What settings are u using ? With the 12x7 and do you use the sp01 . Can you take a shot of your set up please . And do you still use the 7000 or is that by the wayside now?
Hi mate, yes I use the sP01. Detector manual sensitivity 2-6 depending on conditions, threshold always on, volume 2nd eyebrow. sP01 I like Mode 2, Filter 1 or 2 (depending on which headphones I'm using) and then adjust volume so my threshold isn't too loud. Still have the 7000, and look forward to swinging that more with the 17x13 NF coil in more open ground. For picking up scraps in old pounded patches, the 6000 is the go.
Thanks for the video, do you know yet if they're bundle wound like the Coiltek's or Semi Spiral like the stock coils? I can't get an answer out of anyone on this, the Sadie size will be bundle but the larger ones have potential to be semi spiral.
Hey Simon, the 12x7 Xceed is using a sort of flattened bundle wind. So basically a rectangular cross section. Performance wise, I think that gives the best of both worlds.
Any ideas for why the coil ended up being white 🤔? I've also had a go at the black demo version in Clermont and it was talked up as being robust and good with the heat. Ran smoothly and copped wet ground well. Cheers 🍻
Yes this test coil I used worked well for me. Not sure why the change of colour, but I like the look of the release coil! The main change for me was the addition of the angled raised "ribs" on top of the coil. This seems like it would provide a more rigid coil - but I'm only guessing.
Hello, I don't have any really big coils as they just don't suit where I detect. Ground is too cluttered and too much EMI, so smaller coils up to 15" works best. I did some testing with a 22" mono on a 5000 some years ago, and we were able to get about 5 feet on a target approximately 9" in diameter.
Hi Bill, nice one. Keep your detector Target Volume on 7 or 8. Volume Limit on 7. If you have stereo headphones you'll find Mode 2 will give you a "bigger" sound - almost like a surround effect. But Mode 1 is still good and usually needs a bit more volume. Filter 1 & Filter 2 positions give similar sound enhancing, but Filter 1 has a little more bass. Filter 3 is all low end frequencies, so suits people with high frequency hearing loss. This usually teams up well with a very low Tone setting on your detector. Everyone's hearing is different so you may have to experiment before working out what you like best. The key is to not over-amplify, so use the Volume control gently.
That coil looks like a winner
Yes. Thanks for watching
Thanks, always enjoy your vids. MSC
Cheers. Thanks for watching
Well done Nenad,
That one peace in the rock looked nice and chunky,
Coil seems to be punching nicely mate 👍
Thanks mate, still small, but about ten times bigger than a 0.04 haha
Love the video. Looking forward to getting one when they arrive
Thanks Roy! Hopefully they aren't far away.

@@diggingwithphasetech Thanks Nenad! Do you know yet if the Sadie size will be the same windings? That'd be awesome if it can be.
@@phrunt Sorry don't know any specifics on that one

Hello sir
Can you do a GPX 5000 depth test for burials and what is the maximum depth it can reach using a 22 or 19 inch coil?

NICE BITS" NICE TEST! WINNER! imo
Indeed! Thanks for watching
Nenad, what is the cover under the hand piece where the cable goes through
A cable guard. Just clips onto the shaft
@@diggingwithphasetech Thanks Nenad. Where are they available from.
It's been a long time coming.....can't wait for that 8x5
Yeah, there's a few hanging out for that little one
Hey mate , Purchased the sp01 for my 4500 any tips?

What we’re running in difficult or normal in settings cheers
Difficult, and Sensitivity on 3 (up or down as required). Running the audio through steelphase enhancer and GME speaker.
Well done 💰
Thanks Stacy!
