of the DCS videos series. Excellent recovery from remodeling the apartment block with an F-15, ejecting and watching it sail off into the distance and landing a click and a half away AND the pilot survival adds bonus points. Love the videos!
The one at 3:18 reminded me of the gta5 mission where Trevor Flys a crop duster into a giant cargo plane door
It's more like reenacting the Knight Rider stunt of driving the Trans-Am into the semi while it's driving down the highway in Mythbusters with the C-5 replacing the truck

for the a-10. if you were going to eject which you should have to begin with. dont land, come a stop and then eject. its actually more dangerous because the fire doesnt have the wind speed to deal with and will consume the aircraft very quickly. just saying.
He’s landing in an enemy area so he wouldn’t want the plane to survive and be captured

The survivability of that aircraft is insane
That's the reason why it's being phased out. While the Warthog is built like a tank, it would often bog down operations by having out-of-service planes on the tarmac due to having flown too close to targets. Meanwhile other systems already exists that can take out the same targets from a much safer distance.

So, DCS has amazing gameplay, physics, and destruction physics. I just really wish the planes wouldn't blow up so easily.

its a simulator, and realistically the plane blow up easily, thus why dcs planes blow up easily
