NEW SEWING TABLE FROM A DESK

- In this video I show you how I purchased a desk and turned it into a sewing table for my Brother Dream Machine. I love my new sewing table because it has some extra storage space for my scissors and bobbins. I can also store other things in the drawer as well. It's always nice to have a designated space for your sewing machine and notions. This desk is the perfect solution for anyone looking for a sewing machine table. This particular desk has hydraulics that enable you to move your sewing machine up and down without having to lift or crank anything. It also features a phone charger and USB charging ports. It's a must have and I'm glad I have it!

If I had a dedicated sewing room, I would have been able to get something like this table. Most tables I looked at didn't go low enough for my machine for when I quilt and cause too much neck and shoulder strain/pain. I just got the Kangaroo Joey & Kiwi combo. I just received them on Monday and am very happy so far. Just waiting for the acrylic insert for my machine to arrive which should be any day now 😉😊. It's nice to put away all the folding tables away once and for all

@@TheCraftyAuthor I had a Hv 980Q and now have a HV 95Q which fit just right 😁. I saw that table at Costco the other day which would work for my Singer Legacy 440Q, but wouldn't work for my HV machines whatsoever. I wouldn't have any space on the left at all. But, yes, the power strip and charger station are pretty cool!

Hi Kim- I too have a bad back and was having trouble finding a chair that would work for me. I have 2 gaming chairs and I love them both. They are perfect for sewing! The one I am sitting in on the video is from Sams Club and my pink gaming chair is from Amazon.

Hi Suzanne- Yes. It is very sturdy. I use it for sewing and embroidery.

That is a Janome table that came with my 9400. 😊 I believe Janome makes it.
Hi, what kind of machine is that i need a good embroidery machine.
I have the Brother XV8500D also know as the Brother Dream Machine. It is an excellent machine. If you can pick one up, you definitely should. The largest embroidery hoop size is 9.5" X 14"
