      Bruckheimer has said it was never written, discussed, or planned that Connery was actually Bond. That being said, this is not a denial of your statement, Robert. I'm on board with you. There are so many things that point to that that it makes you wonder if it wasn't at least subconscious. It's a fun and worthy theory regardless of what Bruckheimer says about their intent.

    One of Michael Bay's best action movies of his career.
    There were talks of a Sequel to the movie, it was going to involve Nic Cage's character Goodspeed going on the run to prove his innocence after he's accused of trying to sell the microfilm on the black market.
    It was cancelled as Sean Connery, RIP, retired from acting, Michael Bay was too busy working on The Island, Bad Boys 2 and Transformers, while Nic Cage was working on the National Treasure films.

    • @RuntotheMovies
      @RuntotheMovies  Год назад +3

      Wow. Maybe one day there will be a sequel. Sans Sean Connery (RIP), of course. Last year we recorded a reaction to The Island. It hasn't made it's way to either Patreon or RUclips yet, because it was a three camera, three person video, and those are way hard to edit. But it will be appearing within the next few months.

    Hi Toy, Tori & Boo!🙂Tori looking adorable as always. I hope Boo & Shadow are doing OK. This is a real 90s action film! It feel like it shares some DNA with "Con Air" (1997), another film produced by Jerry Bruckheimer which also stars Nicholas Cage. Chemical weapons are super scary, as they're invisible and usually by the time you're attacked it's too late. Ed Harris (head bad guy) has been in many movies. Toy, I think you recently saw hilm in "Top Gun: Maverick" as the guy that wants to shut down Maverick's flight at the beginning of the film. He is also in "Apollo 13" (1995) a great film that came out a year before this one. He can be seen in a younger role in "Creepshow" (1982). Your reactions to the kills in this are hilarious, ladies!😄Great reactions to The Rock, Ladies!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This movie also has a super fantastic soundtrack that doesn't just perfectly fit the whole plot and action scenes but also the theme in general. To answer your question, yes VX2 nerve gas DOES exist. I was an ordnance specialist in the Navy, so I was aware of it and trained on how to arm a warhead containing various chemical and/or biological agents. The good news is the US has not used chemical weapons since the Vietnam war era. Technically NATO has treaties that vow to not use chemical or biological weapons unless absolutely absolutely necessary. So it is not a weapon that is or would be casually used

    Tony Todd, Ed Wood Sean Connery, Nicolas Cage, and many others whose names slip my mind at this time. A fantastic story, with compelling characters and a narrative that most Americans in todays crazy political climate can certainly get on board with in some facet or another. Since all of these modern high action films are making you both so anxious, aside from the already dream reaction of Grumpier Old Men, a move that is both light hearted and fun that I highly recommend is Duck Soup by the Marx Brothers. Oh, and the actor that plays Womac is an absolute banger of an actor, was fantastic in The West Wing, which is a show I highly recommend to everyone, not because I necessarily agree with the politics within the show, but the way everything is done is pretty spot on, and well acted.

    I am guessing on the writer here, but this has happened.
    During the Manhattan Project a few scientist died. Worst part they calculated exactly when
    They were radiated, then they came down, then calculated their own death.
    That is hearthbreaking. That is true.
    Still haven't seen Oppenheimer, hope they talk about the physicist who died

    5:14 "Seal us in" That is command and hero sh*t done right. You missed it, it come back in the story... We what I, we, My gen, thought once was a sh*t action flick of the 90's own all that Marvel can provide today. And now we know, we'll cherish this film not only for nostalgia, but because it was better ;)

    9:0 6-Good eye, Ladies that is indeed the guy who plays Tucco..he's got a long "bad-guy" history in Hollywood, 20:14..Captain of the seal team should've simply ordered a retreat..Hummel would've probably let 'em go. (Another great role by Ed Harris.."Top Gun 1 and 2", "Radar", "Apollo 13" "Absolute Power"..the man's done more than 60 movies, many big hits. And don't worry about an occasional cuss word slipping out..Other watchers let 'em loose on a regular basis!!

    32:40 This, in the 90's, was a win for the nerds like me. Even though, we played sports, our passion was within the brand new internetz. But we couldn't say that. We couldn't say we loved video games, because society, more importantly, girls/women didn't rank it. LOL.
    The best part, we don't care. We don't ask for an apology . It made us stronger

    A scientist actual died from this in England I believe. Been a while since I re-checked it. She was a doctor working near to the samples. England, Porton Down? The only confirmed death In the west I believe? Been a while since I read about it. PLs check me if I am wrong
