Im going trough hard times right now, death of grandfather and separation with a kid in the middle. Im fighting hard to forget her but i still love her what can i do to help overcome this feeling? How can i rip apart this love from this person from my heart? Im focusing on myself exercising co parenting my kid but im finding too hard to forget this feeling. Also bought your book about the 12 rules of life a few days ago so it can help me straighten up a little bit and look for some guidance. Would love some guidance on my issue or some link to some of your videos if you ever aproached this issue. Thank you for your words, have been helping me a lot.

@@luistomas2938 Jordan Peterson's book nor his counsel should ever take first place in anyones life. Every circumstance for everyone is different but there is one answer for all. He made himself real and gave me peace and guidance no man was able enough to give. Theres your help. Get alone with Jesus.

I recently started watching some of your videos and wanted to say thank you. For so long, I struggled with being misunderstood for loving others so deeply that it pains me to see others suffer. And the hurtful feedback I get when people attack me for being too analytical or for being the voice of reason. All I was doing was simply helping them learn to be genuinely happy. The pain I've endured for so long because humankind has lost its way is the same pain I think you also carry. The pain that no one else have ever understood. You are truly an amazing human being. Thank you for reassuring me that I'm not alone.

I am becoming an author and I always watch your videos and i find so much depth in what your saying. I usually try to analyze it with my brither or my girlfriend afterwards and then tey and see how i can incorporate some of the themes or issues into the plot. My mind was in a slump for several years from being worn down with life in general but you helped me find some purpose and sparked me to read and critically think again. Thank you.

JP has a great way of speaking, that I fail to be able to Express. He has concepts that ring true, and ideas that inspire.
He says it much better than I am able to. To grab life by the "horns" and find your true destiny, rather than just let life pass you by.
And he promises that if you do grab life by the horns, then wonderful things will start to happen to you, magical things, and the world will change around you and will enhance your joy, and contentment and fulfillment and satisfaction. The world will start to revolve around you, and you will dance the dance of the cosmos!
This is what I have found to be true, and the fundamental, underlying secret of this world/life and it's all about how we choose to respond to it, determines what kind if life we experience!

My son is 24 this year... I didnt know him for his first 10 years... oh I knew he was out there but I didn't know his name his birthday or even where his mother was. It was that situation when we had a brief fling, we broke up and a few months later I got a phone call "I'm pregnant". Then I never heard from her for another 11 years ... I met the boy when he was ten, I knew him for 6 years then I haven't really spoken to him for nearly eight years now. I'm really angry at him because he started throwing accusations of abuse around when he was 16. I wasn't named but he kinda lumped me in with the abusers and stopped communicating. And do you know what? I don't care! Parenthood for me has been nothing but a source of distress and anguish and I'm well shot of it. It was never part of my plan anyway. Does this mean I need retooling?

I highly doubt that your speech will help motivate those who have quietly quit from this ponzi scheme.
For all those who can see this.
What jordan is telling you to do is to do what the boomers were told to do. Work hard, be successful, gain material abundance, career success, buy a home, save for retirement.
Once you sacrifice 40 years of your life, you may just have enough to have enough saved up to retire and not worry about you financial security until you die.
It definitely worked for some of the boomers, but it didn't work for them all.
For the ones that it did work for, just look at them closer. Are they happy?
They may be financially stable and secure, but observe their whole being.
Do they display the energetic vibration of a person who lives their life filled with joy, celebrating their hard work and success, having made it the retirement with everything society told them they needed to have to be happy?
I can guarantee you that they are still bitter AF. Their marriage sucks, their kids barely visit them, they spend most of their time alone, enjoying the fruits of their labor, no longer needing to continue the rat race.
Don't be fooled people. They call it the rat race for a reason. He tells you that you need to get your ass on that wheel and run like a mother f@#&_er.
Why? Or else you are a worthless piece of sh!t.
You're telling me that once that rat gets off that wheel, it will be happy and filled with joy, having put in that work and they earned everything they deserve.
Look at that old guy about to retire. That's reality. Your life will be just as unhappy and unfulfilled.
These boomers were lied to their entire life, like a carrot hanging in front of them, they marched forth, manipulated into thinking that carrot is theirs, within reach.
Social security will no longer pay out full benefits as of 2030, maybe around 85%.
Do you really think that millennials and genX would agree to having more taxes taken out of our checks, so that these boomers who hold most of the wealth can retire more comfortably?
It will be done under the pretense that us paying more will guarantee that social security will be accessible to us when we retire.
It will not be there when we retire, so why should we pay into it?
So I ask you my brothers and sisters, are you sure you want to get back on that wheel and resume the rat race?
All so you can be burdened by large debt, benefits obligations, higher taxes, diminishing purchasing power, increased cost of living?
    Why again?
Oh yeah, so we can congratulate you for not being a bum.
I really don't care what you end up accomplishing, how much you've earned, how many years of college you studied for.
Most people will not give a damn. Why? Because most of them will have obtained something similar or even more than you have.
It's a dime a dozen. Nobody is going to look at you in awe or be impressed that you became the 67th million American with a college degree, but can't even make 6 figures.
If you do make 6 figures, the other person's 5 figures isn't that much more impressive.
Now if you're a woman, it doesn't matter if you have your doctorate and make 6 figures.
Mr Ken barbie isn't going to feel turned on by your income. Given a chance, he will always pick the one who he's more attracted to, even if she works a minimum wage job.
If your doctorate was so special, how did you lose to a woman who barely graduated with her high school diploma?
Keep you independence and your material wealth. It will never fill that empty void your degree and your job tried to fill.
You're no different than that boomer retiring. Old, disgruntled, unhappy, discontent, but lots of cash and a big house!
No man who makes more than you will pick you

Yeah JP's advice sounds great, it FEELS great, but then you go out into the real world and see how it actually works and you realize that it's just a bunch of nonsense. The world is made up of haves and have-nots, and the haves do everything in their power to make sure that the have-nots don't get more, regardless of how hard they work. Why? Because this planet has limited resources and the handful of people at the top want to hoard all of it for themselves. That's the reality of today, and why so many people are floundering. No amount of self-help philosophizing will fix that problem.
