I stopped drinking alcohol, here’s what happened. #aaresources #sobrietyjourney #stopdrinking #dryjanuary
Thank you for your witnessing and supporting!
You are so brave for sharing. As with any addiction, it’s a daily act of choosing not to, just like you said. It helps to think of the reward - of being more of you, authentically, inherently, radiantly you without that drink/food/drug/shopping etc. It’s not a sacrifice, it’s a choice to be a brighter and truer presence in the world that desperately needs us to wake up to our true ‘un-numbed’ nature! Thank you for all you do. Rooting for you🌺
Thank you for your words. You are very very right about this. To a truer presence ♥️
It’s been almost 3 years of sobriety for me. Listening you reminds me of exactly what I went through. You are a beautiful person and I find strength in listening to stories like yours and understand I am not alone. God bless you.
Congratulations on 3 years 🙏🏼💪🏼🙌🏽
Thank you for your story and feedback. Here’s to many more!
I love this so much. You have such a gentle elegant way of addressing your shadow side. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts, sister. You are so dear! 🤗 I have enjoyed all of your videos. Namasté 🙏😘
Thank you so much for putting it that way! It’s still tender and feels vulnerable a year later to have shared this but I know it helps people! 🙏🏻
Thank you for sharing ❤ I also don’t drink alcohol since I got 18, my body really doesn’t like it and I don’t like the disconnect with myself. Always welcome in non-alcoholic beer country Belgium 😋
Thank you for sharing too! I had such a great time each time I went to Belgium. 🇧🇪 Can’t wait to go back!

Thanks for sharing your story❤ I'm the same, one glass of anything, and bye to my self, and I hate that sensation of losing control, because most of my memories are of things that I would never choose or do being sober, it's like two personalities😅 and the worst to me it's the depression next day, the dark thoughts and like you feeling back to zero😅 but now I'm 100 days sober, and I'm like a hermit building my new lifestyle, and knowing that I cannot live my life with alcohol, never, its like a poison to my brain and my sensitivity so I choose to be me again, and not playing that game of triying to control alcohol, cause I always lose (for me)😊 thanks for all of your tips, and everything, so helpful ❤ you have a new friend from Spain to do healthy but funny stuff, cause we are alive, so we have to enjoy another things 😊
Congratulations on 100 days! Yes to everything you said. I’m so happy for you 🥰
@@CapucineF Merci☺️🤍
Thank you for bearing your soul in this way, for being so bravely vulnerable, for sharing your story in such an impactful, thoughtful way with pure intention to support others, like myself, addressing similar challenges. You are a gem! 💞🙏🏽
Thank you Imani. Your words touched me! ♥️
Yes me too with the mean voices the day after I drink!!
🫂
4 years! Best decision I’ve ever made, the most self love I’ve ever shown myself. Congrats!!!
Oh ! Thank you and congrats to you!!!!
I’ve quit opioids, benzos and alcohol. Its been 10 months now. Still wondering whats so great about this…
About quitting?
@@CapucineF yeah.
Year clean. Still stupid asf.
I worked in a Rehab for a year as night staff, and have had the issue of my own with the booze. I socially drink now but, as always, self awareness and listening to your body is the key. I NEVER drink Spirits, very little wine, but like a couple of beers or a cider- there is a joy in life through the fellowship of the alehouse and the cultural aspect of alcohol. If you can take it or leave it you're ok. But thank you for sharing your story and what works for you, it all helps someone somewhere.
Thank you for sharing too!
Hello Capucine , 🙏 Gratitude for sharing your story ! There,s a prayer that I think beautiful and I discovered that is used in AA Meeting . I love your vídeos, you are a Beautiful Soul !
Many Blessings to all of us ! 🙏💐🕊️💖
Oh what is the name of the prayer?
In portuguese is called " "Prece da Serenidade" Serenity Prayer.
Thank you!
I find since losing my partner I’m drinking more and I can’t remember things the next day which gives me lots of anxiety. The majority of my social life involves alcohol so I need to find new things to do. It’s hard to give up the fun more than the drink. My partner was an alcoholic and I didn’t drink for long periods because I obviously was trying to help him not to drink. I know therefore that I can do it but my heart is so broken I’m scared of not having the fun escape as it’s sometimes the only time I’m free. I do need to try though as the anxiety hurts too. Thanks for your honesty ❤x
It must be so hard to be going through this loss. I'm very sorry you are in this difficult moment. I'm glad you found this video. There's a lot of other ways to find fun or the escape you need, ways that don't hurt your health or how you view yourself. I hope you find those ways, and the people and resources that can help you. You are not alone. Take care :)
❤❤❤ I will try the heart healing session tonight. Thank you 😊xxx
